Fawks downs the gnome, then Colbertron and Van both bloody their flumphs of choice. But then, it turns out the gnome was only holding back the true fury of the flumphs! Three stabs at Van leave him with two wounds bubbling acid, and the fourth, outside tormenting sora, runs the little bird-man clean through with its stabby thing. Oh also, the three inside all hulk out and break themselves free of Van's ice like it's parchment, they're getting serious now that-
Why is that badger still standing?! The little creature once again manages to "shake off" getting killed, looks around and sees its master lying dead on the ground. The beast's eyes widen and, as if driven by some weird primal instinct it begins burrowing into the dirt and ice at its feet, making remarkable progress. Nearly as soon as it's out of sight into its newly formed burrow, a couple flagstones of the building begin to crack, in a line toward the gnome. The badger is
digging straight through worked stone! Surfacing, it grabs the gnome's collar in it's teeth and then digs back down
through worked stone, dragging his fallen friend with him. Sora can see a small line of upturned earth head west, past the boundary of the invisible wall. Holy crap, talk about your loyal minions.
