[lol luckily I do not have to worry about that right now..]
Eri could barely control her actions. She still had her mind in tact, but she was hungry, and she needed to eat...NOW. She tried to stop as she began walking towards Nikita, and soon enough, she stopped herself, standing there silently. Suddenly she grabbed her head and fell yo her knees again, her skin going a pinkish ashy color. She looked up at Nikita, one eye open, as she internally fought off the virus. "Ni...ki...ta..." She said, her breathing hard. She looked in pain as she shakily tried to get up, falling a few times. "I..N..Need...to..." Before she could finish, her eyes went blank for a moment, but she blinked and shook it off. "I..n-need to...get out of here....." She walked towards the window again shakily. "I...can't make you...sick..." She turned and smiled painfully. "R..Right now....I don't know...What I might do..... and...A-Ada would kill me a-anyway....." She grabbed her head and yelled in pain. "I-I need to... I need to--" she grabbed her head and fell to the ground, her skin returning to a pale, greyish pink that it was before she turned. her antibodies raging war against the virus.

"Copy of the floor plan?" Nina repeated, leaning her head gain her hand as to think clearer. "Hmmm... Well... We could search the internet. But if we find nothing on the internet we can always send out a search party..." She mumbled to herself out loud. "That could work!" She finally said convincing herself enough. "We'll have three walkie-talkies... One I have," she said poitn down to her front pocket. "The other Kalila's group has, and the last one Jainy has!" She said with a smile. Jain never did like being called Jainy... But it was funny to Nina. "Each group when split up will take a walkie-talkie. The group that gets rid of the zombies on the inside of the store will also try to find other exits and thus, inform the barricading group. Once the barricading group is done with all the enterances already known about they could get the newly discovered ones next. The defending group would keep the other zombies out from the enterances not covered yet." She said tapping her foot on the ground. It helped her think clearer. She took out her zombie attack survial book one more time and scanned through some specific pages. "If their is an enterance to the roof it'll be highly needed for water and rescue sign purposes..." She mumbled and then continued reading. She nodded once to prove, "Yes... that is what it says in the book." She put it away.
On a lighter note, Crimson answered Garath's information about the Tiramisu. Nina smiled. "That's pretty much all I know too." She said with a laugh. "It's an Italian dessert, it chockful of caffine, and it's really good." She said with another smile.
Nina looked around at the group once more. No one was deciding which group they wanted to be in and it was nice to know not everyone was picky. "Well... What about groups then?" She said standing up from the table and walking around the table like a commanding officer. "Before everyone decides you guys should probably know this... We need strong people to be barricaders... And I mean strong as in Strength- like muscles- Muy fuerte. None of that 'But my will is strong' bullsh*t. I know your will may be strong, but willpower alone with not move isles and heavy boxes." She stated harshly, but the smile on her face kind of ruined the effect. "The defending people will be protecting the enterances while the barricaders are at work. So here we need people who are really good aimers. You know... Get a shot right in a pinch." She said crossing her arms. "You know... If a zombies arm is flailing in a doorway next to a person cementing an isle to the floor... We need to know you can indeed shoot the flailing arm and not the person barricading." Nina said. "The people exterminating on the inside need to be fast... You know agility. I need it so the zombies on the inside can't reach the barricaders. Most likely sword users will have to be on the inside." She said thinking about Jain, Kalila, and Nicholas's skill with swords. They'll also need to think smart on their feet. You know... Be able to wipe out the walkie-talkie in the middle of fighting and tell the barricading group there are more enterances in the other part of the building..." she trailed off looking at her feet. She looked up to the group still sitting at the table. "So... What group you wanna be in?" She asked with a sheepish grin.

Mizuki heard a thump and a strange metallic rippling sound that coupled with a dull and hollow thump. The ripple was kind of like when you wobble a thin sheet of metal like they used to do in school. Mizuki did not have the time to contemplate that this strange concoctions of sounds he had just heard was the onion bomb hitting a billboard depicting some jumped up egomanic on a powertrip, wearing a painfully overbearing fascade of a jovial friendliness and otherwise amiable good nature. No. He was spared these specualtions by the sounds that followed split seconds after. His skin crawled. It's actually ********' moving. In his lower stomach, something with the consistancy of a mass of writhing eels moving through icy and turbulant waters. The skin on his back and the nape of his neck seemed to slither. A whole host of screeches of varying natures erupted from the darkness around them. Some in the distance, nearer the bomb, sounded triumphant - even excited. But that wasn't those that had got his freaked out to the point his skin fought to flee from his bones. No. Only a few metres away, there came the sounds of others. Mizuki felt himself go cold with dread. There were so many. And these weren't shouts and calls of excitement. Not by a long shot. Even now, certain excreted scents were reaching him carried by a wind that he could no longer feel. Territoral - a strong pungent scent that brashly knocked against the senses. It inspired aggression and conflict. He felt his left eye twitch slightly in the corner. Far from feeling any of these - he just felt cool, slick terror. The sheer force of these offensive smells, at such a close range, without fully understanding what they were exactly and why they made him feel this way - least of all how he'd noticed them at all - had the effect of making Mizuki feel near ill with shock. He could feel the sting of bile at the back of his throat, his jaw hanging open - the muscles operating there completely ignoring his brains feverish demands. He wondered if the others would pick up on these scents these feelings. The answer to this came all to easily. No. He blinked at this certain and previously unknown assurance. And why? Because he was different. He was infected. No matter how you looked at it. He was a carrier and therefore had to be infected for the virius to live inside him. He just had a different strain of it.
Still. This assurance that no one else would pick up on these scents was no real assurance at all. If anything, it worried him further. What worried him most however - was the sheer stench of it. Something that odourous had to be coming from more than one creature. Hell, more than five. And if his limited, but reliable, knowledge of these allies was correct - they were not that far away. The sounds had come from the other side of building he had been leaning against before. The ally he was currently facing down ended in a dead end, conviniantly enough, at the edge of that wall. It would be the small compound just behind that, now seemingly fragile, barrier of bricks that the Crazies would be howling in. Trouble was - that compound was connected with this very ally way. It opened up a good 100metres odd down from where they were currently posistioned. This did not bode well. The liklihood was, if they were heading for the smell of the onion - and the other calls, they would not come out in that opening - instead follow the allies round to where they came out a block away. But there was always the chance that they might take a detour. If that happened - they were ********. The Crazies would smell them before they could see them and be on them before they had any real time to prepare. Mizuki concentrated on his heart, which was thudding away in his chest and willed it to slow before he went into cardiac arrest. It seemed to take the hint.
