Today was her off day, and Allix was going to spend it at Beach-A-Palooza! She always loved the thrill and the adrenaline rush of the rides, the smell of the fair food, and even the laughter from the crowd. Everything about this places just screamed fun! Allix hopped into the ticket line and once she was up front, she paid her $15 for the wrist band. She was gonna try it all! All of the roller coasters, all of the games! Hell, she would've brought Felix along, but since his lazy a** wouldn't get up, she just decided to go by herself. Would it be weird to ride on stuff by herself? Oh well. As she passed through the entrance gates of the park, the girl was in awe. She honestly hadn't been to an amusement park in years. " Ohhh~ I wonder what I should do first? " For a little while, Allix casually strolled around, taking in the new sights and smells.

After a quick little mini tour she gave herself, Allix settled for a festival game. It was the balloon game, where you'd pop the balloons with darts, the more points you get, the better the prize! The booth attendant gave her 5 darts to throw, and she went to town! The first couple times she missed, but the last 3 darts gave her enough points to win a small cat plushie. " Yes! Victory! " She loved winning, especially when she won a cute toy~ Now, the next question was what should she do next? Another game? Maybe she should get on a ride?

Golden eyes shimmered in the sunlight as they looked all over the amusement park in front of them. While the lights aren't on illuminating the night sky, it was still just as magical a place. This was where people came to have fun! Escape the hardships of life. Impress the girl. He was no different. Finn opened his mouth as if to sigh, but it just sat open as he took in the sight of the enormous park. He began remembering the night his wife was captured during Halloween and how he wasn't there. How he wasn't there when she was hospitalized by his brother's woman. How...He just wasn't there. Looking down at the ground, he searched the asphalt for some kind of answer to what he was going through. Separated. When there were no answers in the ground, he looked back up to the amusement park as he placed his hands on his hips trying to figure out if he should even allow himself to step foot into the park or not. Despite all his marital failings, she was too blame for some of them as well. Most everything was his fault, he admitted to that, but she was no innocent party either. Pushing his lips out, he nodded to himself as he held onto the belief that things would work out for them; one way or another. Until then...

Finn dropped his arms and marched his way into the park and straight up to the ticket line. He would enjoy himself until there was something he needed to worry about. For now, they had yelled, fought, cried and let go of all insecurities; only time would tell. With renewed vigor, he happily payed the $15 for his wristband before shuffling into the crowds of people. Until things were set in stone, he would live like he had before. She was with another man anyway. A flare of hatred burned in his chest at the thought of it, but there was nothing he could do about it now and thus pushed the feeling aside. Today was just about enjoying himself and getting his mind off the stress. Besides, he had let himself wallow in pity of days and now he needed to be an active member of society again. What he planned on doing, he had no clue, but he would find something. He had money left over from his time with his band, plus a settlement of pain and suffering money from the tragedy that came from it. For now, he had plenty of time to think about what he would do.

To get his mind off his problems and into a more mellow place, he slapped a few dollars down on the flimsy wooden table set up for one of the carnival games and was handed his five darts. Picking them up, he cast a glance to a young woman who had just won a small cat plushie. With a boyish smile upon his face, he threw his first two darts without looking and popped two ballons. He wasn't showing off, actually he had been a bit distracted with her excitement at winning but his gifts more than made up for any wrong act his muscles might have made. Chuckling softly to himself as he turned back to the pannels of balloons, Finn easily hit three more ballons with his remaining darts. "We have a winner!" Exclaimed the attendant. Finn let his golden eyes look through his prize options before settling on a giant purple leopard. Grabbing it, he wasn't sure what he would do with it himself, but seeing as rhe young woman beside him was seemingly ecstatic over her own cat plush he might as well add to it. "Here," he said as he held it out for her, the giant thing blocking his face from view.

