" those two are great for each other. I'm sure they're enjoying each other's company while doing homework," she sighed. " It's lonely without Our kids. At least you have a baby to keep you occupied. My kid is gone for months on end with little to no contact with me. Whenever he does call, he is usually injured or the academy is being attacked or he's stuck in some highly dangerous situation," she said. Why Eric? Why are you so reckless? Every time you get injured it's as if I receive it ten fold emotionally. When you were stabbed in the throat... I nearly died inside, she thought. She held back her emotions.

Lerana sighed. "You are right. What matters is making the moments count." She said and then walked over to Kiru and pushed him a little. "Kiru, honey. TIme to get up." Kiru groaned and covered his eyes. "Tired." He said and sighed. "I'llbring our stuff back in an hour." She nodded and kissed his cheek before walking to Lerana. "Kiru's not feeling well or something."

Patricia blinked a few times and snapped back to reality. " What?oh, ummm yeah I guess. Make moments count and whatnot. Sorry, spaced out there for a second. Kiru's not well? Well that stinks," she said standing up. " Luckily, we have a medic just across the street." She leaned out the window and faced the house across from her. " HEY MOOGLE!" she shouted. Yogtz was in his kitchen when he heard shouting. He floated out his door and faced Patricia. " I have a name you know," he said. " It's hard to remember," " What's so hard to remember about Yogtz, kupo?" " I'll delve into it later. Right now, we may need you. Our friend here is not feeling well," Yogtz sighed. " Give me a few minutes to gather supplies and FINISH MY BREAKFAST Mrs. Fringe," " You can call me Patricia," " No. It'd be weird for Eric to hear his friends call his mom by her first name. See you soon," he said floating back into his house.

Leopold continued eating cinnamon rolls. Patricia turned around and swiftly smacked his hand. " No! Bad husband. Save some rolls for Kiru.im not making anymore today," she snapped. Leopold recoiled his hand and chuckled. " I'm used to us being alone. I'll be wandering about town if you need me hon," he said standing up. Probably best to leave the women alone for a while. Lerana is clearly stressed, he thought. He walked out the front door.

Patricia sighed. " I'm sure he'll be fine. Just worn out is all. Age affects everyone's energy level," she said.

Eric landed in softly in castle town. He walked over to his parent's house. His dad was waiting on the porch with his arms crossed. Leopold looked to Eric. " Is she with you?" he said. "She has her own ship," " Then why are you here? Are you seriously worried about me? It's a nice thought, but I'll be fine," "What if I legitimately wanted to brush up on my bostaff and spend more time with my father than I could last time?" Leopold chuckled." I guess that's a good excuse. You're still not touching the family staff. You don't get that until I'm dead," Eric took a seat on the porch. "I did not expect to. I just came for some training. You were right, I should be more diverse in my weapons," " Parents are usually right sonny. You should listen to them more often," leopold chuckled. Eric laughed to and watched the horizon.

Reiko's ship landed as she jumped out and carefully picked up Rice, her panda cub. She made her way alongside the road, looking for Eric and his father.

Eric stood up and smiled when he heard the ship land. "Are you ready to be a teacher again pops?" " Says my worst student," "I was your only student ever," " Exactly," "Fine. Good burn. Oh, she has a little pet," Eric said looking toward reiko. Leopold leaned against the wall and smiled. " Don't tell me I have to train that to? It'll take forever to teach a panda," "It'd be fun if it succeeded though," " If it weren't illegal. Animal fighting is cruel and wrong," "Says the gladiator champion himself," " point taken. Let's just start this. Go out back and grab a staff. Don't tie your keyblade to it this time," "I do that ONE time and I never hear the end of it," " As original an idea as it was, you still broke the pole. Those things aren't easy to make you know," "My dad the weapons manufacturer," Eric said sarcastically. " If you spent half as much time training as you did cracking jokes, you'd be an actual challenge for me," leopold replied. Eric huffed and went to the backyard.

I meant to create a small fire to scare everyone but my target out, but they made it spread. In the chaos, this cub's mother was)" Reiko looked down as she closed her eyes tightly, having flashbacks. "(...Rice's mother isn't with us anymore. It's my fault too. So I'm raising him myself.)"

Leopold opened his eyes glared toward reiko. " (Do you still work for his evil b*****d? If so I'll just kill you here and now. I've heard evil things about that man. He's the one responsible for the attacks that injured my son. Everyone and anyone who works for him does not deserve to live in my book. You being an assassin is bad enough, working for one who attacks innocent children is simply horrendous. You are on thin ice now kid,)" he said.
