Mairi had already dried off and was in the process of putting on her bathing suit.Sadly, the only one the store had carried that would fit her was a two piece.Reaching into the bag, she hesitated a moment, pulling out a pair of scissors.Ginhana watched in shock as Mairi pulled her hair over one shoulder, she'd braided it again, and cut it off, just above her shoulder.She proceeded to finish creating her new hairstyle before cleaning up.Tossing the hair into a trash can, she wrapped a towel around her shoulders and heading out to the hot spring, Ginhana fallowing at her heels, still looking rather shocked at what Mairi had just done.((Refer to the pic of her on the first page for the hairstyle))

 Raen sighed softly as he slid into the navy swim trunks he'd brought with him. He ppulled out a pale grayish silver blindfold out followed swiftly by a dark gray towel with a black border, though what had caught his eye was the gold sunburst impaled by a trio of silver lightning bolts. The symbol of Apostolos, the Final Fate, he thought. He knew much of his true power was still bound instinctively, though he had one suspicion to fully release it.
He let Setsuna go ahead of him into the hot spring, though he noticed Mairi almost immediately.

Mairi kept her head lowered slightly as she left the women's part of the building and froze slightly when she saw Setsuna's aura, instantly recognizing her as the one who'd invaded her dream the night before.Keeping the towel wrapped around her shoulders, she went to one of the smaller, empty pools and slid into the water, making sure neither of the two would see her back when she let go of the towel.She never opened her eyes, nor did she look in Raen's direction, though she knew where he was.Ginhana stretched out along the edge of the pool by Mairi and looked at Setsuna curiously.

Raen exhaled raggedly as he slid into the hot water, feeling his tightened muscles relax slowly. He sat closer to Mairi than he did Setsuna, though it was obvious that the Senshi was interested in him. As he shifted his arms casually in the side of the pool, he subtly signaled to Ginhana to grab the blindfold and give it to Mairi. He absently thought about how it almost matched the cloak she'd summoned earlier. A faint smile flickered at the corners of his mouth at the thought.

Ginhana gave Raen a small glare and picked up the blindfold, dragging it over to Mairi.She subconsciously shifted away from Raen a little bit and accepted the blindfold from the fox but didn't put it on "Thank you, but I don't need it right now..." She focused her gift and found the mark centered on Setsuna's forehead that gave away who she was.Ginhana laid back down by the edge of the pool, choosing the space between Mairi and Raen to do so, though she continued to watch Setsuna.

Raen shifted, hearing Mairi's low voice. "You know that I moved out of my old man's place after a painful incident, but you don't know what exactly happened," he said quietly, well aware that Setsuna could hear him just as well as Mairi. His parents had lived in the edge of an Indian reservation, though they'd moved after his mother haddrowned in a unexpected flash flood. One night, after they'd moved in with his uncle and Sakura, there had been noises and his father, heavily drunk at the time, had snarled for him to 'check it out'. He had discovered one of his uncle's dogs slain, though when he'd turned, the rabid lynx that had killed the dog had attacked him, ripping four deep slashes in his chest. One had gone deep enough to puncture his lung, though when he'd tried to wake his father to call an ambulance, the man had been passed out drunk. Fortunately, Sakura had found him and called the ambulance. He'd later heard that his uncle had put down the lynx.

Mairi hesitated a moment before speaking again "I know some of it..Sakura isn't the best at keeping secrets, especially when she's drunk.." She didn't bother mentioning the cards, he already knew she often used them to find things out.She shifted slightly, and when she did so, a bit of one of the deeper scars on her left shoulder flashed into view before being hidden again.Ginhana moved to rest her head on Mairi's shoulder lightly as a sort of warning.

Raen shrugged one shoulder, his eyes on the ceiling, as a result not noticing the scar on Mairi's shoulder or Ginhana's movement. "Well, now you know what happened. It was three or four years later that Sakura and I moved out, though I had heard that my old man passed away from falling down the stairs a year or so ago; they said his blood alcohol was four and a half times the legal limit," he sighed. He felt the water shift as somebody else got into the hot spring, but jerked slightly when someone's hand touched his chest, tracing the scars.
To his surprise, it was a very beautiful young woman with reddish auburn hair and emerald green eyes with teal edges. She was leanly muscled though he sensed an aura around her that was quite different from that of the Senshi, but it was potent in its own way.

