Listening to Eri speak, Nikita felt his stomach churn. He felt as if the emotions were trying to eat at his gut. It was guilt. In his mind, it was his fault that Eri was bitten. He was supposed to protect her as he was her elder. But he didn't, and for that careless error, Eri would have to suffer for it. "Don't worry about it. You should not be the one apologizing. It was my job to protect you. I am the one who is sorry." He stared at her as she seemed to become sufficiently stable. He watched as her small hands dug into her pcoket and pulled out a small laptop. "Remedies? Good job. Just remember them for when we go to the pharmacy." He told her, as he examined her body. She seems like she's okay... What if she freaks out again? But his thoughts were again interrupted by the noise coming from the roof. This time, it was Frank Sinatra. "What the ********, man?" He said as he raised his arms to his sides, palms facing the ceiling. There's a thousand CD's in there and she pulls out the one that is least appropriate. I swear, it's some sort of gift... He thought, annoyed by the Ada's choice in music. He looked down at Eri as she speaked. "Don't worry, kid. If anything happens, I guess I'll have to kill you." He said, half jokingly.
Ada stared intently at the side of the building, at the same time trying to shoot down any more zombies coming from the streets surrounding the gun shop. Hurry it up, Nikita. She thought impatiently. Just as she was fixated on shooting an obese zombie, a figure began running incredibly fast from the shadows of the buildings. Althought she was stunned to see someone else, she was glad that this boy was surviving. Until she heard him yell. "Help on the way?" She thought, already taking in a negative impression of the kid. Does it look like I need help? I'm as safe as can be. He's the one being chased by zombies. She watched as the kid took a good number of zombies away from the store as he ran into the opposite direction. She raised her pistol and began shooting at the large mass of the infected that were trailing behind him. "I should help this kid out. It's only fair." She said to herself out loud. She couldn't kill many of the ones that were behind him, but she was able to take down and injure a few. The boy disappeared into the shadows of New York, but then emerged new people, from the same place that the boy had come from. "Where are these kids coming from?" She screamed out loud. Things were getting difficult now. Not only did she have to worry about Nikita getting the hell out of here safely, but also making sure that these survivors-who she finally established were mostly kids-wouldn't get eaten or accidentally shot. She watched as they slashed their way to the front door. "THE SIDE DOOR!" She managed to scream over the combination of music and zombie moans. She had forgotten all about the first boy who had ran and screamed to her. She was now trying her hardest to kill anything surrounding these kids. "I am not drunk enough for this!" She yelled to herself. Thankfully, as she looked down at the right side of the shop, she could see Nikita and Eri carefully trying to get out.
Nikita grabbed Eri by the hand and, armed with AK47 and his pistol, he unlocked and opened the side door. As soon as he got outside, a medley of noises reached his ears. Not only could he hear the zombies and the music, but gun shots and people talking. People talking? He thought as he raised his AK47 in front of him. "Stay behind me and stay close." He told Eri. He was expecting to find himself facing an army of zombies, but instead found the army sliced down by more survivors. As instinct took over, he got in front of Eri and began shooting the zombies that were still surrounding the shop. He steadily made his way to the children and spoke. "Side door!" He yelled. "Lock it. Go upstairs! Talk to the girl!" He sounded like he was mentally retarted, but it didn't matter as long as he got his point accross. He was no longer using his energy to focus on speaking in full sentences. He was trying to push the zombies back so the kids could get inside without any danger. "Eri!" He yelled turning his head towards her, but still looking at the zombies in front of him. "Get them inside." He told her, trying to sound calm. "Tell Ada we've had enough with the music. Then come back outside. We're leaving for the pharmacy."

She nodded in response, showing Them inside. She ran up to Ada and said, "Nikita said he doesn't like the music, and he's had enough." She looked like she was in a hurry. "I'm going to go back down. Nikita wanted you to keep these guys safe." She ran out, making sure she heard them lock the door, then ran up to Nikita. "Ok, I got the kids in, and told Ada what you said..." She looked a bit weary. "Phew...I'm tired...." She said quietly, looking at Nikita. "Anyway... the Pharmacy...." She sighed. "I can make it..." she said, her eyes bloodshot. "We need to get there soon.." She said, looking at him, her pale face beading with sweat. "It's starting to get difficult to stop myself from...well... you know..." She looked down. "I can't believe this... I am DEFINITELY not graduating now..." She bent over, hands on her knees. "Anyway... let's go." She said looking up, her eyes dark and slightly frightening. "I'm ready for ANYTHING this time...."

