Sanzo would look to Kojiro for a moment, then shake his head. "Ah, not so much, brother. I am not trained in the art of medicine, and as for our," he would start to say, pausing to look at the others, "men that we have on patrol, they were sent here for their stealth and lethality, not their ability to save lives, I'm afraid."
Setting the female bandit down against the outside wall of the hut. "I had assumed one of you were trained in the art of medicine and healing, if you had brought so many back." Sanzo would confess, rather bluntly.

@The Village
Kojiro nodded and sighed. "Our healer had business to attend to in the last village we were in. We were hoping she would catch up quickly.....I don't think any of us were expecting this."
The Scorpion would shrug. "I guess we should put a watch on these three. I've heard that all Crab villages are to have a cage for guests like this. Do you know where that would be?"

Normally Denbe did not like to put himself in such a position, but as they arrived, he stopped, holding Kagae up. The Crab himself would need care to recover so he could join them on their journey again, without any undue amount of delay. And all these bandits, as far as he was concerned, would be questioned, and then dealt with as necessary- whether that mean mercy, or not, once they had time to decide and deal with the present concerns. Except...
The Hare put his free hand on his blade.
"This man," he nodded to the first bandit he had struck," had raised a blade against a bound and helpless samurai, when I struck him. If that is grounds enough to kill him, I would rather have that done with now, than draw the matter out. We will still have the other two to interrogate." Perhaps that would be a kindness to his kin and he, if he regained consciousness. Perhaps not.
"Kagae-san, it was you he held his blade against. As I see it, it's your right to decide how he is dealt with for it."
He waited, calm outwardly except for a finger tapping tensely against the blade, to see if the Crab wished him mercy, or execution.

Kojiro facepalmed mentally when Denbe addressed the wounded Crab. "There should be a medical kit or two somewhere in this village....or a Yasuki willing to sell me one. The Scorpion muttered darkly. "I'll be right back!"
With that, Kojiro set off to find a medical kit to help tend to the wounded.

While Down, a character can only speak if they have a void point to spend on being able to take actions (since you have to be able to take actions to speak). Luckily, Kagae is not actually cut, and even a lackluster medicine check will bring him back to lucidity (since most of his damage is 'bashing', I'll allow him to recover twice as much wounds as normal with a night's rest).
While you are discussing things, Kojiro heads off to go find a medicine kit to be able to use to bandage crabs and bandits up. In the process, he DOES answer one question that's been plaguing some of you for some time.
A loud cry/shriek of terror, followed shortly by rapid apologies and pleads not to end their lives, o merciful Scorpion master, are quickly forthcoming. Searching peasant's homes in the dark after they've all gone to bed will generally yield this result repeatedly, until Kojiro realizes he's coming up empty-handed.

Kojiro merely rubbed his forehead at all of this, "Cousin...why did you not wake at least some of these peasants up to help us carry these ones home? Is there one amongst the village's number that can help heal these people? If you are interested in their health, it would go a long way in insuring that they survived the night."
Koijiro slumped next to the wall of the headman's hut. "As for medical kits, I think someone who is more awake and attentive than I should search for them."

Once Kojiro had left and then returned with the news such as it was, Miyako was a little put out. She was as tired as anyone, but it would only go worse on them if these 'bandits' were harmed unduefully. She glanced at Iwao and frowned. "I have to agree with my yojimbo, Bayushi-san. You need to do something to ensure these people survive until it is decided what to do. My companions are tired as am I and now we have other issues that have arisen." By which of course, Iwao would understand Miyako would decide what would be done with him.

The Hare frowned, realizing just how bad off the Crab was when he didn't even answer verbally. It made him all the more surprised the man had been able to move his legs enough that Denbe hadn't literally had to drag him back.
Seeing the others scurry off busily or decide on other tasks though, Denbe paused a moment, considering with a frown, before he spoke.
"Hisashi-san, Zanzen-san, please help get them all to someplace to lay down. We'll bind the bandits as well. Then I will do my best to see to their medical care until a healer can be found." He really did hope that a healer, or at least supplies of some sort, could be located soon.
"Once they are settled, you should grab a bit of rest while there's time."

GM's notes: Kojiro: -1k0 earth/water. Denbe: -1k0 earth/void. Kagae: None Seichiro: -1k0 earth/void. Zanzen: -1k0 earth/water. Kyumi: -1k0 fire/void. Hisashi:None Miyako: None --------------------
Bayushi Sanzo would listen to the requests of Kojiro, then Miyako. He hesitated, just for a moment.
"Brother, Sister... there are circumstances here of which you are unaware. Matters that would be touchy to be spoken of aloud. I assure you, if it was a valid option, I would consider it, but we cannot rely upon these people to aid us right now."
Void point spend on his Etiquette roll, and he scores a 41 (17 of which was from that void point). He seems unwavering on his stance.
He sees a little uneasy about his explanation, if anyone wants to contest his 28 to discern his motives.
"If none of you brought medical supplies, I will scrounge some up, then. I am more familiar with what these defiant Crab peasants tend to hide and where. I will return presently," he says, bringing his forearm across his chest and bowing, before turning and marching off.

@ The Headman's Hut
Kojiro looked over to Miyako and gave her a questioning glance. Hopefully, Miya-chan would be able to tell him what was going on later. The Scorpion bushi was liking this situation less and less.
"Yeah. Gotcha." Guess they were going to find out come morning what was up here.

"As you see fit, Bayushi-san." She glanced at the room. "As we all must do." The bandits had not been driven off, but they had several of them captured, and that was good enough for Miyako. This was not their duty. "Ujina-san? I hear a noise in the other room, would you investigate? I will tie up our visitors if you have the rope." After all, he was the most physically prowess and least prone to jumping to wild conclusions, despite his clan's namesake. Plus, he was also so honorable that no one would doubt him.

The Hare watched the Scorpion go off, thankful he seemed to know where to find supplies, but no less suspicious, even as he looked around for more Scorpions. After all, if he seemed to be in charge of them, why was he going himself instead of ordering the others? Where they were that he had seen no signs of them as scouts or guards, and none but this one had come to their aid fighting the bandits, he began to wonder. Something was off about it all, that much was certain.
He handed Miyako the rope, thanking her for her aid.
"If you could also find them and Kagae somewhere to lie, a bed or some soft earth, please."
And with that he took her warning into mind, moving quietly into the headman's hut, and then the room in question, one hand on his katana as he approached, cracking the door open to see...
