Something was following silently after them, curious about who would enter the forest. The shadows suddenly shifted as something waited; watching them.

Whatever what was in the shadows, was still following after them, trying to avoid being spotted by the black eyed one.

Link nodded. He passed over a plant that grew between the cracks of the floor. The plant suddenly nipped at his shoulder. 'Deku Baba... He thought as he spun around to kill it. A quickly glance at the ground told him there were many others just like the one he killed. "This is nice..."

"Get behind me or lose your feet." Black said as he made a sharp blade that stretched from wall to wall and sent it forward, cutting all the heads off.

Suddenly a large Deku Baba raised out of the ground and attacked Black while his back was turned, even though he could probably defend himself, a arrow flew out of the shadows and hit it in the head. It screeched and dissolved into shadows.

Black quickly turned around to see who or what shot the arrow. "Now I know I saw something before. Who's there?" He called out.

There was movement as a small husky puppy came out of the shadows, looking at Black with violet eyes and tilted it head.

"A dog?... You have got to be kidding me. You expect me to believe a dog shot an arrow? A dark arrow at that." Black muttered and walked over to kneel down in front of the husky.

The dog suddenly rolled onto it back, begging to be scratched.

Black stratched the dog's belly. "So when are you going to show your real form? Because I don't, for a second, believe that a dog shot an arrow out of no where." He explained.
