Not only did Vanguard turn on the one flumph who looked like it was nearing on escaping it's icy bounds, but he turned on it with a fury apparently. He didn't so much stab at it as stab RIGHT THROUGH it, ice crackling furiously up from the ground along his spear and rooting the creature firmly in place.

Man. Apparently he was scary.

19 flumph4 - 22 damage, cursed, -2 to attacks for a turn
14 Sora - 20 damage, ongoing 5 acid damage (save ends)
14 Mercutio - +2 Ac for a turn
10 Fawks - 11 damage
9 Colbertron - 13 damage
4 Van - 15 damage, +1 ac, resist 5 cold, aura2 difficult terrain for enemies, ongoing 5 acid damage (save ends)

Fawks downs the gnome, then Colbertron and Van both bloody their flumphs of choice. But then, it turns out the gnome was only holding back the true fury of the flumphs! Three stabs at Van leave him with two wounds bubbling acid, and the fourth, outside tormenting sora, runs the little bird-man clean through with its stabby thing. Oh also, the three inside all hulk out and break themselves free of Van's ice like it's parchment, they're getting serious now that-

Why is that badger still standing?! The little creature once again manages to "shake off" getting killed, looks around and sees its master lying dead on the ground. The beast's eyes widen and, as if driven by some weird primal instinct it begins burrowing into the dirt and ice at its feet, making remarkable progress. Nearly as soon as it's out of sight into its newly formed burrow, a couple flagstones of the building begin to crack, in a line toward the gnome. The badger is digging straight through worked stone! Surfacing, it grabs the gnome's collar in it's teeth and then digs back down through worked stone, dragging his fallen friend with him. Sora can see a small line of upturned earth head west, past the boundary of the invisible wall. Holy crap, talk about your loyal minions.

MOVE ACTION

Brother Mercutio maneuvers past Colbertron and heads northeast, responding to hearing Sora cry (squawk?) out in pain. That, that wouldn't do at all.

STANDARD ACTION

"Hey flat white and tentacley, I have something you can suck on for a bit. I like to call it AVENGING LIGHT!!!"

my boon gives Flumph 2 thunder vulnerable 5 for a turn, a second boon from 1's death gives 3 thunder vulnerability

Colbertron drops back to the corner of the stage and calls out "It's just like the Great Yuri the Hunter!" BU-BOOOHH!! A blasting trumpets resounds form nowhere shaking the flumphs with its deafening noise. Colbertron is continuing a diatribe, but it can't be heard right away "... always with the fish. Truly, a man of the people."

13 thunder damage, and targets hit are deafened, Colbie gains 3thp for each flumph hit, either flumph takes 5 more damage for being vulnerable

That sound! Someone was hurting one of his friends!

But vanguard couldn't go and let these two get away to do the same. Shifting a step toward the alarmed sound, the ice grew and shifted around him. While he set his blank blue lights of eyes on the two flumphs beside him and pulled back his spear to strike again, his armor seemed to warp out of his sheer frustration, forming faces on his back and side facing Sora. Actually, it was all snarling and sneering and otherwise provoking faces, or the illusions there of in the armor, but the ice over it seemed to warp into sharp brows, noses, and maws of fangs where they appeared.

None of this actually did anything harmful, but his armor did let out a terrible shrieking howl echoing around the hut. It was just the flumph hurting his friend who was going to bear the full effect of displeasing Vanguard enough to stir his armor though.

Scary warforged indeed.
