Sela finished her dessert and slid out of her chair. Her thoughts were still playing on the idea of what her birthday would be like this year. It would be the first one she got to spend with her daddy, the idea was exciting! Her whole family together for her birthday...The toddler couldn’t help but smile. Moving to the end of the table, she grabbed the box her pet was in and ran upstairs as her daddy came down. Momentarily she stopped on the stairs, looking back over her shoulder as he walked out into the garage. Would he leave her without saying goodbye again? Her smile fell at the thought. If he said he loved her so much and that they were a family, he would right? At least a hug and tell her exactly that he loved her; just like her mommy did before she left.
With the box firmly grasped in her hands, she turned back to her destination and made her way into the living room. Seeing the eye dropper her daddy was talking about, she tilted her head a little curiously at the bag set beside it. Walking over to the table, she set the box down and looked in on the skittering creature. Picking up the dropper, she held it above the vole, trying to get it to drink the water inside but instead it ran away from her to the other side of the box. Each time she tried, given she only tried twice, it ran away from her. Huffing in frustration, she pursed her lips into a pout. Maybe if she tried calming it down and coaxing it, then it would work. Just as she was setting down the dropper to calm the little vole into trusting her, she heard a knock at the door; perking right up in hopes that it would be who she thought it was.

Her head tilted up obediently, eyes shifting the slightest bit more open at the touch. Her owl like eyes glittered beneath the natural light of the window - now slowly beginning to die out the closer it got to the end of the day. The slightest bit of a groan passed her lips, "Mmh...~" Which was only followed by a slight snort and giggle as she leaned back against the bedding. Her arm lied out across her stomach, slipping up only if he pulled her shirt enough to do so. But shockingly, even when they had first dated, she had found absolutely nothing wrong with the action. Strange at first, maybe, but in the end, it was almost flattering. She wasn't one for being 'owned', but the sentiment was nice. Her soft pink lips fell forward, grazing over his in return with a small smile peaking over her lips. At least they'd be able to go out today; tour the city like the actual tourists they were. Maybe even go see the seaweed like she wanted to. She pushed herself off of the bed after he retreated for the bathroom, looking over for her small make up bag that she had placed next to the night stand.
She didn't put on much... Just enough to look presentable. She dragged the eyeliner across the top of her eye, brushing on a little blush and foundation to cover the spots she thought looked a tad too red or flushed. But otherwise... She slid down to pull on a brown boot heel, then the other, finally pushing herself completely off the ground and brushing her thighs off. And... She looked over to the open door, glancing over her fiance. "Good to go?"

"Ready ready." Hakem concurred, waving to the door so he could follow her. He grabbed his wallet on the way out, hashing out in his head how he wanted this night to go. He should go easy on the drinks this time, enough to not go tripping through the sand like an idiot. However, he would certainly not be drinking just wine tonight. There was sure enough to be something mixed with coffee? He hoped so! Settling for jack Daniels would be his second most choice. Maybe just maybe he would wind down with sherry. But then he'd make sure it was okay with Tori to walk their way to the beach, letting Ty get home to his...kid, and they could go to the beach.
He gazed up from the stairs to the doorway where his nephew was letting someone in, half thinking the female from this morning had returned yet again. To the contrary, he did not know this female. His wallet was shoved into his pocket in anticipation to leave. She must be the sitter for Sela, meaning they were in the clear.

Tyrese answered the door, stepping back to let Kassandra in. "Thank you for coming on such short notice." He noticed his aunt and uncle, peeking behind them for his daughter coming down the stairs per chance. He had to put her in charge of the house while he was gone! Besides, she'd be in bed by time he got home; and he said something he meant not to today. He couldn't take it back but he did have to correct himself. 'Oh, Kassandra.' He began, lowering his voice a little, "Sela is keeping a new friend she caught outside for tonight, dont let it in her bed please. We're letting it go in the morning." He smiled briefly before pointing out the garage door to Victoria and Hakem. They could get in the car without him, he wouldn't be long.