He heard footsteps coming towards him and was calmed by the thought of Kalila approaching. It would be nice to have a bit of support, even if she didn't realise she was giving it to him. However, when he turned and spotted David he felt the cold eels of fear in his stomach lash and contort, turning hot with mounting anger. David explanation did nothing to ease that growing sense of aggravation - nor did the look in his eyes, which Mizuki understood crystal clear despite seeing it through two sets of Goggles' lens'. "That was not the plan, and was so for a reason." He grunted under his breath, not wanting David to hear but at the same time not really giving a toss if he did. He didn't like David. He liked Alex. From first impressions he seemed like a nice enough kid. But David knew too much and that from the offset turned Mizuki against him. He rolled his shoulders gruffly and found himself looking over David's shoulder and down the ally way. He couldn't quite make out where the ally way that the Crazies could travel opened on to this. Well, not specifically. It was too dark. But his eyes did trace the area he estimated it to be with a sullen foreboding and growing dread. His fear, for the most part, had been momentarily shadowed with irritation. Mizuki grit his teeth together, the expression on his face, behind its adornments, was dark. His posture now seemed to secreet agitation. Whereas moments before it had been rigid with fear, now he held himself in a way that was subonciously aggressive. He did so without fully twigging that he was. His shoulders were hunched, his biceps flexed, his feet slightly apart on the ground heels dug in - his jaw line set. He cast his eyes up to where he could see Kalila, Alex and Nicholas stood, all of them facing this direction. What are they waiting for a ******** written invitation? he found himself thinking bitterly. Then it occured to them they actually were. Mentally stumbling and feeling slightly output he raised a silent hand and beckoned them down.
When they finally did come down the ladder he had to restrain himself fom marching over to Kalila and having a go. That wouldn't solve anything. Plus, he knew that if he did then most of it would simply be him venting his frustration. He knew that once he started he wouldn't stop. He would end up yelling at her, screaming at the hoplessness of his own personal situation as well as everyone elses. He could feel it teasing at the back of his mind. He rolled his shoulders gruffly and cast Kalila and long and analysing look. He wondered why she had chosen to go against his judgement. He cocked his head to the side slightly. He had thought it all out to make sure that each individual was safe. He wanted her in the middle because out of the lot of them she was at a disadvantage. As skilled as she was with that blade of hers - it would be safer and more wise to use a gun on these creatures because it could be done from a safe-ish distance. She, unlike all others, lacked a gun. Hence it would be wise to have he lead and flanked by those that did. He chewed his lip piercing, comforted by the snag of his flesh. A short burst of stinging pain that swiftly faded to nothing. As soon as he saw Kalila's goggled face turn to his he immediately latched his eyes on to hers. Stupid really, in the dark he couldn't be sure that he had hold of her eyes or not. But he felt pretty sure he did. In the way he felt a tingle at the back of his neck. Mizuki always had had the uncanny ability to transfix people with gazes. He'd inherited that little trick from his mother. He was using that to full effect now. It was designed to lure Kalila into confronting him, so he was less obvious. It wouldn't go down well if he was seen going storming over to her. Perking a brow he didn't relinquish the stare, merely intensified it. He needed all the staredown power he had to pull this off in the dark - he also had to rely on the fact that Kalila would react as he wished her too. By some divine miricale she did so. Almost nervously she walked closer to him. He closed the gap between them in a few fluid strides. "I didn't spell out the intended formation for fun you know, Kalila." His voice was a hushed whisper, not only because he was still very concious about where they were and what dangers they faced - but also because these words were meant for her ears and her ears only. "I spelled it out as such for your safety. You are the only one without a gun, Kalila. As awesome as you are with that thing," He tapped the hilt of her katana gently with a gloved hand that all but melted in with the darkness around them, "close range combat with these things isn't a good idea, especially in such confined spaces. It'd be best if you were in the middle, as set it, with David tailing." His voice was neither harsh but neither was it completely calm. The next bit of information he did have a bit fo trouble getting out: "David should be at the back because he is more than copetant with a gun." That bit of complimentary wording in David's favour left a sour taste on Mizuki's tongue. He grunted and ran his hand through his hair in that irritable mannerism that he had a habit of doing. "But now this has all been turned on its head I still suggest you follow just behind me and David. I feel bad about leaving the boys at the back." True, especially now knowing that a groupd of angry Crazies could come out up our asses at any moment. "But Nick is more than capable. Alex too. Whilst you are also capable - you lack the right weaponry, therefore are most vunerable. I suggest you stay close behind us too but leave room between you and the boys at the back just in case. I also suggest that you do not further disregard my suggestions." He nodded softly and turned back toward the head of the group. He felt slightly guilty for being like that with Kalila, but with fear and agitation weighing heavily on his mind he found that he did not feel as bad as he would under other circumstance. He still hoped that she didn't begrudge him his concern. With Kalila now stationed near the head of the group he felt slightly better. It was nice to have someone near by whom he wasn't in constant subliminal warfare with. He rolled his shoulders gruffly and then walked back to the front, begrudgingly taking a place in line with David. Without saying a word, he held a hand above his head and indicated with two fingers for them to follow suite, as he then gripped his gun tightly, hunkered down and began to slink forwards. He reminded himself of a character on the war games he used to play. Particularly Gears of War. He remembered how you could get good ol' Fenix to hunker down and run, and duck behind obstacles and fire blindly over them. But this was not a game. This was real life, as much as that little fact gnawed at his fragile sanity. It was so much easier just to let yourself believe this was all just some big game. He'd wake up to the smell of his mothers cooking, hear his fathers voice calling from the living room about the training exercises he had planned for that day . . .
