╔══════════════╗ Patrick did his usual routine on Saturday of jogging at the crack of dawn and having breakfast with Hiro. Since its the weekend he had no work and no prior engagements at this time. Thinking of what of what to do today as he cleaned up after breakfast he decided to give Saeki a call fulfilling the promise of contacting him in the near future. When the time came to make the phone call he was hesitant from his nervousness because he hadn't called anyone in a long time aside from his business partner who he is close with. Double checking the number in his journal he picked up the receiver of his home phone and slowly dialed the numbers. Moved the receiver close to his ear, "Hopefully I'm not calling too early" he thought as he waited for a response from the other end. He had practiced on what to say last night with the help of his business during the video chat so he could be ready when he does make the call which was helping him a little in getting through this process without hanging up suddenly. "Would be rude if I had done that" he thought mentally patting himself on the back for not making that mistake. Each second that ticked by felt like forever was passing by in his sense of time. Hiro in the meantime was playing around with his cat toys on the floor in the living room. ╚══════════════╝

╔══════════════╗ As Patrick continued to wait for the younger male to pick up on his end he kept watch of Hiro. He wondered if the other was in the middle of something this morning. "That is a possibility with phone calls" he thought. Couldn't help smiling at the sound of a familiar voice through the receiver. “Morning, Saeki. I'm always up this early and I'm doing fine. I hope I'm not interrupting anything. If now is not a good time then I will call later" he responded to the greeting happily and being courteous. He was curious as to what the other male's morning routine is like and if mediating and the use of the training room is part of it. "I was curious as to what your voice would sound like through a phone. The main reason I called was to invite you to hangout at the park late in the morning and introduce you to Hiro” he explained the reason behind the phone call. If his friend is busy today he is okay with rescheduling. Even so he was going to the park anyways with Hiro. Although if late morning is too soon he could settle with early afternoon. Talking through a phone than in person definitely has different feel to it that he doesn't like to do for long periods of time. ╚══════════════╝

╔══════════════╗ Patrick was relieved to hear that he wasn't interrupting anything that the other can't continue. "Oh right. He owns a cell phone unlike myself" he thought it had slipped his mind about that. As long as his friend doesn't mind chatting during meal time it's fine with him. When he looked away from Hiro he looked down at the answer machine that was a part of the home phone. Couldn't help smiling at Hiro being called 'legendary' and he thought it fits the feline quite nicely. "I'm sure he will be looking forward to meeting you too, Saeki" he said cheerfully. "Training, huh, did you break a sweat? I hope to see that in person one day" he commented referring to that conservation about training they had a couple of days back. Briefly wondered what his friend had for breakfast thinking it was probably different that what he had for breakfast and maybe Japanese themed based on what he knows of his eating habits so far. Looked forward to learning more about rice balls and their different shapes someday from the younger male. "We can meet up at the middle where some of the benches are" he answered. Since there is more than one entrance to the park going for the middle is the best spot to go for to him. He was going to show the other the secluded spot he uses at the park once they meet up. He was considering wearing the same outfit that he wore for the blind date since the weather hasn't changed or to wear something of a similar style. Usually he sticks to the same outfit aside from a uniform, but this week he wore three different outfits just for the blind dates and how muggy and rainy the weather has been lately. ╚══════════════╝

╔══════════════╗ "I can already imagined it to be, sort of" Patrick commented as he tries to imagine the training, but fails because he doesn't have much of a reference in mind to go off of. "Works for me" he replied to how long it might take to for the other to reach the park. "We will see you there" he said pleased he had picked the right spot in the park to meet up at. He hung up the phone gently then let out another sigh of relief because the phone call went very well. "Since it isn't raining today maybe I can add modeling to the schedule" he muttered to himself as he came to mind. He went over to his bedroom to put on some clothes befitting to the weather outside leaving Hiro unattended for the time being. After he was fully dressed and brought along with his satchel he went to the garage next to get his sketch book and pencil. After that he packed a couple of bags of crisps to share with Saeki. The last couple of things were to pack a couple of cat toys along with some treats then pick up Hiro before leaving out the house. [exit] ╚══════════════╝

