I actually think it's pretty stupid to have such closed minds about things that don't exist. Don't get me wrong, I do love the gorey vampires that are commonly used, but I think it's creative to embellish on what you might think could be as well. I mean, I doubt the Twilight vampires just "sparkle" to look pretty... there is a reason for it that I think Stephanie Meyer failed to put into the story. A friend and I put to theory that it's like an evolution and that instead of just bursting into flame, they are tougher and heal quicker so it's like mini-explosions all over their body. It can be that, or since their body's are like stone, maybe it sort of takes on such properties as well? Either way, it's not just there for show. Nothing ever is.

And as for Edwards appearance in the movie... I agree he looks absolutely terrible, but that is not the authors fault, but the people who decided to make that guy Edward.

My character is good but he because of his past hates dragon users in general and wants nothing to do with them but maybe if he met the right dragon users he will see that not all of them are bad and very well help them in their fight for freedom. to avenge his parents and the towns people, and that little girl who was crying for her mother before the end.