Blessedly, the next turn off was empty. He called for the others to stop and started forwards to check it out, not protesting if David followed suit. Instead he allowed the older male to investigate as much as himself. By now his night vision had kicked in properly. He needed it. Full night was catching up on them faster and had now fully settled down. This ally was the one that lead on onto the open street. The one where the gun store was. Moonlight flitted through that opening, illuminating it and all inside within a few foot radius before the darkness that hung so thickly from wall to wall took over. Two dark openings stood out, stark inky black against the smokey grays that the walls had now become thanks to his eyes constantly adapting to the dark. Feeling his throat go dry, his shock and fear from earlier still nagging on the fringes of his mind, he went forwards to inspect them. Much as he had done before, he threw his back against the wall, [much harder than he had intended, he thought, as his heart and lungs seemed to be thrown forwards into his rib cage on impact] and raised his gun. Shrugging off the dull ache in his torso, he side stepped towards the first opening. Poking his head around he heard no shrieks of discovery. Though nothing such as abrasive scents of earlier battered his senses, a new putrid stench reached his nostrils. He sucked in a sharp breath and tried in vain to close his nostrils too it. It was a stench that he instantly recognised. Like old fish. Rot and Decay. As he leant his head further round the smell hit him harder. Gritting his teeth he jumped into the ally opening and aimed his gun at the patch of darkness before him. Nothing. But that didn't make him feel any better. He turned briefly on heel and marched over to the adjascent opening and aimed the shot gun barrells into the ominous blackness. Nothing moved. He strained his ears and, beyond the buzz of music which was louder now than before, he could hear another strange buzz. Much quiter and much closer. Behind him. Deciding that the ally before him was empty and void of acitivity, he turned back to the first and decided to inspect it further. With each step into the void two things happened: The stench of rotting became stronger, more unbearable. The gentle buzz became louder and more frenzied. A short way ahead of him he could make out a bundled heap strewn across the floor, jagged protrusions sticking skywards at odd angles. Garbage - he assumed - until a sudden realisation so harsh and so terrible hit him that he almost stumbled. What lay, now, only perhaps two foot from his feet - was a corpse. It had been here for a while, he noted, from the smell. For some reason, he knew not why and would later regret, he took a step forwards. The sole of his foot connected with somthing with the consistancy of near dry tar. Thick and gluttonous, it surged up about the grips of his shoes and fought weakly to fuse him to the floor. He bit back an exclaimation of suprise and ripped his foot backwards. As it came loose a strong waft of rancid decompositon came with it, shooting through the gauze of Mizuki's mask as he breathed inwards. His nostrils burnt with the intensity of it, his eyes stinging as they began to water. Acrid bile began to rise in his throat. He knew at once the reasoning behind it all. Whomever this poor soul had been, they had not just been killed. They had been smeared. His eyes darted backwards and forwards to the dark splatters he could now make out on the walls - distracted by the aggressive little black bodies of the flies that now clouded the air en mass, angered that their food had been disturbed. Mizuki forced himself to swallow and hastily backed out of the ally, though he knew the smell would be resounding about his senses for while yet. He looked at the others, figures in the gloom, and nodded to show that all was safe, before heading off in his hunched and careful creep towards the main exit and onto the street.

Garth considered. He knew he had no skill with guns and siming at something without any practice would probalby make him more likly to hit an ally rather then a zombie. He wasn't that fast but he could think on his feet. Also he was fairly strong from doing tai kwon do. So that meant he should be in either the extermintation or the baricading group. "I know I can't shoot as I've never done it before so I'll volenteer for either the extermintation group or the baricading group. Which ever one needs more people." He wanted to be in the extermintation group but he would go in which ever one needed more people.

Kalila and Nicholas stood on either side of the ladder looking down at Mizuki for a signal. Nicholas was blinking very slowly, as if he was very tired or very bored. Kalila was very confused as to why Mizuki wasn't waving them down when a few seconds later he did. Kalila went first, dropping down the ladder more then actually climbing down. The glaves enabled good grip and without the burning of friction. Nicholas came down after her. He climbed down very quickly because he was happy he had something to again, he could feel the need to survive coursing through him again. Alex came down afterwards. Kalila could feel the bass of the music more intensely on ground level. In fact... She could even identify the song. It was indeed a metal song. She quickly flicked her head back to Nicholas smiling, even though her mask covered it. Nicholas nodded in return. He was laughing silently to himself. As soon as all three of them were down, Mizuki gave Kalila a look, and it ruined the pleasant surprise of knowing the song that was playing. Now, she couldn't make out the details but she knew he was pissed. Dammit... What I do? She asked herself. She tried to cast it off as her "imagination" and how she couldn't see anything anyway so it was all in her head. But... there was no getting rid of it. He wanted her to come to him. Reluctantly, shyly, and fearfully she wandered over to him. He spoke and Kalila gulped. To tell the truth Kalila and sent them down in a different order because she thought they could shuffle to proper order afterwards. She, personally, didn't want Mizuki by himself on the ground. So she sent the one who was the best fighter out of them all, minus Mizuki since he was the one who needed the help. That "best fighter," next to Mizuki, was David. Plus... She really did want the equivalence in fighting styles. She listened silently and intently as Mizuki spoke. Her foot was swooshing back and forth in a twisting motion on the ground and she stared at it. The whole thing was like the way a child being disiplined. He tapped the katana at her waist and she decided that looking at him as he spoke might have been a better decision. She was blushing in embarrassment and a slight feeling of failing someone you think of as important to you.
Nicholas watched from a few feet away as Kalila looked like she was getting yelled at by a bully. Mizuki seemed to be talking heatedly to her. So she disobeyed your plan... Big deal. Your plan wasn't that great. He sneered in his head. But of course he didn't really know what he was talking about. It was mostly his favoring of Kalila over other human beings. "But you know..." Nicholas whispered to Alex as Mizuki continued to talke to her. "If I could be the one to plan it... I would have it so it was me, Kalila, and David in the back and you and Mizuki in the front, you know?" He said with a smirk, though again through the mask it couldn't be seen. "Your dad's got skill and me and Kalila not so much... So we would be a group... Maybe in an arrow formation with David as the point in the back." He said shifting his rifle a little bit. "Mizuki's better then you... No offense. But you ain't bad yourself so you guys could be up front..." He trailed off, rather proud of his plan.
"I'm sorry..." Kalila whispered back urgently as he finished speaking. "I won't, I promise. But... I just wanted to make sure you had someone else to depend on before we all came down... Just incase something went wrong, you know. I didn't want to leave you alone and I know me or Nicholas would not be good enough to help you if something did go wrong..." She said very quickly, her words mashing together at times. "It's not that I think you're not good enough to protect yourself... It's just that no one could protect themselves surrounded... No one could be safe if they were caught off guard." She added even quieter, but slower. "I also thought that if we really needed to we could shuffle back to our original plan. But... Nicholas and Alex are younger than me." She stated looking back at the floor. You couldn't tell by looking at Alex, but he was younger. "I wanted to protect them... I also figure the back might have been safer because the onion bomb would have lead things away from the enterance of this ally..." She stated pointing behind her. "I also thought that having a blade expert on each side might have been a could thing." She said looking up at Mizuki once more. "I thought that having a gun in a narrowed ally would be a bad thing... If anyones aim was off just by a little bit a ricochet might do us damage to us amongst our own group. Also... It be louder and attract more attention. A blade would be quiet and safe in the sense of a wide forward range of attack. Narrow or not a zombie wouldn't be able to get past." She tried to prove a point. She was trying to prove that she hadn't done what she did out of pure stupidity... She had a reason behind it. All of these walls weren't smooth. There were made of brick, there were some windows, there were gutter pipes, there was even metal bars that protected winds as well as to staircases and firescapes. "But... I'm wrong... I'm sorry." She mumbled again, since Mizuki had proven his point. She had diobeyed Mizuki's orders so many times now she wondered why he didn't smash her head into a wall yet. If I were in the military... They would have kicked me out for disobeying orders a long time ago... her mind mused for an instant. In the back of Kalila's head this "yelling" at felt pretty good. It established the line of authority that she was subconciously freaking out over the missingness of. Plus the way Kalila was attracted Mizuki intensified a little bit at being dominated. This little bit of emotion was finding outlet by the clenching and loosening, clenshing and loosening of her fist as Mizuki was speaking to her.
