Vaati put the cap on his head and smiled impishly. He flicked his wrist and suddenly, Ezlo was a hat again. "There, now you're not so old and fragile." Vaati mutter. "I made him smaller the time, he should a perfect fit." He added, using the air to move Ezlo from the bed and onto top of Opal's head.

Opal - Wind's Child____________________Opal sighed looking at Ezlo. "Well, at least things are back to normal Ezlo." She said, smiling, trying to look on the bright side of things, knowing he probably won't like being a Hat again. "Look at this Ezlo, you won't have to worry about getting around anymore... Maybe Vaati's doing you a favor." She said, looking at Vaati and smiled.

"Exactly." Vaati murmured, putting the plate aside. "It works for you. So deal with it." He spoke the last part in Minish, wondering if Opal could get it.
"I thought you don't like to be reminded you're Minish, so why did you speak Minish?" Ezlo asked, replying back to Vaati in Minish as well.
"Why not?" Vaati answered.

Opal - Wind's Child____________________Opal blinked her eyes, looking at the two and cocking her head. She started to mutter what they were saying under her breath, as if she was trying to adapt to the new language. "Huh?" She said, managing to slip into Minish. She quickly covered her mouth. (Yeah, one of her 'abilities' is able to adapt to new things, for language for example. She didn't know a wink of English when she came to earth. Once one person spoke to her, she just muttered what he said, and viola! She could speak English... but she adapts to it so it's something she speaks... now she speaks Minish now.)

"Huh! She does get it..." Vaati murmured thoughtfully to himself. He looked up to see Ezlo staring at him with an unimpressed look.
"You were just testing her?"
"Yeah, nothing-" His eyes crossed as he placed his hand over his mouth and coughed. Blood spilled onto his silk tunic. Vaati coughed even more, though the blood couldn't be kept in his hand.

Vaati didn't answer, but one eye glanced back at her. He stayed quiet for several minutes, and after determining the fact he probably wouldn't cough again, he used a quick spell to clean all the blood off. The amount of blood disturbed him slightly.

Opal - Wind's Child____________________Opal looked at him frightened. Was this was from the curse that Dark and Darious put on him... or could it be the fact... that death was trying to drag him back. Tears welded up in her eyes just thinking of the thought of loosing Vaati again.

Vaati coughed once more, but his expression changed into something more curious. He picked through his blood to find a small metal object. He looked at the end of his fork, where a piece was messing. How strange... He thought to himself. Somehow, he bit a small piece of the fork off. How was that possible?

Opal - Wind's Child____________________Opal looked at the fork, then at the metal object in the blood. Was that what was making him cough up blood? She almost sighed in relief, but she quickly touched the hat. She wished that whatever the metal had cut was healed. There was a flash as Vaati stopped coughing up blood. "Sorry... I won't touch it again..." She murmured, still speaking in Minish.

"You don't have to keep speaking Minish." Vaati murmured, cleaning the blood with his magic. He picked up the fork and through out the window, breaking the glass. "STUPID FORK!" Vaati shouted after it. It made him feel better.

"What's so funny?" Vaati asked, obviously irritated. That fork could ended his life in his imagination. He wasn't in the condition to cough up so much blood.
Ezlo sighed. Vaati was being Vaati... it kind of irritated him too.
