"Some worlds are more magically inclined than others..." says Tam quietly shaking his head. "Well, I'm off then... see you late, m'lady." he calls tucking Kero's things under his arm and walking out the door.

*Kero is snuggled into a bed when he gets home...and so is Corby...Tam notes the lesson is on a song that can be played magically to induce slumber...and has to laugh...apparently the two of them pranked each other*

He gives Corby a gentle shake and leads him to the door. "Go home, catman.... ye have bigger fish to fry up at the temple... I thought I told ye long ago... never try to out prank a master..."
The neko flashes him a sleepy grin and yawning, starts trudging his way back up the hill. The cold brisk autumn air slowly waking him up as he moves. By the time he is at the end of the lane, Tam can see him growing more alert with each step he takes.

Tam shakes his head. "Bardic magic is done is sets of three for a reason. One to invoke the spell, two to set it's movement and three t lock it in place. Never... ever play a spell through three rounds during a practice... got it? I came back and the two of ye were out cold."

Tam shakes his head and threatens to toss a glass of water on him. "I'm serious, Kero... when practicing ye play it through twice only... got it?"

Tam sighs. "What if that had been a love me true spell or a charm spell? I could see it now... the two of ye staring into each others eyes... lovely."

*Kero glares at him*
You know I don't deal with those "Love me true" spells...Charms, yes, but not the former...that's toying with Love...you'd kill me, Sira.

"What do ye know... he's been listening to me after all" says Tam caustically. "So tell me... when would a charm spell be proper..." suddenly Tam launches into a lesson on ethics that leaves Kero's head spinning.
By the time he is done, he looks at Tam and sighs. "Is any spell acceptible?"
Tam smiles thinly. "Actually... most bardic spells are acceptable... depending on their usage."

Tam smiles. "When you consider that bardic spells do not kill... though that does not preclude the fact that you can stir up a mob into mass hysteria which can then go on a bloody rampage... or that bardic charm spells are notorious for backfiring or becoming permanent.... emotions are hell to play with ye know... Still bardic magic for the most part is designed to keep it's user alive or get a message across. It is one of the more innocuous schools of magic... but then most performance magic is. Of course any magic that deals with the mind has a potential for disaster... trust me."
He sits down and smiles. "I have your new lessons. Want to see them? You might like the last one... though to be allowed to do it, you need to do the reading involved and the first three."
**let's just say the first three lesson packets involve a working introduction to voidic magic... most of which he knows, but probably not in depth... and the required reading involves a great deal on the ethical use of voidic magic. How Mica found that only the all Father knows... maybe Kero wrote one somewhere along the line... or one of his counterparts..... Up to now Mica has been letting Kero sort of guide the lessons, but after talking to Tam he's revamping his approach...**
