Denji went to follow, but decided to leave her be. He was over hissing at dogs, well, at least her. He sat back down into his dirt pile, waiting for Askari to come back.

Askari returned after a while, in her cat form, carrying a newly-killed rabbit in her mouth. She dropped the rabbit beside Denji, Food, eat up., she said, lying down. Chasing rabbits was harder than it seemed.

Envy sat down at the river as she looked at her reflection. A small Husky puppy stared back at her with two Violet eyes. But she knew that was just a fake disguise and behind all the fur was just a frightened girl who seemed to fit in with no one. She sighed as she suddenly dove into the water and swam around a little bit. She didn't mind the cool water against her wet fur. If I'm lucky...maybe all this water will wash me away. She thought.
(Sorry I know. Envy is pretty Emo. But she's never had anyone to love her before. So she's been pretty lonely)

Denji stared at it, cutting it apart mentally. He used his claws to help remove the fur and dug in, pulling a piece of naked meat off. He felt primitive eating a rabbit this way, but it worked for him.

Askari turned her head away as Denji sliced the rabbit apart. You're welcome.. she mewed quietly. Even her meow sounded a little scratchy, she was probably losing her voice.

I should have cooked it first. Denji mewed to hismself before turning to Askari. Something wrong?

Askar smiled and shook her head. Not that I know of, she assured him. She layed down a few feet to the side of Denjis and the rabbit, shifting forms again, but practically in the fetal position.

Denji followed and shifted also, leaving about half the rabbit left. He had blood around his mouth and he whipped it off with the back of his hand. "Are you sure? Are you tired, Askari?" Denji asked as he approached her.

Askari shrugged her shoulders on the ground, "I dunno..my throat kinda hurts, but I'm not tired. just...I dunno.." she said, then said quietly, barely beyond her own hearing. She wouldn't have been surprised if he'd heard her, he did have sharp ears and was getting coming up from where her back was.

"Your throat?" Denji's ears twitched. "Do you want water? Maye you're tired from chasing bunnies." He suggested, almost sarcastically.

Askari shrugged, "Sure, I guess it wouldn't hurt.." she said. Most of it was a lie, she was..lonely, though she hated even the thought of it.

Envy pulled herself out of the water as she shook her fur as she walked back to the group. She saw Denji and Askari talking as she slipped into the shadows. She would find her own food at the moment. No need for Askari, or even Denji to go and get food for her when she can hunt on her own.
