Sanoskue saw her wince and looked concerned, "Hey, are you alright? Their not coming are they?"

Kanti chuckled slightly. “It’s okay Sanoskue. One of them just kicked is all. I’m fine.” She began to munch on the rabbit at her feet.

Sanoskue sighed in relif, he was getting really nervous about the pups now.

Kanti finished off her rabbit and sat up slowly with a yawn, showing her teeth. “Don’t worry Sanoskue. When the pups are ready they’ll come.”

“Sanoskue I’ll be fine!” Kanti chuckled. “Having pups is natural. I think I’ll be okay. Now, you’re not doing any good sitting here harassing me,” she teased, nudging his side with her nose. “Go on, go get yourself something to eat love.”

“I’m sure Sanoskue, go get yourself some food,” Kanti said with a smile.

"Ok then love." He said as he ran off to find something else to eat.

Kanti stood outside the den for a few more minutes before taking a deep breath and carefully crawling back into the den. The closer it got to the time when the pups would come, the more easily Kanti became tired.

Sanoskue nabbed two more rabbits, one for himself and one for Kanti and headed back to the den with them dangling from his jaws. As he crawled into the den and laid next to Kanti, he smiled and nuzzled her gently before begining to eat his rabbit.

Kanti smiled at her mate and snatched a few bites from the other rabbit before gratefully licking his muzzle and laying her head on his side. “They’ll be here anytime…” she whispered softly before falling asleep.

Sanoskue smiled and continued to eat his rabbit, he was glad to know that he'd be here for the birth of his pups.

Kanti tossed and turned in her sleep restlessly. It was hard to find a comfortable way to lie. She growled and scratched at Sanoskue’s side, unaware of what she was doing. Suddenly she sat up with a gasp. “Oh!” she cried, startled.

Sanoskue looked up from the bone he had been gnawing on, used to her scratching and biting at his side while she slept. "Something wrong? Are they coming?" He asked
