Stella wiggled down on the couch and laid her head on Gage's lap, getting comfy and looking up at him. "Chow mein!" She giggled and started unbuttoning the buttons on his uniform. She wanted to be able to touch as much of his skin as possible. Pulling off his shirt slowly she ran his hands up his stomach and sat up, hugging him tightly as he called in their order.

 "Every night, she's all I see...." Gage sat forward slightly, pulling off the uniform shirt, and the t-shirt under it and laying them across the back of the couch before he kicked back and called in the order. He seemed perfectly content sitting there in the acu pants and boots, his dogtags laying against his chest... Once their order was in, he flipped on the tv and found the ordering movies section, looking over them. "Any movie in particular Stell?"

Stella rested her head on his chest and snuggled up close to him. Staring at the TV as Gage went to the movie section. Her fingers found his dog tags and starting playing with them. "Um... Something scary so I have an excuse to be close to you." She chuckled stared at the TV screen, lost in thoughts. Almost afraid that this was all a dream and she was going to wake up and he wasn't going to be there.

"Every night, she's all I see...." Gage chose a horror movie at random, just putting on something for noise for the moment. By the time the movie started up, their food was arriving. He grabbed his wallet and slid out from under Stella. Paying the man, he took their food and came back to the couch, sitting back in his spot, her half on his lap. "Alright, movie, dinner... Yeah, this is a pretty perfect first night home..."

Stella pouted as Gage got up to get there food, but smiled as soon as he came back so he didn't see the pout. For some reason things felt different between the two of them. Maybe it was because it was his first day back or maybe it was the both of them had changed during their time apart. Whatever it was she just hoped that it would pass and things would be normal once again and they could put those eighteen months apart behind them. She took her food from his lap and sat it on hers, chewing her lip and half watching the movie. "I'm just glad your home."

"Every night, she's all I see...." Gage nodded and then growled, he set his food down to one side and reached down, untying his boots and curling his feet up under him. He leaned over and kissed down her cheek and neck. "I'm glad to be home too Stell..."

Stella smiled and blushed a little, taking a bite out of her chow mein. As hard as she tried to watch the movie she couldn't. It was almost impossible to keep her eyes of her engagement ring. As horrible as it sounds she had been trying to find something she disliked about it for eighteen months but was never able to.. It was perfect. Completely and entirely perfect. "Gage.. Do things seem a little weird to you..." She hated to have to ask that question but she had to get it off her chest some how.

Stella heard him sighed and instantly regretting that she even said something. She looked over at him, hidden in her eyes was a little bit of fear. Fear that things would never be like they were. Time apart isn't so bad.. But when the other person experience stuff that the other can only imagine.. It's different. "I know. Sorry for bringing it up. Let's just enjoy our night." She smiled and kissed his cheek softly before continuing to eat. Attempting to watch the movie but finding herself a little to scared, cuddling against Gage and often burying her face in the crook of his neck.

Gage pulled Stella close and paused the movie during one of the scariest points. Tilting hr chin to look up at him he smiled. "I missed you, and I love you.... And I want you to know.. Yes, things happened over there, but it wasn't anything that made me a different man than the one that left... I have better posture, and shorter hair, that's about it...."

Stella looked at Gage and smiled, for the moment the fear left her eyes and she kissed him softly and tenderly. She pulled away after a moment. It had been so long since they had kissed she just wanted to kiss him over and over and over again. Standing up she took her food into the kitchen and put away what was left and threw away the trash. "When your done eating can we go cuddle?" She blushed as she sat back down next to him, snuggling into his arm.

Gage finished eating what he wanted before he put his leftovers in the fridge and then put out one hand, ready to lead her into the bedroom. He just wanted to touch her, regardless of where he would be.... He waited until her hand was in his before he swept her up into his arms and carried her into the room, kicking the door shut behind them.

Stella squealed and giggled as Gage swept her off her feat, literally and metaphorically. She smiled and kissed his neck, it being the only thing she could currently reach. Her eyes lit up when he kicked the bedroom door closed behind him. Trailing her fingertips down his back softly, and then back up. She had missed his touch more than anything.

Gage laid her carefully down on the bed and smiled, he flipped on the tv in their room just for background noise, and laid down beside her, kissing down her cheek and neck, nuzzling against her collarbone. "I missed you so much."