Teetering on her feet, the teen walked into the large home as the door was opened and her current client stepped out of the way. She’d never babysat for anyone in this neighborhood before. Who knew Sela’s dad was so loaded! It made her wonder why she lived in Pasadena, but those were thoughts she had to keep to herself. It wasn’t her business why a family was separated. “Oh no problem, Sela’s become one of my favorite kids to babysit,” she replied with a dismissive wave of her hand as she readjusted the backpack on her back. Letting her amber eyes dance around the room, she turned her attention back to the blue haired man as he lowered his voice when he said her name. Maybe blue hair ran in the family, but she’d never seen it be a natural color before. Forcing her thoughts back to what he was saying, Kassandra chuckled lightheartedly, “Alright, note taken.”
“Kassandra!” Sela shouted happily as she scurried out of the second floor living room, standing on the landing and grinning from ear to ear. The teen tore her attention away from the man and towards the stairs where she saw the toddler starting to climb down the stairs as fast as was possible for her. Sela jumped off the last step and ran over to the brunette before jumping into her arms. “Uhf!” Kassandra grunted as she caught the small child, jostling her a little until Sela was securely in her arms and slightly supported by her hip. Turning back to Sela’s father, she gave him a small smile, “I have your number in case of an emergency, so there’s no need to worry.” Looking back to the toddler, who had been saying her name the entire time she spoke, she gave the girl a fake pout, “What is it?” Sela pressed her hands against the older girl’s face, “I got a pet,” she told her excitedly. Kassandra pulled her face away and smiled, “No way! Your dad was just telling me about that...You’re gonna have to show me.”"Okay!" she replied.
Setting the toddler down, she watched the girl haphazardly run her way back to the stairs. “I brought things for us to do so she’ll be out like a light by the time you get back,” she told him as she tugged on the strap of her backpack. When watching Sela during the day, she didn’t bring as many things with her because he usually picked her up fairly quickly. But since this would be a longer stay she made sure to come prepared.

Victoria nodded in return, turning on her heel and clicking back out the door she had come through. This house may as well be two or three combined with the way she felt she was constantly moving through it. Next time - if there was a next time - she'd offer to bring her own little black mini fridge sitting in the corner of he and Hakem's current residence. At least then maybe she wouldn't even have to leave the room unless she needed to. Well... That and a Keurig. She turned back down towards the kitchen, pausing only once to look over the new woman heading through the door in curiosity. So many women... Though obviously he was just as impatient to leave as they were. She just wanted to toss back a drink already. She followed Tyrese's finger, opening the door and following in the garage to see the blue car waiting for them. He most certainly was taking advantage of whatever money he did have, that was for sure. Pulling open the door, she climbed into the back, settling back against the seat with a content sigh of relaxation. "Remind me again." She spoke, twisting her elbow to settle it up on the door. "He writes, right? That's where this money comes from?"

Hakem veered towards the door Tyrese pointed out to them, skipping casually out of it and circling the car with a low whistle. He shotgunned the front seat, leaning it all the way back and folding his hands over his stomach with a blink at the ginger. "Something like that, yeah." Wolfgang puckered his lips, smelling a,reptile and looking around. "It makes it so much better that we're underpaid high school teachers, Hm?" With a low chuckle, the garage began to open behind them. Whoot! Time to go.

"Thanks, Kassandra." Tyrese repeated gratefully, picking Sela up with one arm before she could scurry too far upstairs. Her head tapped the bottom of his chin as he grunted and shuffled her onto his hips. The male kissed her cheek quickly, "Be good for Kassandra and daddy will take you to the park tomorrow, okay?" He offered, and kissed her other cheek. "Mommy wants you to know he loves you very much, don't be worried about her taking a break." He put her down again and patted the top of her head. "Daddy loves you very much too, I'll see you later." With a wave, Ty grabbed the pet and left through the garage.

“No problem.”“Unf…” Sela grunted as she was suddenly snatched up from the floor, her feet continuing to wiggle around like she was trying to get away. She wanted to show Kassandra her new pet! Until she was suddenly brought against his hips, she looked looked up at him, one eye closing as he kissed her cheek. Before she could even answer his offering, her other cheek was being kissed causing her to close her other eye. Opening her eyes back up, blinking a few times and looking up at him. There was a slightly curious look on her face, head tilting to the side a bit. He was talking to her mommy? When had he started doing that? Before he put her down, the wolfling leaned forward and hugged him tightly. “Okay daddy, tell her I love her too,” she replied with a small smile. Once she was put down, she shuffled over towards her babysitter and waved back to him. “Bye daddy!”
Once he was gone, Kassandra crouched down in front of the rather small toddler. “Alright, show me this pet of yours.”

The light was no ally to the wolf today,Ty's blinds were snapped shut and preventing him from knowing precisely what time of day it was until he finally stirred that early noon. The night wasn't exactly filled with debauchery, but he had definitely overdone it with the drinking. It was likely the male would not remember the night nor anything that happened in it, he only assumed everyone got home safely and he didn't do anything irrevocably stupid. Groaning, Tyrese peeled himself off the surface of silk and turned to sitting on the edge of his bed, one hand wiping crust away from his eyes and mouth. A shower and a change of bedding were guaranteed to be necessary, maybe even aspirin tablets and an ice pack. For now he placed his feet on the floor and steered for the washroom.
After brushing his teeth, emptying his stomach when the alcohol-infused contents churned, and brushing his teeth again, the male pulled on clothes after the briefest most shower possible. He left his hair undone, hanging over his eyes as he dragged his feet on his route back into his space. The next action was to check his phone for texts and schedule-oriented reminders. One of those things were letting him know his realtor had the keys to his new building, all he had to do was pick them up. Oh good, that was good news. It would be a bust day between that and his other tasks. He did tell Sela he'd take her to the park, right? He was a man of his word, as often as humanly possible, and especially for his daughter. Ty sighed and fell back on his bed.