Nicholas looked back to the two authority figures in his life right now to see Kalila finish up what she was saying. Mizuki moved on and signaled them militarily to move forward. Nicholas laughed to himself quietly as he held his gun in ready position. He had shown Kalila the meaning of those signals a couple days prior just for the hell of it. He knew a lot of them from video games and just plain research. The group moved forward and Nicholas followed suit. Ironically the video game that came to Nicholas's mind as well had been Gears of War. It was for the same reasons as Mizuki, plus the ginginess of the ally, the darkness of the allyway, and the grouping they all walked in. We even have in game music... He thought, trying really hard not to bust out laughing. The music that had been sounding got lauder and louder at they approached their destination. Kalila tailed Mizuki and David, a hand placed firmly on the hilt of the katana on her hip, ready to whip it out if anything went astray. Kalila found irony in how their steps seemed to match the beat of the music. Music was usually just a thing for entertainment. But, Kalila found that the music, since it was pretty hard stuff and it was stuff she liked actually had her more pumped and ready for anything then she would be without it. She was still very scared, pearing behind herself every few steps to make sure her brother and one of her best friends were ok. But still, she would calculate at least a quarter of her fear had vanished thanks to the music.
The seriousness of the situation slapped Nicholas in the face when the sickest smell he could think of travelled into his nose. He actually did throw up a tiny bit, but managed to swollow it down before it came any higher then the front of his esophagus. Kalila on the other hand actually gagged twice but stopped herself from throwing up. She slide a hand under her mask to cover her nose. Kalila was never good at taking smells. Neither sibling had noticed the buzzing since both of them were concentrating on the music. Mizuki was ahead of them and actually went on ahead in some places and came back. He disappeared from their view for a short bit, in the direction the smell seemed to be coming from. Kalila removed her hand from under the mask and was on complete guard for something to happen... That is whe she heard the buzzing for the first time. Kalila was someone who was scared sh*tless of bugs... More so then death and more so then zombies or these infected. She identified the noise as bugs and immediatley took five steps back and wait for Mizuki to resurface from the darkness. Her eyes had adjusted to the dark, but at the moment he was just too far away to see. Nicholas still hadn't heard the buzzing, thus almost panicked when he saw his older sister back up like that. But, no one else moved, no even David. So he figured Kalila was just being paranoid about the safety of her crush.
Mizuki came back and Kalila sighed in relief. They were officially headed to the main exit of the tunnel-like "system" of allyways. Kalila pushed ahead a little bit to equal the fronting of Mizuki and David. Indeed the music was as pure as ever. The lyrics could finally be made out, the entirity of it could be heard, not just the deep far travelling bass. They were very close to the gun store now. In fact, Kalila actually heard a couple bullets go off. She twitched in surprise from the realization. Oh God... Are we too late? Did someone raid the store already...? the pessimistic side of her whined loudly in her head. But way beyond the sound of the bullets from earlier, but not equal to the music was moaning, groaning, screeching, shreiking, growling, and many more animalistic noises the infected usually let come out of there mouths. As realization hit Kalila her eyes widened dramatically. She quickly backed off a little bit from the front. The first think the registered to Nicholas was the noises. He gripped his gun painfully hard. He didn't like religion one bit, but he did believe in one thing. He was a definate monotheist. He prayed to that one powerful being for survival of this group... But bargianed if he could only get a couple of people in the group let it be him and his sister. Those prayers and thoughts were completely thrown out when a surge of adrenaline pumped through him. "What do we do?!" He whispered ugently to the group. "There are as many zombies out there as the hordes on freakin' movies..." He mumbled. "There are living people at that gun store..." Kalila piped up. "We have to signal them somehow." She said wiping a hand down her cheek in a stressed manner. "The only thing possible seems to be a straight run through and hope we live..." She mumbled to herself. She looked up to the two oldest of the group., reapeating her little brother's question with her eyes.

[[Do yall think your posts were long enough? 0_o]] David gritted his teeth as he watched Mizuki and Kalila argue. Kalila was far from winning however. David grabbed mizuki's shoulder, "Don't chew her head off... It was a good plan." He said. David hated one sided fights, it had always been this way. As Mizuki and Kalila spoke, Alex listened to Nicholas. "That's actually not a bad plan..." Alex said, watching his dad stick his nose in other people's buisness. David followed beside mizuki, and Alex in the rear. Both of them came to an immediate stop as the smell ingulfed their entire being. David, who was good at dealing with smells, just stood there. Alex however was not so lucky. Alex had nearly fallen over from the shock. Then David focused more on the music. Ahh man... no country? David thought, smiling at how much of a redneck it made him sound. Alex and David both jumped at the sound of bullets. David gripped his dagger in one hand, and one of his uzies in the other. Alex pulled out his smith & wesson, and got ready for anything. David chuckled as he listened to Nicholas. Then listened to kalila. "How do you propose we get their attention?" David said. David smiled, and pulled out his uzie. "Finally a plan I can get behind!" He said, adrenaline pumping. He looked over at mizuki to see what he thought. David looked over at mizuki, then looked at his gun. Aw man, lucky, I wish I had a shotgun... He thought. Curse my inner redneck... He thought again, this time with a chuckle. "What are we waiting for, lets go kick some infected as*!" He said, resisting the urge to just run straight in alone. Dammit dad. Alex thought, shaking his head.

Mizuki had barely listened to Kalila's opinions on the matter. The truth of the matter was that his manhood had been compromised the moment his authority was. Had he not been so pig-headed and egotistical he would have found Kalila's points of argument to be more than just valid - so much as pure ********' genius on many a level. Had this been another time, when Mizuki was in a better mood he would have grinned brightly at her suggestions, ruffled her hair playfully and apologised for being such a d**k. Now however his mood was governed by fear and a desperation to be strong so dire that every little thing that contradicted it - including his own panic - was making him foul tempered. A foul temper that was only increased to a near level of lunacy when David had touched his shoulde and offered his words of most unwanted wisdom to the matter at hand. It wasn't exactly like Mizuki had been biting her head off, much as he was tempted too [for no fault of her own - he was just in one b***h of a mood and was ready to blow at anyone] infact, he thought he'd been quite sincere.