A decision to where she would go next would have to wait, as her attention soon shifted onto the newcomer of the booth. He looked like the typical happy-go-lucky kind of guy. Instead of leaving off to find something else to do, the raven-haired woman simply stayed only to watch the male effortlessly throw each dart, one by one. He even threw some of them without even looking! Now that was a skill, indeed. Even being a hybrid herself, she didn't have that much skill, or luck even, when it came to simply games like this. Well, at least she was lucky enough to win the small cat plushie. She was already more than happy with her prize, but once she saw the giant purple leopard plushie presented to her, her eyes widened a bit in surprise. " O-Oh! Are you sure? You did win this fair and square. " She was a bit reluctant at first, but her kid at heart side seemed to take more control as she gently took the plush from his hands. It was huge and fluffy! Allix honestly loved feline stuffed animals - partly because she was biased and was practically a feline herself! With a big grin, she gave the toy a big squeeze before glancing back over to the brunette with appreciative eyes. " Thanks. You didn't have to. "

She soon shifted the plushie over onto her left side, holding it securely with her arm as she held her hand out for the male to shake. " My name's Allix, by the way. Although, I honestly prefer Alli~ " There was a slight French accent when she spoke her name. Coming from a proudly French mother, learning that language was a must! Her mother was always pretty adamant about leaning different languages. Allix assumed that learning different languages would help her in the long run, especially since she was pursuing fashion designing as a career. Her one and only dream was to be a well known designer. " So, are you new to Soleil, too? I'm pretty new, but it seems like this city's pretty fun! " Despite having to work a lot throughout the week, Allix was still finding new things about this city. Whether it be a new restaurant, a shoppe, or - for instance - an amusement park on an island! She occasionally got homesick for sure, but Soleil made the pain of missing home a lot less intense. Although, she often wondered how her brother felt. She did practically force him to come move across the seas with her. Soleil was a lot different compared to Japan, but it still had its own perks and quirks. Frankly, she liked how less busy it seemed. In Japan, mainly Tokyo, it almost felt like the whole city was a buzzing hive of bees. Everyone was always out doing their own little hustle and bustle. Here, it seemed like a lot of the citizens were more laid back. There was less tension, and obviously more space to actually breath without someone practically in your face.

Finn merely nodded at her question, though, the likelihood of her seeing it was slim behind the giant thing. Once it was gone from his hands Finn was smiling big, with all his boyish, down home, charm at her happiness. He had no kids at home, no wife to gift it to; his only other option was to let it collect dust in his guest room. There was enough reminder to his lonely life at home and he didn't need another one. For a moment, sadness beat hard in his chest but with a deep breath in, he blew it away as he exhaled. There was still a lot of learning to deal and cope with the emotions he used to just brush off, but he was managing. In the past, part of his problem was all those emotions would eventually pile up and cause negative, impulsive, emotions to flare up. Now, with a bit of help from the mandatory therapy he was given during his time in the hospital, he had better coping skills and that didn't happen; as often.

His golden gaze shifted to her extended hand before looking back to her face and taking her hand. "Finn," he replied with a firm shake. Finn took note of the accent in her voice, wondering where it could be from and not being very well versed in languages. Giving her person a once over, he also noticed that she looked a bit more...Asian. That by no means was a bad thing, but he personally hadn't met very many in his life and was friends with even fewer. Was she deep into her culture he wondered because that could mean new experiences for him! Letting go of her hand, he shook his head at her question, a scar coming down from his hair line now visible as his trimmed but shaggy hair moved about. " No, I've lived here about..." he paused as he thought on it, he swaying back and forth. "Just a bit over three years now. Give or take." There was an amused laugh from his lips as he thought one just how long he had spent on this island. "I'd be glad to show you around if you'd like," he offered.

