I renamed it "Meh!" The actualy filename wasn't the anime - it was just the character's name, which probably owuldn't have told you too much anyways. Besides, looking at the file name is cheating. You shouldn't make a habit of that. wink

[2nd rant] also, you don't see me complaining about what kind of methods others use to find out information, and for all you know anyone could have just googled the web-page address and see what info comes up! you can hardly blame them for it though.. because they're using the information you gave them, and testing out different ways of gathering the answer from it! If you think that stopping people from using given information is wrong.. that's pretty much the same as giving them a maths formula to solve something, then penalize them for using the formula that you just taught them.
it also works vice versa. the point is, as long as the person only uses the information they're given - which is what I did -, then the working shouldn't matter as long as they get the right answer. I mean, would you honestly mark someone down in a maths paper for using a different formula to everyone else, even if they got the right answer? no, you wouldn't, because if they had the right answer, it proves that the work they did to get the answer was obviously the right working to do.
and if someone were to score a wrong answer, but uses the formula you expect them to use, would you give them the mark? no, because the answer is flawed, and that obviously shows that the working is flawed as well. my basic point is that you can't penalize someone because they have different work methods to other people.

btw: if you thought I was trying to be aggressive, or annoying, I wasn't. I just happened to find a good topic to rant about =B

t was a joking reply, hun - it didn't deserve three rants, no matter what your intentions were or not. I'm not "scared" of anyone's intellect or "jealous". It's just right clicking on a picture - anyone can do it. Besides, there's not information for anyone to find, because I make sure of it. Seriously, stop ranting please. stare
I was only pointing out that it was a guessing game, and that if you try to find out information by the caption, then it takes away allt he fun. Now, hunting for the answer? googling? Trying to recognize the art style? That's fun, and by all means use the resources available to you. Right-clicking is an easy, lazy way out, and ruins the fun for everyone. So have some fun! Make wild guesses! that's the point! ^^

I win./start discussion/. you don't win. you fail. it's not your job to criticize when someone has the intelligence to use what they're given to solve a problem. and whether you're guessing something, or inferring it, they're still both methods used to solve problems, and you can't change that fact. If I choose to use what I have to my advantage, it just shows that I'm more intelligent than half the people here, because I'm not being a sheep and blindly following rules that don't actually exist.... and so far, I haven't seen anything in this thread that says you can't use whatever method works best, including looking at the pictures filename, or for that matter, any rules that actually limit how you find where a picture came from. so can you still call it 'cheating' neutral ? *rhetorical question* once again, I state the following. you're just annoyed because you didn't think of doing it before, and you feel that it's cheating, because your 'imaginary rules' say it's cheating. /end discussion/ on that note, I'll stop ranting and try to guess where the picture came from! it looks like something that's ocean based... does it have anything to do with mermaids?