His mood had later become less aggressive upon the discovery of the corpse. He had emmerged from the ally to find the others suffering also. He grinned shark like behind his mask as the thought hit him; Wonder what they'd feel like if they had what I have on the bottom of their shoe. A random bubble of laughter, that he was not quite sure was all that sane, began to climb his throat, tickling it causing his eyes to water all the more. He raised his hand to the mask out of habit and coughed lightly in attempt to hide this brief and questionable amusement. Mizuki had begun to feel a little strange since emering from that ally way. Thinking on it, as they neared the end of this tunnel work of allyways, heading [ironically] into the light - Mizuki could not quite describe this strange sensation that was washing against him in gentle waves. Giddy? Yes. That would be the nearest to what he was feeling right now. His whirlwind of negative emotions, dominated by fear had reached their pinicle in that ally way. The moment he had realised that his foot had just sunk into a puddle of bodily fluids, scraped flesh and innards - liquidised and mixed into a noxious concoction under the baking sun for numerous days . something inside him had momentarily slipped. It was not so much a snap and something inside him overbalancing and tumbling out of place. It occured to him that whilst he had not lost his mind completely - he had lost part of his grasp on reality. He felt as if he were slightly drunk. The joints of his jaws tingled tantalisingly causing his mouth to be pulled into a constant grin of sheer glee. Laughter, mostly unfounded, tickled the back of his throat like a cough - irritating his eyes.
As if prompted by their arrival at the edge of the ally, screams rose above the sound of music. Harsh hollars of bloodlust and carnage that battered their ear drums, rising louder and louder as if in defiance to the music that had drawn them to this point. Across the street, in the arms store, there was sheer bloody chaos. In the dark squares of the windows he could make out the flashes of bullets being let off. If he concentrated he could tell how many of those shots hit their marks by checking if a Death Screech resounded seconds after the shot was fired. He slapped a hand hard across the front of his mask as he tried to stifle a giggle. His eyes flashed in the moonlight. His pupils mere pinpricks. Awh, a Party! Par-tee! 'Zuki my dear boy, you'll get yourself killed. Silence you! Didn't ye know, I'm infallable! The second voice, the one of reason, seeming to mentally shake its metaphorical head and dissappear into the deeper recesses of his concious mind. Mizuki fought off the urge to punch the air triumphantly. Without realising it as such, his foot was tapping the ground in time to the bass line.
It took him a few moments before he realised that the others were talking to him. He turned to David and cocked his head to the side in an over dramatic manner - behind his mask his face was split from ear to ear with a wide and manic grin. Now, now Zuuk. Get serious. Poker face! His face became set like stone. Vacant and expressionless. Only the certain glint in his optics seemed to give the hint that Mizuki was currently suffering a mental relapse. He reached up and tapped his mask in the comical matter a cartoon detecive might tap his chin when considering a theory or plan of advance. "Kick infected a**, you say?" He muttered quietly. He seemed to be rolling the idea off his tongue. "What we need," He said slowly, turning to face the group, "Is a distraction!" He grinned brightly at the idea. For the briefest of moments he could see himself running down the streets windmilling his arms and hollaring at the top of his voice as ranks of decrepid and nasty little blighters swarmed out of the surrounding areas. Mizuki grinned. He must be insane, because that idea seemed like such fun!. But the guys would never go for it if they knew that he was being Mister Giddy-Pants. Instead he forced a straight face, fought his voice to a calm serious tone. "I opt to be the distraction. If there are indeed other living beings inside that store then it is imperitive we get them out. As much as I don't personally like the idea of making this little group any larger than it already is. . . I am not going to sit back and let them end up like so many others we've run across today. . " The bizarre urge nearly bowled him over to lift up his gore sodden shoe and wave it in their faces amongst triumphant screes of 'See!? Seeeee!!!??? People Jam!' He managed, thank god, to swallow that down - though he couldn't help but mentally chuckle at the looks that would inspire from his teammates. "No offense to any of those here. But I am probably the best at throwing myself from roof to roof. Hell knows, I've had the practice. I'll go out into the street, fire a few shots and make some noise to draw them out. I'm probably out of mind for suggesting this-"[cue mental chortle]-"But it's the only way I can see out of this other than leaving the store and moving on - and we've risked too much so far to do that. There are too many for a full frontal assult. This might thin the herd. As they come out, you are too sneak into the store and offer any human survivors alligence. Take as much as you can without weighing yourselves down, including some new shells for this baby-" he patted his shotgun in a strangely overaffectionate manner - "And we'll meet at the GreenLane Food Mart. You know where that is?" He looked at each of them expectantly. "All I'd need is an onion bomb incase I get in trouble and about half an hour to an hour." He rolled his shoulders slightly. "If I am not at the store when you get there - or by the time you are finished - leave without me. I'll meet you back at the Flat." Mizuki did not mention that he could be killed at ripped to shreds on this mission. This was not so much as to keep morale high as for the fact tha he honestly believed at this moment in time that this was all a game. If he got struck down he'd just pick back up on his other lives - or swallow a medi pack somewhere alongst the way. "I will not accept protests to this." He turned to David. He smiled. This should have been clue enough that Mizuki was not in his right mind. "I know as well as you that you are more than capable at handling yourself - and those around you. I trust them to your hands. If, when we meet at the store, we are one man down I will hold you fully and completely responsible. Let us hope it will not come to that." He turned to Nick and held out a hand to accept an Onion Bomb.

[[Sorry guys. My computer deleted my posts and I got so mad that I had no desire to re-type them. It seriously happened twice since I started this post for the second time. Damn you, technology.]]
Ada, who was still in the back of the store, could hear the conversations between Nikita and Eri. She knew that soon Eri would turn into something else, and that Nikita wouldn't have the guts to kill her when she did. She looked around in front of her as she heard the two young ones speak. She spotted a bottle of water that Nikita had been drinking but didn't finish. She walked towards it and picked it up. She took a large gulp, which felt sincerely satisfying to her throat. She had a bad case of cotton mouth since she screamed at Eri. Probably not the best display of my self-control. She put the bottle back on the crate she found it on. But that kid really irks me. She listened intently to what Eri was saying but her mind began to wander, focusing instead on the music that was still playing above. Zombies are still headed this way, but no one's up there to shoot them... She thought hard, trying to come up with a plan. If there's enough of them, they'd be able to break through the barricades. Unless they give up and moved on to someone easier to kill. But she hoped they wouldn't. She was very much looking forward to killing. Not in a serial killer way; more for some sort of pay back.
She listened to Eri speak again. Ada walked towards the other room but stopped at the doorway. She didn't want to seem like she was barging in on them, but she wanted her presence to be known. She looked down and saw Eri struggling to keep herself human. Good girl. She thought. She felt proud of Eri for trying to fight off her demons. She's just trying to survive, too. "I'm going back on the roof." She said as she reloaded her pistols. "Last thing we want is tons of zombies piling up in front of the store. Bad for business." She said with a faint smile. But her smile then faded as she turned and continued speaking. "Nikita. When it's safe to, you take her outside. Use the side door." She began jogging up the stairs but stopped and turned to face Nikita again. "I don't care what you do, just get her out of here. Go to the pharmacy down the street. Try to help her out." She pondered for a bit, then continued to speak. "I'll change the CD that's playing when it's safe for you to go. When you hear a different CD, you get out of here." She walked up the stairs went through the latch door. She got to the roof and wondered how many infected humans were out there. But she didn't need her sight to know that the front of the store was packed with zombies. She could hear the groaning, even over the loud music. She picked up her CD case and put it next to her as she began shooting down below her.