Last night had been so much fun! Kassandra helped her feed her pet, who she affectionately named Digger. It was a type of mole, and moles like to dig...The connection was there for her. Well, Kassandra had helped her come up with the name, but she still liked it. Then the two of them watched movies. Her daddy would never know, but she was allowed to stay up later than normal last night; which was really fun. And finally, she was got to play with Kassandra’s markers! She normally only got to play with crayons, but the babysitter had brought them over like she had promised the last time she babysat. Of course, she had to be extra careful with the markers. However, she hadn’t been. She didn’t go drawing on her daddy’s furniture, instead, she drew all over herself. Kassandra ended up giving her a bath, but that hadn’t been enough. There were still faded marker marks all over her limbs.
However fun last night had been, after being put to bed, knocked out from all the fun she had with her favorite babysitter, she woke up crying. She didn’t know what time it was, or how long she had been asleep, all she knew was she had a nightmare and couldn’t go back to sleep. Since her daddy hadn’t come in to check on her, she climbed out of bed, still whimpering and sniffling and made her way to his room. Opening his door, she scurried into his room and climbed into bed with him, snuggling under the covers and curling up next to him. It was reassuring to have him there next to her and lulled her into a calmer sense of sleep.
Because she had gone to bed so late, and woke up somewhere in the middle of the night, the pup was sound asleep next to her father, not even a stir as the bed shifted with him moving around. It wasn’t until he had gotten up that she moved. Smacking her lips softly, she moaned and rolled around on the bed, taking up as much space as was possible for the tiny toddler. Laying on her stomach, she was sprawled out like a starfish until she felt something heavy fall on her. “Eeep!” she yelped, her body giving a reactive jerk. “Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaddy!” she whined with a breathless grunt. He was so dang heavy! What a way to wake up.

The lump in Tyrese's bed scared the ever-loving hell out of him, the wolf jumped, leaning up several degrees before bursting out into a laugh and falling down once more. "Oh no, I have a bed bug!" On his stomach, Ty rolled his head to peek at Sela, peeling the covers off past her shoulders. "And it looks just like my daughter!" He gasped, slapping his hands onto his cheeks. His head was already pounding like you wouldn't believe, he tried to ignore for now while the symptoms weren't being further agitated by bright light. In all honesty, had he not found her just now then he'd be asleep. "What are you doing in here?" He asked, keeping her pinned by the blankets on either side of her.

Sela shrieked with a giggle as she tried to scurry under the covers. Her path was blocked when she found his weight pinning them down on either side of her. Slowly her head peeked out, blinking her big crimson eyes up at him. “I’m not a bug daddy,” she huffed, her cheeks puffing out and lips pursing under the covers. “I’m a wolf.” When his question was posed to her, she looked away from him momentarily. Shrinking back into the blankets, she curled up and slowly brought her head down towards the mattress. “I had a bad dream…” she replied softly. Her gaze drifted down to the sheet, smoothing her hands against the silk, she refused to look back up at him. Only little girls had bad dreams, and he wanted a big girl, right? She felt like he would be mad at her, even though she couldn’t control things like that. Scratching a finger against the sheets, she chewed on her bottom lip as she pressed most of her face into the bed. “I dreamt that you and mommy left me…”

The ginger turned on her side next to Hakem, gently huffing onto his shoulder with pure irritation. If she heard that spoiled brat cry about one more thing, she swore. It was always something in the morning for every day they were here - sniffle, whine, cry, repeat. What could it have possibly been today? She sighed, throwing her pale ivory arm over her forehead as she gently rolled back onto her back, watching the ceiling with what felt like a bare face. Her teal eyes shimmered up to the ceiling, then to the side to study what light came into the room. It was late, whatever the light had shown... Drinking last night had been somewhat fun - she had to admit. Seeing Bree again was just... Well. The slightest of a smirk began on the corner of her lips. It was someone she didn't think she'd see in a long time; and she thought only Hakem and her could add spice to the teaching facility. She was definitely wrong about that one. Her tongue slid to the side, brushing along the cheek and pushing out the outer skin to create a bubble in the side of her face. The taste of alcohol was faint, enough to give her a reminder of what exactly she had drank last night. Hum. She was more of the sour tasting variety - something strong that left a kick and pucker on anyone's lips.
"I want to hit that child.." She muttered, not paying much attention if her fiance was awake or not. Her hand slid to grip her phone, bringing it back from the nightstand as the black charger fell and pushed itself off the bed. Maybe a bit of Mario would take her off the mind.