As his hand wrapped around hers, Allix gave an equally firm shake of his hand before the two released. She had to admit, his large grins were rather infectious. Were all people like that in Soleil? Just cheerful people? Honestly, she hoped that was the case, but she could tell something was a bit...off about him. Even though he was smiling as bright as the sun, there seemed to be a little bit of a cloud in his brightness. Whatever it was, she wasn't just going to flat out ask him. That would be rude! It wouldn't be her business anyways. Still, she had to assume that even the happiest looking people were gloomy every now and then. " Finn, huh? It's nice to meet ya! " So far he seemed like a nice guy. He gave her a whole giant plushie, for crying out loud! Anyone mean spirited wouldn't do that for a stranger. Hell, her brother was kind of like that actually. Knowing him, he probably win the toy, pretend offer it to someone before snatching it back and walking away, chuckling like the a*****e he was. Thankfully, Finn didn't seem that way. Seeing him shake his head to her question, Allix quickly picked up the scar that was on his head. He must've cracked his head open or something. It looked kinda painful. Subconsciously, the jaguar-hybrid gently rubbed at her own throat. Her own scar was hidden pretty well underneath her black choker, but it still bothered her nonetheless. It didn't necessarily hurt, but just the memory that scar held weren't very good. It was a dark place for her; a reminder that she could've died. Maybe that's why she has been very eager to go to new places. After what happened in her childhood, Allix had lived everyday like it was going to be her last.

As soon as he had offered to show her around, her eyes lit up with almost a childish delight. " If it's not too much of a bother, then yes! I've been itching to see the rest of the city. I've been so busy with work that I haven't had the chance to in a while. Thanks! " Of course, the little tour would have to wait, however. She had to explore the amusement park first! She paid $15, which wasn't much, for the wristband. She was gonna get her money's worth and do everything at least once. It'd probably take the rest of the day to do, but she was willing to try. Now, what was she going to do next? Tapping her chin with her index finger, her dark eyes scanned the nearby area. There were more games, but there were also a couple rides which piqued her interest. She practically stood there in deep thought before she finally made her decision, finally. The Drop Tower. It wasn't the tallest one she's seen, but it definitely looked fun. Returning her attention back to Fin, a little smile appeared once more as she pointed to the ride. " Wanna get on that one with me? It'll be no fun riding by myself! " Allix barely waited for a response before she hooked her free arm around his and brought him along. Looked like her brain already made up her mind.

Was it nice to meet him? It felt like it had been ages since he met someone new, despite his time as a public face. He may not have been a famous one, but still. Not long ago he had been a completely different person; new mannerisms and all! Shaking off the nonsensical idea that he was a completely terrible person and nodded as a reply. It was indeed nice to meet someone new! He was no exception to the feeling and an ever expanding network of friends was a good thing to have. Surprisingly, he didn't have any anymore. Jacob moved away. He had been mostly Bree's best friend, but he had treated him like family and friend nonetheless. Ty was...Well, currently dating his wife. "Sure! I would love too," he exclaimed. It wasn't like he had much of a life right now. "There's not much of a shortage of things to do around here."

Finn looked up at the ride that had been suggested to him. She was an eager beaver wasn't she? He wasn't much different, always looking for fun and exciting things to do. An adventurous type like him was a good thing! There were a lot of things they could do with their personalities meshing. Trouble to get into. Turning back to her, an almost wicked look came to his normally good boy face. "You bet I will!" he replied almost immediately, sheer excitement laced in his words. His stride reflected his words as he made his way towards the ride. While he wasn't an active thrill seeker, adrenaline junkie, he certainly wasn't the type to turn down a good thrill.

Great! It looked like she finally had a riding partner now! If he would've said no, it would've been awkward for her to ride on the roller coasters and etc...with the giant purple plush. That was a kiddie thing, right? As weird of a person she was, she would've probably done it had he refused her offer, but thankfully she wouldn't have to! Once the two merrily made their way over, the ride's line wasn't too long. They'd be waiting for about...5 minutes, tops. Not too bad in her opinion. The bigger rides seemed to have a bit of a longer wait, so she was glad this one caught her eye first. " Looks like we don't have to wait too long. The line's already moving pretty steady, " Allix stated as she rose her head up slowly as the first group of people slowly made their way up to the top. Okay, looking at it up close made it look like the height was a little bigger than she originally thought. From a far, it didn't look too bad. After a couple seconds of sitting at the top of the tower, the ride eventually dropped the riders, allowing gravity to take control until the machine soon made their arrival to the ground a nice and slow landing. Judging from the screams and laughter of the riders, Allix felt even more compelled to go. She was a little bit of an adrenaline junkie.