It took her about 10 minutes to kill the zombies that were around the shop. There were still many more zombies, but they were further away. She quickly opened her CD case and pulled out the first CD she found without looking to see what it was. She put it into the CD player and pressed play a few times to hurry up the process. After a couple of seconds passed, the music blared once again. Frank Sinatra's voice began echoing through the streets as Ada laughed at herself. Thank you, Sinatra. She thought with a smile. Althought the choice of music wasn't very fitting , it helped her relax and focus on keeping Nikita safe as he tried to get Eri away. "Go! NOW!" She screamed, hoping that they would get the hint that now was the time to leave.
Nikita wanted to hold her down so she would stop behaving the way she was. Eri was completely freaking out, her words not making sense. One moment she'd look at him as if he was beef. The next, she was trying to get out. He tried to come up with something comforting to say, but thank goodness he didn't need to. At that moment, Ada interrupted them. She told them about how she wanted Eri out of her shop and that they should go to the pharmacy, an idea that Nikita completely agreed with. "We can get some medicine. Even if it won't stop it, it'll still help some." He said, trying to inspire some hope into Eri. Then he watched Ada go up the stairs. "Nothing to do now but wait until she makes it safe for us to go. You think you can do that for me?"

Kalila frowned slightly after Mizuki had spoken. He's freakin' happy as a fat kid with cake... she thought amazed. Godd*mmit... He's definately one of the strongest of us all... If he's lost it... I have no idea what's going to happen to us. She thought running a gloved hand over her cheek. Nicholas slowly edged closer to his sister, a) to hear the conversation better, and b) to help some of the fear subside. But as soon as he reached the area right next to his sister he regretted it. Mizuki is smiling like the f*cking cheshire cat... He thought shaking his head. Mizuki's eyes were definately in the happy looking squint of smiling. The grin itself was extremely easy to imagine under the mask. Maybe he's excited about this... He reasoned. But, Nicholas had always been the one who was more suspicious of the young man out of the siblings. We are being lead into war by a maniac! Nicholas's mind screamed at him, thinking back on the hand signals. But, Kalila did listen to Mizuki's plan and it sounded... Well... As good as it could get in this situation. His face straightened again and he began to speak. "Whoa, whoa, whoa... Hold on, hold on." Kalila said hunching in closer to the group. Her brother mimicked this and they created a circle of conversation of sorts. But, Mizuki continued giving all sorts of arguements, reasons, and plans. He ended it by making sure no one argued for the distraction to be no one other then him. Kalila sighed noisily. That was exactly what she was going to argue against. But... It would be a stupid arguement because I have no facts to back me up... she thought grudgingly. Kalila stood back up with her arms crossed underneith her chest. "Fine... Ok. Go." Kalila stated, trying hard to keep the edge out of her voice. She was feeling very vulnerable at the thought of not having Mizuki near her anymore. True, she would have David... But David had proven time and time again he was a genius... But an odd one.
Nicholas darted his eyes to every member of their small group to see their reaction as he brought the bag to his front. He was getting so use to the motion, he quickly unzipped, pulled out an onion bomb, and rezipped in record time. Well... He was also kind of scared. He was the kind of person that worked well under pressure. He gave Mizuki one last look. It read "You better know what your doing..." He dropped the strong smelling orb into his waiting hand. "But!" Kalila piped up as soon as the bomb was in Mizuki's hand. As soon as he had gripped the colorful onion all of Kalila's fears exploded into her mind. Her mind raced to think of a plan as well. Every niche in their plan, every blaphemic noise coming from the streets, the changing of the song from metal to Frank Sinatra, and everything else just dramatized the moment in her mind. She strided up to the young man and stood only a few inches apart from him. "Don't worry about us. Worry about your survival. If you don't make it to the store on time... You'll pay Hell when you get back to Nina's." She stated with narrowed eyes, tippy-toeing to meet his eyes a little better. She had no idea what she was going to do. She'd improvise. "Oh... And if you die... Just know when I die... I'll cause you Hell then!" She said jabbing him in the chest with her index finger. Her voice had shaken a little bit on the last word. Her eyes watered a little bit. "You survived this long... Why not survive a lot longer." She whispered averting her eyes from him. In one quick motion she hugged him tightly. "When you distract... I want you to yell to the people in the gunstore." She stated, her voice shaking again. She let go of him. "Announce the part of your plan they would need to know about, so they don't shoot us. So they know we aren't there to hurt them." She said letting go of him, finally. She backed away from him about two feet and wiped her eyes. She laughed genuinely, but it sounded watery. "If this plan of your doesn't work... I'll eat your face!" She said with mock-viciousness. As shyness had been forgetten and it was replaced with fear and worry.
Nicholas watched the whole exchange and laughed. He actually wasn't offended by what just transpired. He was scared for Mizuki too. So he pretty much agreed with everything his older sister said. "Man, I'll help Kali... I'll wail on you too..." He added with a smirk. "Oh... and If I get shot because you don't say your message loud and clear... I'll wail on you somemore." He said running a hand through his hair casually.

David frowned as he watched Kalila get all emotional. He's completely lost his mind... David and alex both thought. Neither of them spoke it though. David stood right beside Mizuki, "Like Kalila said, you worry about yourself. We'll be fine... I'll tell you what, if one of us gets hurt... or worse... I'll let you shoot me with that shotgun right there." He said, being playful. David patted Mizuki on the shoulder, and stepped backward. Well he's either been mostly taken over by the virus and is trying to protect us... or, he's just lost, what little, mind he had... My money's on the second one. David thought. Alex watched this whole ordeal with a great amount of confusion. Why in the world would he want to leave our safe little group? Alex thought, then he heard the sounds of zombies in the distance. They were getting closer. "If your going to go, now would be the time to do it." Alex said, then David stared at him, with a look that said try and think before you speak... David looked walked over to Kalila after alex said that, then kneeled down, and put his hand on her shoulder. "He's gonna be fine. Mizuki is really strong and has proven he can take care of himself." David said, trying to help her regain her composure. Afterwards, he stood back up, and turned towards mizuki, "Be careful... Just think of it like this, if you get killed out there, then I have proven I'm better then you." David said, purposly trying to get on Mizuki's nerves.

