 Adding some finishing touches, including an outline color of silver, Larkanna was enjoying creating such a robe. It would be unique to him and only him. Another reason why no one will dare harm him while in the city. She thought to herself as she watched the robe change from plain to extravagant in minutes. "Even the finest dressed shall envy it." She note, a delicate brow raised in impressment.

 Elkand watched as she finished the robe and smiled at her "Its certainly a sight to behold." he said and changed from his dark robes into the newer one. It felt right on him...even better than his old one did. Ge looked at her "We certainly created a worthy robe." he said "I thank you for yuor help love." he took her hand and began to walk down the hall until he reached the storage room.. He opened it and looked around "Exactly as I left it." he said and began to look around for his staff.

Larkanna straightened out a wrinkle before taking a step back and admiring him in the robe. "Yes, it is truly worthy, but not worthy enough tobe upon you, but... I guess it's better than nothing." She said with a small smile. Taking his hand and going with him into the storage room, she frowned a little, "After you fell asleep, it vanished."

Elkand sighed "So that damn creature did have my staff." he said and came out form a pile of books with a white and black book. He looked at her "I suppose that until I can craft another one I have to make due." he said. He sighed and looked down at the book he was holding that had the words Ventus Umbris on it. He looked at her "A book of spells I was never able to master." he said and smiled "This is exactly where I got the spell that had me tied to you." he said. He still felt tired "I kind of need to rest though, I used nearly all of my powers to enchant the amulet." he said "Then later we can see if its possible to get into the wizards grove unless that was burned too."

Larkanna looked over his shoulder as he read the book, looking for a spell to make a new staff. When he mentioned that he was out of energy to create one, she pitched in, "I'll make it, if you'd like." She said quietly. She'd made artifacts before and knew how to throw in extra little abilities here and there.

Elkand looked at her and raised a brow "You don't need to." he said "This is simply a temporary staff." he said "A wizards staff must be naturally made for it to fully be attuned to the wielders energy." he said and shrugged "I can wait." he said and closed the book. He looked at her "But thanks for the offer dear." he said. ((Happy new years!!))

 Larkanna shrugged, "Fine by me, then." Just then, through their bond, she remembered how tired he must have been. "Perhaps it would be best if you ate and then slept? I have a stew over a fire downstairs."

Elkand looked at her and nodded "That might be the best coarse of action for today." he said and yawned "And besides the only thing I ate and drank when I woke up was some kind of fruit." he shrugged and left the book on the ground and walked over with her as she led him to the living room.

As she walked him out and into the living room, she motioned for him to go sit down in one of the three chairs that were set before the fire. Larkanna then walked from the room and went downstairs, serving up two bowls of steaming stew before returning with them. Holding one out to him, she asked, "Did you dream any while you were asleep?" She was curious whether or not he'd dreamed during those five terrible years.

Elkand kindly took the bowl and at a little. It tasted very good to him since he hadn't eaten but he made sure to excessive regular kindness when eating. He heard her question and had no idea how to answer her at all. He tired to recall if he had any dreams but all he got was emptiness but periodically he would only get to hear the voice of his love but at the time he could hardly remember her. He shook his head "I did not dream..it was only darkness." he said 'Every so often I would hear the prayer of a woman with a beautiful voice however it was filled with such sorrow." he said "I had no idea who she was and I'm still not sure who I heard..if it was yours or if it was that monsters." he said "It was a very lonely sleep." he admitted.

Larkanna took a couple of bites as she listened. When he explained hearing a prayer, she couldn't help but smile a little. "That thing couldn't have prayed, mostly because it wouldn't have been in the castle if I was there, and I was there quite a bit before these past few weeks." She was glad that she'd been heard, to relieve him of his loneliness, if even for a couple of minutes at a time. "Well, I intend to make sure you're not lonely anymore."

Elkand smiled at her "I'm glad to know it was you." he said "It made me feel better for a few moment as I sat there in darkness." he said. He looked at her "I love you Larkanna." he said and finished up his food before he yawned loudly obviously needing to rest for today. He stood up and walked over to the couches and laid down "Goodnight Larkanna." he said and closed his eyes.

"I love you forevermore, Elkand." Larkanna smiled, "Goodnight, Elkand." She whispered the words, because she'd murmured them many a time before drifting in toa deep sleep herself when he was still under the enchantment. Standing, she took the dishes and brought them downstairs, putting them in the enchanted sink to clean them. Walking back to the room where he slept, she walked back over to one of the chairs by the flames and also allowed sleep to take hold of her.

The next morning Elkand woke up with a start but managed to hold his last statement so as not to take Larkanna from her slumber. He was sweating and breathing heavily. It seemed as if he was tired and more then when he had gone to sleep. A hateful look crossed his face "Fate is still trying to use us as puppets." he said. He shook his head and looked over at the chairs by the burnt out flames to see Larkanna asleep. He smiled and moved off the couch having to once gain get hold of walking. He walked over to her and picked her up however casting a spell to keep her asleep and he placed her on the couch and covered her with the cloak they made. He kissed her forehead and placed his hand on her head for a moment before he left the living room. He went to the library and began to pick out books on ancient spells, dragons, gods, and ancient landmark wizards have left untouched due to curses. He began to read them all as if he was searching for an answer and even began writing down certain things in the books. There was something important to be found in them that might help them defeat Lujei.
