Although Tam is grateful for the return of his dignity, he is thoroughly ready to return to bed once he is through. Collapsing on his side he curls up with a groan and a self-directed laugh. "Never hae I felt so helpless..." he grumbles good naturedly.

Tam doses while he reads, not really asleep, but in a half-dreram state, listening to the story and follwoing it in his head, only to be interrupted by a loud grumbling from his nether regions. He opens his eyes with a sigh, "Any soup left?" he asks hopefully. And so it goes for a hand of days, finally he is n the mend, and except for the wings, which now itch more than hurt, he is doing fine.

*Hopian, though, is waiting...knowing Kero....which he does very well....Tam is going to try something stupid, just like his little charge would have...but at least he could eat solid foods now...and while he couldn't walk unaided, he could walk*

Then one day, following a nice mid-day nap, Hope wakes up to an empty cottage. No Tam in sight.

And finds him lying sprawled across his own bed upstairs. He had wanted something from under his bed and hadn't wanted to wake Hopian, only now he is completely worn out and too frightened to try and climb back down on his own. Seeing the lion, he flashes him a weak grin. "Um... Hope... ye look a tad bit angry... something wrong?"

Tam flashes him a funny look and pats the bed beneath him. Naw... I think ye got yer tops mixed up with yer bottoms... no wonder Fortuny gets so frustrated with ye.." He winks with a mischievous grin.