Mizuki was suprised by Kalila's reaction to his plan. As he had expected, there had been some opposition to his plan. A part of him, the part of him that was steadily re-establishing its hold on sanity, wanted them to appose more strongly. Wanted them to make him see just how suicidal this mission was and put him off the whole idea. Make him stay with them - where there was relative strength in numbers. Though this was art of him was highly dissappointed -almost to the point of sheer hopeless depression - the giddy majority of Mizuki was thrilled and filled with an insane sense of victory at this turn of events. So strong that it drowned out all negativity completely. He fought hard to stop grinning. You've got the winning hand, don't give the game away now Zuuk! Poker face! His face became straight and stoney once more. Perhaps a little too forced. He nodded soberly to them all in turn. He was begining to feel like one of those nodding dogs you sometimes saw in the backs of cars by the time he got back to the start again. He shook off the mental image of his own face on one of these dogs body swiftly, as it stirred the bubbles of laughter in the back of his throat. He was however, genuinely shocked when Kalila made her way over to him and squared up to him quite fiercely. Upon the comment about them both dying. . . a crazy little sketch flew into motion infront of Mizuki's eyes. It was of himself in a white gown with a cartoon yellow halo, fluffy white wings on his back. He was lounging on a cloud idolly, whilst strumming out the bass line of 'Red . . [em]' on his harp and murmmering the words to himself. Then, out of nowhere, Kalila, in a red dress and black wings comes along and starts stabbing him in the a** with a pitchfork. It took all will that was left to not double over in fits of laughter. Instead he folded his lips back over his teeth and clamped them tightly behind his mask. "I better not die then." He whispered back, fighting to keep his voice straight. He did however, loose his hold near the end and the word 'die' came out inexplicably and worryingly cheerful. "Warn the people in the store?" He asked politely, feeling the weight of the onion just placed in his hand - his nostrils already tickling from the smell- "Will do!" He said merrily. He grinned. "And let's hope it doesn't come to eating my face." What he didn't voice, but very nearly did, was the thought that followed it. Because if it gets to that, I shouldn't imagine I'd have much of a face left to eat.
Mizuki turned politely to David as he spoke up. Mizuki's body language hinted nothing of fear. Oh contraire! He was limp and casual. Even the way he held his gun, in a bored sort of fashion, hinted that either he was incredibly brave - or his scrambled mind hadn't quite registered just how suicidal this fool hardy mission was going to be. Unable to contain it, a wide grin split his face upon David mentioning that Mizuki would be able to shoot him. "AWH! Don't say that! You'll make me hope someone gets hurt!" He said in in a jokey fashion - even though there was an element of truth behind it. o0o0o0o wouldn't that make a mess! A voice crooned merrily in his mind. Shotguns were notoriously messy weapons. His eyes snapped to Alex as Alex made his contribution. He was still grinning. He couldn't help it by now. <******** Poker Face! A smile a day keeps the Crazies away. Hey ho, let's go! "You're right I should -" He cut off as David spoke again. His eyes narrowed competetively, but the grin remained cemented on his lips. He couldn;t help but think - had the mask and goggles not been there to hide it - this expression would have been quite disturbing. Oh! Like walking through corpses and shooting little girls isn't? Like blowing mummy and daddy to toe-jam isn't? He visibly shuddered at this thought, as the thing inside him that was steadily starting to stabalise again threatened to snap completely. "Well then!" He said in a childishly pompus voice. "Prepare to be bested as I return whole and alive!" He cackled under his breath despite himself. "Toodle Pip Kiddos!"
On that note, Mizuki walked boldly out into the open. No, he did not walk, he sauntered. His gait had such a casual confidence to it, it would have been more suited to someone walking into a busy mall with a big fat wad of money in their pocket. He hefted his gun and slipped the onion bomb into the bag-pocket that was attatched to his trousers. He was grinning, he couldn't help it, this was going to be so much fun! He shifted his mask to the side and cupped a hand to his mouth. He drew back a lungful of air and proceeded to bellow: "HELP ON THE WAY! DON'T SHOOT!" at the top of his lungs. He pulled his mask back on and prepared for the rush. Closer now he could see the litterings of dead bodies around the gun store. What had looked simply like debris in the dark, now closer, stank of rot and death. Crazie Corpses. The scent thrilled him. Something in him, something completely seperate from his sanity, stirred. He knew at once what it was. The virus. Or at least, his own strain of it. It rose in him in a strange heat. He wasn't Hungry, nor was he in a fit of Rage - and yet there it was. Rearing it's ugly head and threatening to consume his entire conciousness. He didn't have time to ponder why this was so. The moment the first syllables of his shout echoed out into the air around him, the screeching hesitated. It happened slowly at first, blessedly, otherwise Mizuki doubted wether he would have been able to finish his message. The first of the shadowy figures emerged from the darkness, shambling and unsteady on their feet. two shillouettes came from around the back of the arms store, a further three emerging from other darkened corners in the street. There seemed to be an air of confusion. Then, as if waiting for its cue, a gentle wind brushed past him, ruffling his hair and stealing his scent - to carry it across to the dumb noses of the surfacing Crazies. Though the tense silence had only lasted a few seconds, and yet in the direity of the moment - it seemed to span for minutes. One of the Crazies nearest the gunstore front door threw its head back and screeched. Funnily enough, the screech didn't seem to bother him that much. He cackled manically. Jumping on the spot he hefted his gun. "Free Meal! Fast Food - c'mon get it!" He yelled. He'd baely finished when one of the Crazie's stationed behind him - in the direction he intended to run - lurched forwards screeching animalistically. "Woah! s**t!" he shouted as he spun on heel to face it, narrowly sidestepping its clumsy assult. Except, it came out more of a 'woashit' as his words merged together. The pre-emptive attack by the Crazie seemed to ignite the others around him. A flood of shamling bodies ripped forth. He managed to cast the group, who were majrtively hidden, a harsh look that simpkly stated Get the ******** out of sight, now! before he was forced t take to his heels. He yelped as the Crazie that had attacked him first, now laying flat out on the floor having lunged so clumsily that it had over balanced, took a swipe at his ankles as he went to run past. He jumped over that hand, and landed, already sprinting. Screeches and hollars roared up behind him, yet Mizuki didn't permit himself to check over his shoulder to see how close they were. Just like earlier he thought - thinking back to when he had first met Kalila and Nicholas. Only that time he had had a significant headstart. Oh hush! Mr. Negativity! Just pump those legs faster while you still have them a painfully cheerful and confident voice perked up in his mind as he did indeed, put proverbial pedal to the metal and put on a burst of speed.
Mizuki reached the corner of the street and wheeled round it. He was grateful that his eyes had become so used to the dark. Seconds after he had, however, he heard the solid pang of a body connecting with the street lamp. They were very close behind. Though Mizuki was keeping level headed and immune to fear out of his minor little episode - the broken fortifications of sanity were quickly repairing themselves and Mizuki was fast coming round to his senses. It wouldn't be long before he realised just what a ******** mess he'd gotten himself into.