"Actually, I'd probably give him Risperdal." David coughed out, jokingly also, knowing full well that it would do an infected person no good. Alex laughed to himself, he was pretty sure him and his dad were the only two in the group who knew what risperdal was. "He'll be alright..." David said, looking around to see everyone had little belief. "He'll be alright, I'm being... oh what's that word... SERIOUS, yeah that word." David said. Alex covered his mouth to keep from laughing, thus attracting more infected. Alex and David followed Kalila and Nicholas, David staying in the very back, so nothing could sneak up on them, and Alex in the center, ready to assist anyone in the group who needed help. David and Alex listened to the two siblings argue over going to the building. They heard gunshots coming from the building as Kalila yelled. They both followed suit, David still looking in every direction to make sure nothing snuck up on him. For a little while nothing moved, then they heard the roar of hungry infected. LOTS of hungry infected. Nicholas shot at the door trying to un lock it, and screamed to whoever was inside as he did so. As Nicholas turned around, away from the door, David kicked it, with all his force. As his foot connected with the door, the door jerked a little but didn't go in. Dammit, someone blocked the other side. He thought, turning to see they were surrounded. Someone yelled, apperently wanting them to try a side door. "Well you heard her, lets go." David said, ready to get out of here. Then an infected slashed out at him. David ducked barely avoiding the infected's claws. David took his exteneded dagger, and lunged it upward, through the bottom of the infected's head, through his jaw, and into his brain cavity. David put his boot against it's body, and pulled his dagger out threw the infected's rotting face. It brought David great satisfaction to be using his dagger. Alex was also shooting a few infected, as he heard a clearly female voice tell them to go to the side door. "I agree with my dad, anything can be better then this." Alex said, still holding his gun ready to fire at the earliest convinience. As they started for the side door, David looked at them all and said, "You all better not get hurt... I don't know what y'all want, but I, personally, would not like to get shot with a shotgun..." David said, about half joking and half being serious.

((Crimson Akane Ryuu has been grounded and thus cannot RP for a period of time. I don't know the length of said period of time... But this is just a warning. I'll take care of "siding off" the character until she can play her again. Just a fair warning to everyone))
Kalila continued to butcher anything within a ten foot radius of her little brother. The job was made much easier as Nicholas fired wonderfully aimed shots in the opposite direction of her fighting. There was almost a perfect semi-circle of collapsed infected bodies around them. David and Alex were fighting spectacularly as well. The ground was starting to get slick with thickened blood of infected. David attempted to kick the door down and failed. F*ck! Nicholas and Kalila screamed in their heads at the same time. It must have been some sort of sublimital message sent out by movies that it works all the time. But it failed, and if something didn't happen soon they were doomed. Nicholas watched his sister fight gracefully and expertly and started a new round of cold sweat. "She's gonna tire if we don't stop soon..." He mumbled to himself out loud.
As if to answer the groups unspoken prayers a female voice with a slight foreign accent told them to head to the side door. The situation was highly serious, but Nicholas couldn't help but laugh to himself. "Those rumors were right!" He said outloud to his older sister as their group battled their way to the side door. "That was so, a Russian accent... Their all mafia!" he said kicking an infected away from him. His foot went through what felt like a hard shell and met gooeiness. He quickly retrieved his foot, shooting a round into it's head. David and Alex were in front of them. "Now..." She swung diagnolly at the head of an infected that was once a high-class business man. "Is not..." She stabbed at the head of a former pregnant woman. "A great time..." She jerked the katana back out. "To discuss this!" She yelled over the music. Her mind was locking up emotions in the "back." Her mind to convince her these people were already dead, they were long gone before she slaughtered them. In fact... It's not even slaughter! You're doing them a favor! Her mind cheered. But dread and guilt were polling up in the back.
They reached the door to see a young man there. He was obnoixiously good-looking. Kalila guessed he was still high school aged or "just started college" aged. He spoke in short sentences, getting his main point across. He looked to be a Metal-head. Answers the question about the music... Nicholas thought, as he shot a couple shots behind him to keep the infected at bay. The long-haired man next adressed a slightly Asian-looking girl, a rather young, behind him. She's probably younger than Nicholas! Kalila thought amazed, seeing such a young girl survive. And yet the men and women at the prime of their lives didn't... She thought, slightly out-raged. Of course the thought was quickly extinguished when she thought of her little brother's survival. The girl quickly ran inside leading the way for David, Alex, Nicholas, and Kalila. They were lead to the top of the building. Nicholas took up immediately looking over the edge of the building and shooting at a couple of infected. The young girl spoke to a woman, who Kalila assumed was the owner of the voice of the orders from earlier. The voice fit her perfectly. "Take that you dirty b*stards..." He said grudgingly, shooting at a group of five. Kalila quickly locked the door behind her before also running to the edge of the building. She peered over the edge of building, taking her line of vision as far down the road as she could. She was searching for Mizuki, making sure he was ok, making sure he still had a clear leading advantage of space between himself and the blamsphemy running after him. She turned her attention back to the woman still shooting at the infected. "Excuse me miss! Thank you so much for your help." She yelled over the music and gun shots. She was thanking her for the help given to them by the young man and young girl as well. But they weren't there and she found it nessessary to thank someone. She looked back to her brother. He had stopped shooting and was now leaning against a wall. Nicholas was breathing heavily and his gun's safety was on. He had his head propt against the rifle given to him. His eyes were closed and his brows were set in a slight frown. David and Alex were somewhere. But he didn't care. This was just... So insane! Kalila walked over to him and patted him on the shoulder. He's going through too much. she thought sadly. He might feel the same way I do... She thought. Looking over her shoulder to Mizuki's general direction and closing her eyes to fight off images of the infected that she sliced, chopped, stabbed, tore... She shook her head. She really appreciated the safety. Her arms need rest from the fighting. Kalila waited patiently for the woman to stop her offense so they could plan...
Back at the house Nina smiled genuinely at Garath's response. Ah... Being very helpful by staying open. Very good. She thought happily. "Thank you Garath... Any other takers?" Nina asked looking at each member of their group. "If you don't tell me now... I'll assign you as I see fit when we get there." She stated holding her hands up in defense. "I'm going to be a part of the group that exterminates the zombies on the inside... I'm not very strong and my aim isn't good enough for the job of protecting such a slim place for error." She mumbled in embarrassment.
She looked back up at the group for a response again when she noticed Crimson looking extremely tired. Nina blinked. "Oh gosh!" Nina exclaimed. "Crimson... You look ready to knock out. It's been a long day and It's really late. Why don't you get some sleep?" She asked retorically standing up and walking to the fellow latina. She grabbed her hand and led her into her fathers room not too far from the dining room. "You can sleep in here... I'll wake you when time comes." She said with a smile and walked back to the rest of the group. "Don't bother Crimson for a while..." She said in a whisper to get her point across of staying quiet as not to wake Crimson up.