After another group of riders went, it was finally their turn! Like a giddy little kid, the raven-haired woman placed her stuff by the items bin that many other riders placed their belongings in. As soon as she placed her plushies in the bin, she also kicked off her sandals. She had lost plenty of good flip-flops and sandals to roller coasters before, so she wasn't going to be making another "walk-of-shame" to the gift shop to buy shoes ever again! Allix learned her lesson...the hard way unfortunately. " Alright! Let's go~ " Plopped into her seat, she started to buckle herself in and pulled down the over-the-shoulder restraints. Allix made sure to that this part was TIGHT against her body. Even though she loved roller coasters, one fear she had was falling out of one. It wasn't irrational, was it?

When everyone strapped themselves in, two of the ride attendants circled around, checking each persons' restraints; adjusting them if need be. Eventually, everyone was secured in the operator gave a little thumbs-up and a smile before pressing the red button, sending the ride up slowly. Almost immediately an intimidating little song began to play. It kind of sounded like it belonged in a shark movie, especially since it rose the suspense. Allix's eyes glanced down every so often to the ground to see how high up they got before they made their way to check on Finn. Did he enjoy rides with heights like this? She'd feel bad if she dragged him onto a ride that he wouldn't like. " You doin' okay? " She wasn't going to admit it, but her heart was racing. Not exactly with fear, but from excitement. She rode on something similar in an amusement park back at home, and she always had tears that were practically forced out of her eyes. Maybe it was from the sheer force of the drop?

By the time they reached the top, her toes began to wiggle with anticipation. The music had stopped, but the light clicking of the ride was heard. Click Click Click. After the 3rd click, the ride dropped them! The only thing she heard were the joyful screams of the other riders and the strong rush of the wind as they traveled downwards. Hell, even she was screaming from the top of her lungs as a few tiny tears somehow managed to slip their way out of her eyes. Once the ride made to a slow and complete stop, Allix's hair was slightly disheveled, but she was still giggling with glee.

Finn looked back as she caught up in line with him, just in time before more people came up behind them. She looked just as excited as he did! If he were still a child he would be jumping up and down to show just how excited he was. Oh, who was he kidding? At heart he was still a child and that seemed to be his most charming factor. With a bit of a bounce in his step, he followed along as Allix pointed out their shirt wait time. This was a good way to get his mind off things. The endorphins would start rushing and he would only be thinking about the fun! Besides making music with his guitar, this was the next best way to get out of his funk. Besides, most of his days had been spent doing that and all the songs had come out as sappy, heartbroken melodies. Yes, he was heartbroken and had every right to be. However, wallowing was going to get him nowhere which was the very reason for this outing. He had done most of his mourning already and now it was time to be a real human being again. "Thank god!" he breathed in satisfaction at knowing this wouldn't be a long wait. If the ride was good enough, of course he'd wait, but as the first choice this was good.

When their turn finally came, Finn rummaged through his person quickly to make sure everything was secure before taking his seat. No, he hadn't waited for her to put her things aside as it wouldn't take long to do and he didn't want to hold up the line. He didn't feel it impolite, just practical. As she took up her seat he strapped himself in, offering to help her if she needed, though it didn't look like it. Maybe he was losing his touch with the ladies. Probably, he had been married. Before, he used to practically bring them to their knees with his kindhearted and friendly charm. Now he was just known around town as a guy everyone could talk to. That wasn't bad, but he almost felt like he had the right to try with someone else just like Bree was doing.

His thoughts were cut off with the drop of his stomach as the ride started. Up they went! He hadn't even realized he had been lost in his thoughts, ignoring his company, until the ride brought him back to reality. "God! Sorry, yeah I'm fine," he stated quickly, shutting his eyes at his own stupidity. This was why Bree hated him! "Just a few thing on my mind," he added as they continued up. There wasn't time to explain on their ride, and he had high doubts Allix would care. They had just met afterall. Clearing his mind, he remebered he was here to have fun! Before much else could be done in the way of clearing the brunette from his mind they were rapidly falling. Finn, unable to control himself, let out an ecstatic yell as he felt the weightlessness of falling. Gravity was both gone and right on top of him. As they grew closer and closer to the ground, he set his gaze on the pavement and imagined himself flying. Not flying by plane, but as if he had the actual power to do so! Everything was gone from his mind instantly and it was like he was being born anew. He felt alive and in control for the first time in months.