Mairi kept her eyes lowered slightly, reaching for the blindfold "Truthfully...I'm not surprised..From what you and Sakura have told me, there wasn't a day that went by where he wasn't drunk.." Seeing the new aura, she stiffed slightly.Tying the fold into place she stood and grabbed her towel, but not moving fast enough to cover her back as she climbed out of the pool.Ginhana looked up curiously "I'm going to head back to the apartment.I'm not feeling too well..." Which wasn't exactly a lie.Since their escapade in the park, her headache had been steadily growing worse.

Raen cocked his head slightly before he jerked in surprise, feeling the new arrival's fingers trailing lower down his body. He quickly shifted, not really realizing that with one quick and fluid movement he had pushed himself out of the water and half-squatted, half-crouched on the side of the pool with his back to Mairi, showing the twenty or twenty five thin slicing scars in addition to some of the scarring from his shoulder and the dull silver tattoo-seal between his shoulder blades. In that instant, he'd utterly forgotten certain details, including a certain detail about baths. He didn't, however, miss how both the new arrival's gaze and Setsuna's gaze dropped low on his body. He coughed, then swiftly covered himself with his towel, not missing how both women pouted. "That us the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me," he groaned.
Kitai, however, was heartily laughing her a** off in Raen-sama's mindscape. She found this little incident highly amusing.

Mairi turned slightly, hearing sloshing water.She wasn't able to see the scars, obviously, but she was able to tell he wasn't wearing anything.She linked their minds again, unable to hold back a small grin when he covered himself with the towel "Why do you think I wore a bathing suit?You get all kinds of pervs in public baths." She disconnected the link and headed back into the women's shower to change and get her things.She did notice however how a ruby colored aura shifted slightly when she passed one of the smaller pools, getting the feeling that whoever it was, was watching her.Ginahana let out her own barking laugh and fallowed after Mairi, leaving Raen to fend for himself.The group and melded into a single being in Mairi's soul scape, and let out a rumble of hearty laughter when it/they saw Raen's predicament.Even though Mairi was blind, what she gathered through her other senses made perfectly clear images in the pool, allowing them to see as well.

Raen snorted, then sighed. "What made you think I wasn't?" he grumbled as the auburn haired beauty lifted one hand out of the water to reveal his swim trunks. His gaze shifted as he straightened before he spoke quietly. "Tomoji Hino, do not peep upon Mairi or any other friends I may make while here in Tokyo," he stated coolly. The yelp that followed gave away the balding elderly Shinto priest in a corner heated pool almost hidden from the entrance from the showers. He knew instinctively that the man was Rei Hino's paternal grandfather, though he didn't really question precisely how he knew it with such certainty. He sighed, glancing towards where Mairi had gone. After a moment, he slid back into the hot water, deciding to keep a focus on Mairi to make sure she made it back to the apartment safely. He instinctively dismissed the towel into a subspace pocket for easy access later. He cocked an eyebrow as he noticed both women watching him with small smiles as if they enjoyed his company. He wasn't all that surprised when they both settled on either side of him with a couple of inches between them; he wasn't all that surprised to feel them both shift a bit closer and start snuggling against him. Mairi smiled slightly though didn't reply.She also knew it wasn't Hino-san watching her.The ruby colored aura seemed younger, and a little darker.Once inside she changed into a pair of jeans she'd bought and a tshirt, putting everything else into the small bag.Retying the blindfold in such a way that it was partially hidden by her hair "Ready to go, Ginny?" The fox jumped into the bag in reply, letting out a small yip.Mairi grinned and headed out onto the street, slightly surprised to find there were still so many people out and about.She had her eyes open the whole way now, silently thankful for the fold, as she started walking, dodging around a few people too engrossed in their own thoughts to pay attention.

Raen sighed softly as he sensed Mairi's departure, though he'd only audibly called out the Hino patriarch to distract the listeners, including the darker signature he'd sensed seconds after entry, from even remotely getting the sense that he was far more than he appeared, even limited as he was. "I know it wasn't Hino-jiji that was watching and spying on you, Mai-chan, but now the real spy will simply think I am observant yet oblivious to the 'darker' occurrences," he murmured, lettingthe contact brush lightly and momentarily across her mind. He knew it would let her know he was aware of whether she was in danger or not.

Mairi hummed quietly as she walked, more of a distraction for herself than anything else.Despite the fact she was blind, she knew how dark it was getting and it creeped her out.Getting Raen's message, she smiled slightly before letting her mind brush his for a second "I don't think it was totally dark, not like the women that were after Usagi and Chibi-Usa.Guess we'll find out at some point." She let the connection fade as she turned the corner that lead to the park from earlier, their apartment building just on the other side.