Nodding along, Crimson did start to droop, her body suddenly sooo exhausted. Her eyelids weigh so much, to much to keep them open, so she closed them, and allowed Nina to lead her into a room, where she gladly laid down and slept.
In her dreams, she saw many images, blood and zombies a main motif, faces of people she had to...exterminate. People that had lives, had children, love, laughter, life.
She had to kill. So many times, thier faces, half rotten, decayed, only angry hunger giving them life.
No, she didn't have to kill people. She killed zombies.
And she would do it again.

Ada was still on the roof, desperately trying to shoot down the infected without doing so to anyone else. From the rooftop, she could no longer see the young man who had ran and screamed at her earlier. Punk. She thought as she contemplated on the words he screamed at her. He tells me that help is coming and he sends me children. But after she convinced herself that she should forget about the young man, she looked eagerly for Nikita. He was making his way towards the children that had tried to get in through the front door. "For being children, they can definitely take care of themselves." She said with a chuckle as she watched the children massacre the infected around them. She also spotted what wasn't a child, but a man. Seeing someone older put a smile on Ada's face. Good to know there's people looking after eachother. She thought. Now... all I need is someone a little bit closer to my age. She thought pervertedly.
She had been shooting for so long that it was almost second nature to her. It still took a bit of concentration and focus to kill with one bullet, but it was getting easier. She continued to kill the infected that were closest to people below. She then saw Nikita speak to Eri, and Eri run into the store with the others behind her. She was surprised by how well Eri was holding out. Ada was expecting her to be dead-or partially dead-by now. She was still shooting the infected around Nikita when Eri and the new people appeared behind her. She heard Eri's footstep disappear as she went down the stairs, followed by a young female voice that was addressing her. Ada waited until Eri was back with Nikita before she spun around to turn off the music and speak to her new guests. "You do not have to thank me." Ada said stoically as she took the CD out from the stereo and put it in its case. She was slightly in a bad mood. She had never been this long without having some sort of alcohol in her system.
"I am Ada." She continued, inspecting the new comers. "The man you came accross downstairs is my cousin, Nikita." She tried to distinguish their faces in the dark as she spoke, but it was very difficult. From what she saw, there were two young boys who looked to be about 12, a girl dressed in gothic clothing, and a large man who she figured was their father. "You have beautiful children." She told the man, then turned her head to see if Nikita had left or not. She peered over the edge and saw Eri and him still shooting off zombies. "What are you waiting for!?! Get your a** moving towards 8th! There's less of them that way!" She shouted down for him to hear, then turned her attention back to the others on the roof. "If you are bitten, or infected, tell me. I will not have any other abominations occur in my store." She said harshly, not trying to intimidate them. It was just how things came out of her mouth. "We were planning on leaving the store soon. Head outside of the city. All these corpses aren't going to smell amazing in a few days." She said, changing her tone so they would feel welcome. "You can stay here as long as you like, but you may not take any weapons from my store without permission." She said this looking directly at the two young boys. She knew how boys got with guns. She was raised with five of them. "When we leave, you are welcome to come with us, if that is what you want."
Outside of the store, Nikita was shooting down the zombies around him. "Thanks." He'd shout everytime Ada shot down one that he would not have been able to as quickly. He waited for Eri to come out through the side door and alsmost as soon as she did, the music stopped. "No offense to Frank, but I felt like shooting myself." He said with a faint smile. He glanced quickly at Eri and noticed that even though she looked fine and she was fighting the virus, she was exhausted. No good. He thought as he kept shooting the infected that had become few. There's no point in her coming if she can't keep up. Nikita kept shooting but backed up closer to the door, in case he had to run in for any reason. "Eri, you need to let me know if you're strong enough to do this... or if you even want to try this. It's up to you."