Kalila face were still wet from the tears earlier, but if you never saw the glisten and just read her expression, you would have never been able to guess. Her arms were crossed under her chest, her hip was out to the side, and her face was set in pure annoyance. Why the Hell can't you think of another plan?! Her mind yelled at her. Mizuki will be handsome meal in the stomachs of Zombies if you don't find some sort of logical arguement against the plan. her mind sneered. She blew a stray strand of hair from her vision. There aren't any... She whined to herself mentally. David and Mizuki were talking right now. She had been paying attention at first, but her mind enveloped it's self in trying to stop this organized chaos they were about to go into. The conversation was in the background. But she caught something that annoyed her, it was what Alex said. As his father took to glaring at him, Kalila took a good swat at his arm and glared at him. "That gives me less time to find out another plan!" She mumbled angrily to him so the others couldn't here.
Nicholas watched the whole thing in front of him. No... Mizuki is definately not all up there anymore. A few screws definately came loose... He thought serenely. He was much more worried about his own life at the moment. A realization of just how much they were risking had dawned on him a few seconds prior. "Either we're all gonna live because we are lucky b*st*rds or this plan is just so stupid It'll work..." Nicholas said loud enough for everyone to hear. "Or we're all going to die." He sighed. "Might as well have fun with it, ya know?" He said with a pathetic excuse of a smile. He was worried a lot now. He had a sort of cold sweat about him. Speed isn't the problem... It's the sheer number. He said peaking at the hordes of infected, a couple of them clawing at the door of the gunstore. Someone was shooting, because there was a mass of laying bodies. Mizuki spoke to the group as a whole, an odd goodbye, in Nicholas's opinion. "Yeah... When you come back I'm definatly giving you some sort of pill for that... Would riddlin work on his case?" Nicholas asked David, since he was a scientist, jokingly.
As much as Kalila wanted to believe Mizuki would be ok, the way he walked away didn't help ensure it. "He's psycho!" Nicholas whispered loudly, giving Kalila's thought voice. Kalila sobbed once and a second later Nicholas's hand was clasped over her mouth. "Kali... I need you to be quiet. If you make any noise that attracts even one of those thing's attention... This plan will crumble. Kalila felt the cold sweat on Nicholas's hands up against her face and her eyes widened. She had been so worried about Mizuki she had forgotten to comfort Nicholas. Nicholas was the baby of the family and very use to be treated that way. He needed the comfort though he didn't know it. Kalila patted her little brother's shoulder. She still stared after Mizuki though. Nicholas edged closer to the end of the ally, bringing his sister, her mouth still cover, with him. I wanna be in the front of the line... He was panicked. To make matters worse, Mizuki had started. The bellow had made Kalila twitch, her hands quickened to her katana hilt. Nicholas felt her suck in air against his hand on what would have been a gasp. Nicholas's other hand holding the gun and positioned it's self to fire subconciously. For a few moments it was much, much too calm. Both siblings nerves couldn't take it. Then it all bloomed into chaos, like water rushing into a deep valley. Mizuki was attacked and Nicholas felt Kalila claw at him. He was running. The group was hiding, as he had ordered non-verbally. "Oh no... You ain't go now where!" He said with a tone of "I'm better than you" everyone who knew him knew so well. "No ones helpin' him. He's minds not all there... I'm not even sure if he's be worth you risking your life, which is led by a sane mind, for his life, which is led by a nut job..." He said icily. He was scared, and thus spewed out whatever words he wanted to. Mizuki had been running like hell. Kalila watched and struggled deperately and finally managed to get out of her brother grip. He didn't really do much but grab his rifle fully and readily. Kalila watched Mizuki run and the half of infected that chose to run after him instead of staying at the fortification of a building that was Lev's Gun Shack. She was reminded of their first encounter with Mizuki, she felt as if she was watching a dark version of the same thing from a third person perspective... Of course the things were much closer to the young man then they had been then.
"No more Zombies are leaving! We have to go now." Kalila said over her shoulder to the remaining three, besides herself. "No! Wait... Wait! Let Mizuki get 30 feet further." Nicholas said darting his eyes to the gun store to Mizuki. That didn't take long. "F*ckin' BOLT!" Kalila yelled at the group. Nicholas listened the best because he was out before anyone else. Kalila was three feet behind him and keeping up with him. She was in a stanced run, hand ready to take the katana out in a millisecond. Nicholas had his gun against his chest tightly, ready to shoot wildly if it came to it. Frank Sinatra still played beautifully and clearly. For a good for a good six seconds nothing moved, stuck in a confused state, except for the remaining group and Mizuki and the group of infected tailing him. They were too far down the road to matter at this moment. Finally a roar echoed and many repeated after it. A couple crowded in front of the path Nicholas and Kalila were on. Nicholas shot like a maniac. He managed to hit the group plus a couple in the nearby area. As one jumped to their side Kalila slashed out and ran faster. "F*cking help! Open the d*mn door!" Nicholas yelled up at where the gun fire had come from, his voice cracking a little. A few infected, too stupid to know that a quicker meal was about, still clawed at the door.
They had no where else to run. They were outsided of the blocked door. Nicholas shot and tried to open the door, like an idiot. Dammit! of cousre the door was locked retard! He thought angrily, punching it once. He quickly turned his attention back to their surrounding. They surrounded at all sides, minus the locked door. Kalila stood with her back to her brother and the door and fought. She sliced and cut and stabbed and kicked and blocked and parried and cut some more. Nicholas steadied himself and shot a couple well aimed shots. Kalila's face looked calm, her face set in a slight frown as she continued to fight. But her mind was screaming obsenities at the situation. Blood was splashed over her goggles and mask and her katana was completely reddish brown with the dying blood of the infected. "OPEN UP!" Nicholas screamed, while he shot. He looked to Alex and David to make sure they were ok. But he had to concentrate on assisting his sister.

Eri was half asleep, staring at Nikita desperately...yet the expression was slightly glazed over. "Ni....kita..." She whispered. "Please forgive me for getting bitten...." A tear slid down her face. "I should have...been more careful.." Her speech was clear enough to be understood. She looked as if in great pain as the antibodies in her were getting confused and attacking other antibodies. She sat up wearily, crossing her legs. "I....hate that I've caused you and miss Ada so much grief...." She said. She thought for a moment then gasped. "I can't believe I forgot!" She pulled a miniature laptop out of her pocket and typed in it. She looked at the results and blinked. She stood and walked up to Nikita, placing the laptop in his hand. "This notes some personal remedies that work on the flu virus and help quite a lot." She stopped when she heard the song change. "Nikita...we need to go..." She looked at him concerned. "Are you sure you want to do this..? What if I turn again....What will you do....?"