When the ride came to a stop he slumped back in his seat, unaware that he had nearly been on the edge of it, and laughed. He laughed so loudly, so openly, one might have thought he lost his mind. Don't worry, he hadn't. As his harness was released he fixed is wild new hair style and jumped out of his seat. He was ready for more! He was...Without even thinking about it he whirrled around to Allix and attempted a surprise kiss. He felt like himself again!

" What a rush! " Allix exclaimed as she gave out one last excited hoot before hopping out of her seat. It seemed like Finn was pretty ecstatic about the whole ride just from listening to his laughter. It was nice, actually. She hadn't really been out and had fun with anyone in a good minute. The only time she could remember was when she met Cassie at a retail store. Since then, they haven't spoken. Majority of it was her fault; she was simply too busy. The poor girl was flooded with projects from work, and also dealing with Felix's bullshit. Sigh.. It was like a never-ending thing with that boy. It was like babysitting and over grown, ex-convict, toddler. Honestly, today and tomorrow were her only days off this whole week. Hell, she was surprised she got two days off in a row. She was used to only getting either one day off...or no days off. It was probably a bit strange, but Allix was glad to be having so much fun, even though it was with a guy she just met. She guessed that made the experience all the more fun!

Alright, so what would be the next stop. Another game? A ride? Oh, maybe a quick bite to eat! With all of the possible options running through her head, she simply couldn't decide! Fixing her crazy hair, she slowly turned to Finn, trying to get his opinion. " Hey, Finn? What should we do- " She was stopped mid-sentence when the brunette had all of a sudden...kissed her?! Almost instantly, her face went completely red. Even her ears turned the same crimson shade! Once they had slowly parted, Allix quickly touched her lips gently, only blinking a couple times. She was still trying to process and wrap her head around what exactly just happened. Did it really just happened? She knew all about getting caught up in the moment, but she never just went up and kissed a stranger she was hanging out with! Maybe he thought differently than she did?

After a while, she finally caught herself staring at him a bit too long. Honestly, she didn't know how she felt. She wasn't upset, nor was she angry... She was mainly just surprised? Taking a couple seconds to recollect herself, her face slowly died down from a tomato red to at least a faint shade of baby pink. " Got a bit excited there, huh..? " She gave him a bit of a small chuckle before she went ahead to grab her plushies and slip back into her shoes. Honestly, she wasn't going to hold this against him. Yeah, it was a bit strange, but he probably didn't mean to. He probably just got caught up in his excitement and his brain had a little fart, that's all! Once she had her things together, she spun around on her heels to face him once more. " Sooo, where to next? You pick! " It was one small kiss. She wasn't going to let that mess up her day, and neither should he!

He hadn't even realized what he had done. Even as their lips parted, the gravity of what he had done didn't click. His golden eyes looked over her red face and finally is when it seemed to register. "S**t!" he exclaimed, turning away from her and mentally kicked himself. That was a stupid thing to do! Even though he hadn't even realized what he was doing, he should have known better. Maybe he really was screwed up in the head. "I'm sorry," he apologized in embarrassment. It had been so long since he kissed anyone...Even his- No! No more thinking about her. Especially right now when he was finally feeling normal again. She had hurt him just as badly by throwing their family. Pushing aside the feelings of resentment and hatred, he looked back to Allix and her still stunned expression. God, he was an idiot! Finn felt dumb for kissing a stranger he wouldn't condemn himself for getting caught up in the rush. As her crimson face seemed to change to a soft shade of pink, Finn felt like a huge weight had been lifted from his chest. It didn't look like she was going to attack him for his bold move. A normal person would have probably smacked him, understandably, but not Allix. Perhaps she wasn't the normal type? Absolutely nothing wrong with that!