"Nice to meet you Ada." Kalila said with a smile, though it was too dark to see it. "Yeah... Same here." Nicholas agreed looking up from his weapon at the woman speaking. "I'm Nicholas, that's Kalila." He said pointing at his sister with an open palm. "David." He stated pointing at the oldest amongst them all. "Alex." He said, not bothering to point. He was the last one left over after all. "Thanks Nikita!" Kalila yelled down to the man. "Uh-huh, thanks dude." Nicholas said right after his older sister. Ada spoke to David. Kalila and Nicholas clamped hands over their mouths as they snickered. It was a nice change of pace. We have something real to laugh at... We aren't laughing because we're crazy. Nicholas reassured himself. Unlike Mizuki. He added to make a point. Ada yelled for her cousin to hurry up or something, Kalila wasn't paying much attention to it. She had been laughing. The laughing eased her a little, so she had enjoyed it thoroughly. I'll let David explain for himself... She thought as her giggles died out. Subconsiously she didn't want to deny the parental figure. It was a good stability for her in these trying times.
Ada spoke again, but this time she had the full attention of both siblings. She had a very leader-like presence about her. It was similar to the kind David and Mizuki had, but still different. It seemed more mature than Mizuki's, but not as hidden as David's. After all, David held a lot of authority, but didn't show or excersize it much. He only used it when nessessay. "None of are infected!" Nicholas said angrily. Kalila quickly shot him a look reading "show some respect." "None of us were bitten and we have these masks," She said removing her from her face. "and these goggles," She added removing them as well. "So none of get infected through bodily fluids." Kalila said standing up. She felt like she was being rude, talking to someone who was standing up as she relaxed sitting down. Nicholas nodded in agreement, as he calmed himself. He looked up at the blade of the katana his sister held. It was covered in thick, dark blood. Yeah... Kali, you're going to have to clean that... he thought with disgust.
"That's perfect! Perhaps you could join us!" Kalila commented excitedly about the other groups plan to leave. She hoped that since these cousins were owners of a gun store they would be expert marksmen. "We have a group of people a couple miles from here. You know those houses like... a mile or two from NYU?" She asked, but didn't wait for an answer. "Well that's where they are. My friend Nina, she's an expert at this sort of thing, bunkered down her whole house so it's safe. I don't know what her plan is, but I'm sure she wouldn't mid if guys joined us." She said happily. "There's strength in numbers after all." "Holy crap dude... We haven't spoken to Nina in forever." Nicholas piped up. "Oh God... You're right." Kalila said patting herself down to find the walkie talkie. "You don't have it... Mizuki did." Nicholas added emotionlessly from his sitting position. "F*ck!" "Yeah..." Nicholas said switching his eyes from his sister, who had started panicking at the thoughts of Mizuki being in danger again, to Ada. "Mizuki's the guy who drew that horde away." He informed her quickly before continuing on with his main point. "Um... I know this is the exact opposite of what you just said..." Nicholas started awkwardly. "But... We're going to need as much ammo as we can carry, maybe a couple guns as well...." He said scratching the back of his head. "Perferably a couple pistols. Maybe some ammo for a shotgun, a Smith and Wesson, uzzies, a rifle, a battle rifle, and pistols..." he said looking at the ground. Mizuki's gun, Alex's gun, David's guns, my gun, Terry's gun, and Reshion's gun... I think I got everyone." He thought. It felt really weird thinking about the other two mentioned that weren't with them right now. It felt like the other two were in a different world. "You see... Our group is kind of packing a lot of heat. We're kind of here because that was our main point. We didn't know people were still hauled up inside... We were gonna raid for silencers as well, if possible." He mentioned, talking slowly and broken, not looking up at Ada, to show his embarrassment. "Yeah..." He added awkwardly. "Sorry 'bout that..."

