"Yeah yeah . . ." Leora muttered sullenly and then sipped at her own cup. She hated how she liked the taste of blood but . . . there it was. "That's the same thing you said the FIRST time you tried to get me to change." she murmured.

"Well it's true, I love, I'm sure you will too." Lance said with a shrug. "But in your case, are you sure you can get near humans when your not thirsty and resist biting them? It's greater temptation when the blood is in greater amounts and the closer you get to it." He explain and sat down in a chair relaxing. "If you think you could do that, want to go for a swim?"

Leora shook her head a bit and placed her head in one hand. "I honestly have no idea if I can or not. I can try, but I don't know . . ." she said with a bit of a sigh.

"Well you did much better than I thought you would with the little bottle of blood, I hope you can." Lance said as he stood up and walked over to over to a walk-in closet that had his clothes inside."Well, get dressed and we can go swimming." He said as he closed the door and started to change.

Leora grabbed her suitcase and lifted it with less strength than she had needed to before. She pulled it into the bathroom and closed the door behind her before opening her suitcase, finding her bathingsuit and starting to change.

Lance changed into his bathing suit quickly and laid down on the couch to wait for his wife while he closed his eyes to get a little rest. He loved swimming. Since he was a vampire, and had extra strength, he could swim at incredible speeds, which he thought was much more fun than running.

Leora came out of the bathroom in a shirt and some shorts, both of which showed off her curves. Underneath, she wore her two piece swimsuit, which she wasn't quite ready to reveal yet. "So where are we going to swim?" she asked, wondering if he was thinking of the beach or the hotel's pool.

Lance opened his eyes and noticed how her outfit complimented her curves and smirked before answering. "How about the ocean? Much farther to swim than the pool. Or would you like to go to the pool?"He asked politely as he stood up and started walking toward the door.

Leora shrugged. "I like the ocean." she said as an answer. She wasn't really sure if she wanted to go to the ocean though . . . still . . . she had to know if she could control herself . . . Plus, she trusted Lance to keep her from biting anyone.

"Aright then, come on." He said opening the door for her. "And a last word of advice, don't get too close to anyone until your sure you can resist temptation." When he opened the door, faintly, he could smell a revolting scent, at least it was to vampires. There were werewolves here. Nothing Lance couldn't stand more, due to the blood feud between the vampires and the werewolves.

"Werewolves," He answered looking around for who it was giving off the awful smell of his enemies. "Not a single vampire I know is so much as friends with a werewolf, because there is a blood feud between us. We've been enemies for many centuries and shall continue to be." He explained to Leora as he got to the elevator and pressed the down button.

"That's just it, we can't get along, Leora. We're civilized and as long as we're not too thirsty, we can usually control ourselves and not kill our food. On the other hand, werewolves are animals, literally, and are bloody killers." He explained, from the vampire point of view, the view he thought she should see as well.
