Startled, Tam spins about and smacks straight into him, knocking him back to the bed and accidentally falling on him.
"Sorry..." he murmurs pulling away, looking the lion over for injuries. Kero is older now and larger, but Tam is still far bigger than he. "Are ye ok, dulcha... didn't mean to squash ye. My center of balance isn't exactly what it used to be right now."

Tam laughs and rolls to one side, propping himself up on his elbow and tickling the cub, who is still pinned beneath his legs. "So... what were ye yelling about anyway?" he asks letting him up at last.

Tam nods and gets back to his feet. "Then we shall just have to walk on egg shells until ye are back to normal, hmm." But the cub can see that he is teasing him and doesn't mind. Tam lifts a hand in farewell, telling him to rest while he fixes them all some dinner. "Won't be anything fantastic. But we'll have a bit of cake to celebrate afterward." he adds with a grin as he leaves.

Tam is busy in the kitchen working on dinner, so used to the sound of Kerobian's snore he doesn't even realize how annoying it might be. Indeed to him, it seems like music to his ears.

So when she comes down to complain she finds her mate snoring by the fire and Tam humming to himself, hard at work in the kitchen.