The honey brunette blushed when she finally found her voice. "Heh, yeah I guess I did," he laughed. It had just been so long since he could just relax and be himself that it just triggered an impulse. Everyone was anle to act on impulse evry so often and he felt that was his chance. His attention was momentarily pulled away when the park lights came on. As he was staring up at the lights, that only seemed romantic with the added reflection of the moon off the ocean, he smiled warmly at the calming effect they seemed to have on him. Placing his hands on his hips, pushing his over shirt back, he lulled his head back to look at her when she asked what to do next. "Well I don't know about you, but I haven't eaten all day," he replied with a warm smile as he felt the hunger pangs. There was plenty of good fair food to enjoy and they had the rest of the night to ride rides. He was by no means saying they should stop, but he did need something at the very least.

" Hey, don't sweat it! When the endorphins are flowing, stuff happens sometimes. Heh, I understand that more than anyone. " Allix knew at times that even she could do some silly stuff when super excited. According to her parents, she's been that way even before her...incident. By this time around, her face was already back to its original pale color; no trace of any reddish hues were left behind, well, minus her make up. Rummaging through her purse, she took a small mirror out to check out her face. On the way down from the ride, she could feel the tears being dragged out by gravity. Thank god for setting spray! Her make up didn't budge, so it was a slight wash of relief to know that she didn't look like some crazy clown with reddish make up streaming down her face. After putting the tiny thing away, her dark eyes caught the park lights suddenly coming on. Was it really getting dark already? It didn't feel like they were there for long. Oh well. It didn't mean that the fun had to stop. Upon the mentioning of food, it seemed like her stomach would answer for her with a loud, yearning growl. " Whoa. I guess that answers it~ Let's go find something then. " When she first entered the amusement park, there were already some pretty enticing scents wafting through the air. Maybe she hadn't realized how hungry she was until food was actually brought up.

Already excited to eat, Allix quickly hooked her arm around his and started to pull him along. " You pick. I'll pay~ " Whether he agreed to it or not, the jaguar-hybrid already made up her mind. Besides, she liked to eat, so ordering a lot of food was a given at this point. A couple more for him wouldn't break the bank for her. It only took a few moments before the duo made it to where a majority of the food stands were. The immense smells coming from them were already making her stomach growl even more. It was almost starting to get annoying the way her stomach demanding food without even a simple 'please'. " Alright, so what are you feeling like? Savory? Sweet? Ohh, maybe spicy~ " Allix wasn't much of a picky eater, she'd eat anything!

At least she wasn'tmad at him! It was a goof on his part and she was sympathetic to that, even admitting to crazy mishaps she did as well. Nonspecific, but the details weren't important. His gaze cast down as she linked their arms and gave a tug. She was surprisingly strong for a petite girl. With a good natured laugh, Finn followed after her, allowing her to drag him along in the direction of food. Why was he one to deny her that right? He had just kissed her afterall. There was a bit of heat painting his face when he looked back on it. While he didn't pay attention when he did it, thus mot knowing what her lips actually felt like, he was pink because he was embarrassed. Plus, it had been so long since he kissed anyone that wasn't his wife. They had been high school sweethearts and then married in college. While neither of them attended anymore, they were still technically college kids. Looking at the back of Allix's head, he smiled at the fun he was having and that she was so understanding, despite not knowing anything about him. She reminded him of himself actually.

"Hm?" he frunted as they stopped in the giant area of food. Looking around at all the stalls of food, he saw pictures of delicious looking food, took in the smells and tried to figure out what he wanted. "No, I couldn't let you pay after my idiocy," tried to reason, wanting to make it up to her. Of course, it didn't look like she would agree to that. Well he didn't want to break her bank so he needed to find something that was relatively cheap but delicious. Being on tour had opened his palette to new foods, having once been those people that didn't usually branch out from what they liked. "Ya know, I'm feeling kinda Greek tonight," he said, finally deciding. Grinning big, he led her towards the Mediterranean food and got in line. "Have you ever had Greek food?" he asked, realizing that this was the perfect opportunity to learn about each other before the park closed.