╔══════════════╗ Patrick woke up at the crack of dawn as usual and did his morning routine including jogging. He wondered whole he was making pancakes for himself if Saeki was going through his routine by now. Once Hiro was fed and he finished his own pancakes he washed the dishes. As he was doing this task, he was going over what he say when he calls Saeki. Hold off on calling yet because he didn't want to interrupt the other's breakfast again two days in a row. So he waited a couple of hours to go into mid morning then double check the phone number from his journal. "Hopefully I'm not being too forward about asking to hangout two days in a row this weekend" he thought after he dialed the number. With the phone receiver near his ear, he waited patiently for a response from the other end. All the while, Hiro was running in and out of his peek-a-boo pipe tunnel in the living room. Watching the kitten play did past the time for him. ╚══════════════╝

╔══════════════╗ Patrick let out a sigh of relief the very second he hears his friend's voice through the receiver. "Morning, Saeki. Fine so far" he responded. "Been thinking about you a lot this morning, but that is not something I should saying over the phone since his facial appearance would be absent on this end" he thought blushing a little. "Sorry for the interruption" he apologized. He assumed the other was in the middle of something based on how long he was waiting for his call to be answered. Would have waited for the call attempt has gone to voicemail or something like that before he hung up. Hadn't left a voicemail recording in the past and no clue on how to react to a busy line because neither has happened to him as of yet. "If you're busy this afternoon, could we hang out and have lunch at the beach? Hiro will be there too if that is okay with you" he asked being careful with the inviting. "If hanging out two days in a row is a problem then I will understand" he added with a quiet tone of voice. Didn't specify if he meant homemade lunch or eating out. "If there is anything you want us to do together, we can do it together. Since I'm offering it doesn't count as doing you a favor" he said giving the other a chance to add more to today's plan. ╚══════════════╝

╔══════════════╗ Patrick chuckles also, "Rest assured he likes the beach very much. You'll get to see for yourself when we meet up" he reassures him. He didn't outright go into details about how Hiro's usual behavior around the ocean. Wanted it to e a 'see for yourself surprise' for his friend. Inviting him to different places was his way of showing him around the city without doing too much at once. Felt relieved to hear that the other enjoys hanging out together. Started blushing as the words lingered in his mind that there was a moment of pause on his end. "E-eh, yes that is fine with me" he stumbled a little with a response realizing he hadn't said anything yet. He reluctantly hung up the phone not wanting to end the call, but he couldn't come up with what to say at the moment and he didn't want to take up the other's prep time. "Now where to did put that trench coat at" he said before getting ready for the beach. He will get show more of his sculpting skills through making sandcastles.If he did go in the water will probably be up to his knees since he doesn't know how swim he shouldn't go in too far. Put on the swimsuit he wore the last time he was at the beach with the trench coat on. Stuffed towels, Hiro's life jacket, two containers with one being american beautyberries and the other Japanese beautyberries with both in homemade jam form, two spoons, and digital camera. Going to introduce his friend to this new jam he discovered after discovering these berries on the bushes of his property. After Hiro's tunnel was put away, he headed on out of the house with the kitten and strolling to the beach. [exit] ╚══════════════╝

╔══════════════╗ Based on today's forecast, Patrick made sure to do his jogging before the sunrise. He hadn't applied to a new job now, but not from a lack of effort of the past couple of weeks.He narrowed down to a couple of ones to have a back up in case the first falls through. Wanted a bit of a break between the last and the new job. Used his free time to be with Hiro as usual and hangout with a Saeki a few times and working on the statue that the younger male modeled for a while back. He believed he felt comfortable to ask Saeki over for dinner here. An hour after breakfast and cleaned up afterwards as usual he decided to make the call. Dialing in the number he has memorized at this point after using it so many times. Holding the receiver near his ear he waited for a response on the other end. Hiro was laying on the floor under the sunlight lazing around. ╚══════════════╝

╔══════════════╗ "Good morning to you too, Saeki. We're doing well" Patrick greeted back. Thanks to the calls with Saeki getting used to chatting on phones was something he was starting to get used to. Wasn't convinced to buy a mobile phone because the number of people he talks to are still two. "With how the weather is today. We will be staying indoors most of the day" he said over the phone. "So I was wonder if you would like to...come over for dinner? At my place" he invited him over for dinner. He was hoping for a yes then asked next, "This would be your first visit. Do you recall the address". Paused for a responded then spoke again, "If you have a theme or dish request will comply to the best of my abilities" he offered. "Better yet if you come earlier enough maybe you could teach me about to make those rice balls you've introduced to me a couple of weeks back" he suggested initiating some bonding time over food. He kept up with any promises or the things they could do later at a different time to fulfill and use as basis for other meetings. ╚══════════════╝
