Please tell me that the sharing theme can be seen in this. (It's rather abstract) I've been frustrating myself all day. I'm uploading this as a WIP. I know it looks really simple, but believe me I spent much longer than 30 minutes on it. I'm uploading it now because I don't think I'll be able to finish before the deadline. The finished picture is supposed to have many patterns in it.

Today has been interesting for me. A picture like this, given all of the problems I've had with it, is normally something I would have given up on to save myself the frustration. But instead with the challenge going on and other reasons, I kept at it and I'm not unhappy with it. I think this has been good to pushing me toward really working to capture what I want instead of giving up when it doesn't come right away, which is, sadly, what I usually do in my personal artwork.

This can be seen as sharing, right? I mean, an old man sharing the first moments of his grandson's life...fits...right? /worries/ I want to make this into something digital one day since I'm proud of my fist attempt at a baby and an old man.

Since alot of us are in different time zones and a few working full time, is it possible to get tomorrows theme and the next day as well? I mean I would still only post one a day...but some days I have more time then others with work sad

So just two days themes shown instead of one?

Uhh this was a really tuff call cause I'd really feel bad about this, but I'm gonna have to say no sweatdrop The problem with this idea, is that some people might be tempted to cheat and draw 2 days themes in a row, one after the other. When the point of the contest is to try and create something new everyday. I think this would have been an excellent idea if I could trust everyon to play fair. But I don't really know everyone in the guild as well, so I'd rather play it safe. Sorry : (