She stood up straight, using a tie she had on her wrist to tie her hair back. "This is like P.E. Even when I was sick...sensei forced me to do P.E. This is the same..." She grinned, trying to hide the fact that she was in pain. "Well, we gotta get going. It's becoming hard to keep a clear state of mind..." She looked concerned. "And it'll be no good if I get you sick...." She reached in her pocket, and pulled out the switchblade. "You want me to still use it, or do you want it back...?" She said, making sure she was holding the blade side. If she got him hurt...that'd be bad... She suddenly went blank a moment, but shook her head. "We ....need to hurry..." She said, squeezing her eyes shut with her teeth clenched. "It's starting to hurt trying to fight it..."

Garath began nodding when he yawned. "Seems she's not the only tired one. I thik I'll get some sleep also if there's othing else that needs to be done imediatly." He took his plate and carried it over to the kitchen and placed it in the dishwasher. He knew that it was pointless to do so but it was still something he did. The odds were pretty good they'd be leaving tommorow for the wall mart and they wouldn't have to reuse the plate but he found doing normal things slightly relaxing. He came back into the the room. "Where may I sleep? I think you said at one point but I've forgotten."

"Oh no, you are mistaken, only alex here is mine, we went out looking for a few survivors and found these two." He said, grabbing alex's shoulder to show it was him. Alex looked up at his dad, then back at the lady and said, "Hi." David listened to them talk, "Yes join our group." David said, enjoying the company of more people. Maybe there is power in numbers, but the more people we have, the more food we'll need. David thought worriedly, but didn't ponder it much longer. Alex listened as Nicholas rattled of the list of guns. "All I need is a little bit of ammo for my smith and wesson, I don't need any for my sniper though. I haven't fired one bullit with it yet." He said, taking it off his back. "Although, I am fairly sure that my dad has gone through ammo like there is no tomorow." Alex said, looking at David, who was scratching the back of his head with the side of his uzie and sticking his tongue out at Alex.

Inside of Terry's truck, Jain sat in the passenger seat with her arms wrapped around her knees. She felt safer now, being with someone who knew what he was doing. Nervously, she ran her hand over the lock of the door to make sure the door was locked. The truck was now running into zombies and screeching all over the place. She stared at Terry, examining his face. He was very handsome, with a chiseled jaw and very masculine features. Wow. He's the poster-boy for manliness. She thought. He even smelled like man, if "man" had a specific scent. His shoulders were broad and his chest and stomach were big. It didn't look like it was fat, just thick with muscle. But everyone looks manly in a uniform. She thought as her eyes glazed over in thought.
She forced her thoughts away when Terry told her to look in the back for some shells. "Yes, sir." She said. Just being with him made her feel tough. There was something about him that made her feel like if she didn't respond or behave in the right manner, he'd shoot her in the eye. She unbuckled her seatbelt and crawled into the back seat. It didn't take her very long to find the red box he was talking about. She opened the box and reloaded her shotgun. With shotgun and box of shells in hand, she climbed back into the front seat. With her eyes fixated on Terry, she put the box on the floor. "Make a path..." She repeated quietly. How the hell am I supposed to do that? Do I look like I have any idea how to use this? She thought, looking at her shotgun. But all the same, she lowered the window to the passenger side after making sure that there were no zombies too close to the truck, and stuck her upper body out of the car. Following his orders, she raised her shotgun in front of her and tried her hardest to shoot a clear path for him. She didn't know if her shots were killing the infected, but they were being forced back. That was sufficient. Soon enough, there was a large gap. Large enough for the truck to pass through without hitting anything, at least. She pushed her hips against the door to balance herself, then lowered her head so she could see Terry. "Good enough for ya, Sarge?" She said. Not sarcastically. Her sense of humour wasn't in tact just yet. She meant it as an honest question.