Ugh! The smell of the foods and even the display models of the dishes were killing her! If she wasn't fully conscious of herself, she'd be drooling like a dog at this point. Her eyes scanned each stand until Finn had mentioned feeling like Greek. " Ohhh~ I haven't had Greek food before...Well, other than baklava. " The whole idea about the food was simply exciting to Allix. In Japan, it was honestly a bit difficult to find authentic foods from around the world. Sometimes she would find something really authentic, and it was great! But, even the ones that had a Japanese twist were still good. Now that she moved away from home, she guessed now was the best time to expand her palette on food. She wouldn't be able to call herself a "true foodie" if she didn't have the authentic food, right? As the two stood and waited in the line, the girl's eyes curiously rose up the honey brunette as she gave him a rather curious expression. She was tempted to ask him about how he got that scar on his head, but she knew that would be waaay too personal on the first meeting. She would have to go with something light instead. " So, what else do you like? Besides the food, that is. " She was genuinely curious about his interests. He had said he lived in Soleil for 3 years, correct? So there had to be something here in this city that he liked, or maybe some hobbies that he indulged in. Allix wasn't going to be too nosy, but if they were perhaps going to be at least acquaintances, it was better to know just the basics of each other.

Before they got to continue on with their little conversation, it seemed like the food line went quicker than she had expected! " Welcome! What can I get you two? " Changing her attention onto the menu board, Allix rubbed her chin in deep thought. She hadn't had Greek food before, so what was good? With the way she was deep-thinking, someone would think that she was philosophizing something. " Ummm... " Lifting her elbow, she nudged Finn gently motioning for him to order. It was obvious that he had this food before, so he could play Captain and take care of that. She would just eat whatever he got. " I'll eat whatever he's getting. " After that, she slid over her debit card just so that Finn wouldn't have a say in her paying for their meal. Stubbornness was her quality trait after all! Although she preferred to call it "persistence".

A newbie! Finn liked this idea a whole heck of a lot. There were places in town that they could experience, but for flavors of the world the only real place was here at the amusement park. There was no way either of them could handle coming here everyday for something new to eat. They would probably die of diabetes within the week! "I think you'll like it, it's very...-Bold. Not like Mexican or Indian food though," he tried to explain. Any food is hard to describe properly without tasting it yourself. Finn himself never really thought he would like such diverse foods, which was why he hadn't tried them until recent months. Now that he had, occasionally he would get cravings for such random cuisine. "I can't really say actually," he replied with a shrug. It was pretty much true. He had spent so much time working after finding out he was supposed to be a dad that he hadn't had any real fun for a while. Taking a moment to think on the question, he sifted through all the years here; all filled with images of his wife. Perhaps his fondest memories were at the beach, where Bree felt so comfortable given her power over water. "I think the beach here is the best. The water is so clear and the atmosphere is so peaceful," his voice finally broke the silence. While there was nothing of excitement at the beach, no attractions, no vendors at every turn, there was your own fun to be made. Volleyball. Picnics. Surfing, which was something he really liked.

As the line grew shorter, their turn finally came and Finn smiled. Finally! Now he would be able to fill his belly! The young man grunted when he felt a jab to his side, rubbing the momentarysore spot before chuckling. Relying on him for a recommendation was both good and bad. He tended to eat like a pig, or so he'd been told. "Well if that's the case...Two greek fries, two gyros and two orders of falafel, " he ordered, his stomachgrowling fervently for food. He gestured towards a nearby picnic table for them to wait for their order, paying the bill of roughly $26. After he was done, he walked over to the table and took a seat. It wouldn't take them long to make but there was no reason to block the line while they waited. Looking over to Allix, Finn smiled as a thought came to mind. "It's not supposed to be blistering out tomorrow, we could rent some scuba gear and go to the beach. Or, stay inside with the skating rink?" he inquired, offering a few ideas. He hadn'tbeen scuba diving in years and he was actually terrible with ice skates, but there was plenty more if those suggestions were vetoed.
