Tam nods against his pillow. "Wis I could get comfortable... I normally sleep on my side, true, but I tend to move around a lot... ask Kero. He like to complain I'm out to kick him from the bed."

"I'd appreciate that a lot." says Tam quietly. "I suspect, I'm going to be a bit bored, lying here. I'm tired... but not at all sleepy. Now I know how Kero felt when he fell from his pony."

Tam smiles sleepily. "Naw... don't catch yer normal everyday illnesses... but I do suffer from psychic or magical ones. Had a hell of a time getting that across to Shar and Kero back when he began to emerge as a void mage and broke through my spell block. Here I was sniffling all over the place, feeling so miserable and achy... and they all thought I had the flu... and what I really was suffering from was magical backlash. It took Mica a few days to figure it out, but once he did, boy did he ever tell them off."

Tam shakes his head. "Oh, I'm sure they'll pop up... probably when ye lest expect them to do so... Actually I'm kind of curious myself... By my reconning Shar should have been down here daily... Sometimes I feel like one of her prized specimens. And to catch me for more than a few minutes in this form would have been something she'd have given her eye teeth for."

"Actually, I was knocking on the door, but no one was answering, so I let myself in." comes a voice from the doorway.

"Don't do what?" says Shar flippantly, walking over to the bed. "Scare ye out of yer skin..? Had ye not been complaining about me so loudly, ye might have heard me come in. What if I had been a burglar?"

She rests a hand on the side of Tam's neck for a bit, closing her eyes, then nods and asks him to roll to his stomach. "I need to check the splints. I would love to know what these things are made of. They are so light... but I bet they feel like lead weights to you, m'sirra."

Tam mutters an agreement and yanks the blanket up to around his waist as he rolls. "And then some..." he grumbles, wincing slightly as she carefully moves them about.

Shar shrugs... "There really isn't much anyone can do right now... Talesian's healing is in the hands of time." She helps him to roll back to his side and smiles. "You'll be happpy to know yer not sick..."

Tam rolls his eyes at this and sighs.

"Neither are ye a cripple, though your movements are going to be handicapped for a time. So you really don't need me looking after you. One of the reasons I haven't been down. I've better things to do than babysit yer behind. Anyway. I came down today to se if you were up yet. And now seeing that ye are, I'm changing yer care instructions a bit."

She looks at Hopian and smiles. "Get him up and about starting tomorrow. Make him move, but don't over do it. To the water closet and back or to his chair by the fire should be enough for now. But have him repeat this several times a day. He'll be getting stronger by the day. Will probably be driving ye crazy by week's end, chafing at the bit. As for food. Go easy at first. Soft solids at first and small amounts, but as much as he wants, over all. He's probably starved."

"The he in question is lying right here, ye know. You could be telling this to me as well." grumbles Tam from the bed.

Shar shrugs.."Iffin ye had a way of grinding it up he could have almost anything... meat... grains... what have ye. Trouble is, he tries to eat that right now and he's going to cramp something terrible... probably throw it back up at ye as well. Think easily digestible and ye'll do fine. Like I said, he's not sick... but he has been without solid food for several days now. In a day or two, he should be back to normal in that area... Same with his strength... he just needs to get his land legs so to speak... Oh.. and I was informed through a odd letter addressed to Mica that I should tell ye, m'sirra... no morphing... nope... nix... nada... nyet. That is a direct quote, by the way. It was unsigned but I suspect you may know who it was that wrote it."

Tam sighs and rolls his eyes. "I've got aperson in mind... yea... and he'd say it like just like that, too."

Shar smiles at them both and gathers up her cloak. "Any more questions... ye know where to find me if you need me... don't think you will though... Oh... Talesian, I'll return after 6 or seven weeks to check things out. Until then, do not remove those splints, under no circumstances,,, capiche?"
