Envy sat right next to Denji as she looked determined like a guard dog. But then she started to pant as she wagged her tail.

Denji mewed in his dream before he rolled over to his back with his paws curled close to his chest.

Askari would listen intently on them with her ears, she didn't want either of them to wander off. She slipped her clothes off beside a small river, it was a deep and clean waterway. The Dodongo's blood was dried in her clothes, but the smell was still strong. She scrubbed her shirt in the water, getting most of the dried blood out. She finished a short time later, but had to wait for her clothes to dry before putting them back on. It was cold if you only had on your undergarments.

Envy looked at Askari as she wet to wash her clothes. She laid down as she licked her lips and closed her eyes. The reason why Envy didn't sleep often was because she had nightmares. Darkness swept over her as she jolted awake she blinked as she looked around.

Askari's clothes dried slowly, but were still partially damp when she put them on. She'd wrapped her hair in a tight bun on her head. The blonde walked back to where Envy and Denji were, seeing Envy sitting wide awake, "What's wrong?" she asked, sitting down beside the girl.

"Its alright, I'm fine no need to worry about me." She whimpered a bit as she laid there as she looked up at her. Her ears twitched a bit.

Askari shook her head, "Tell me what's wrong, please?" she said, looking down at Envy.

"Well...I guess everytime I close my eyes I get nightmares..." Envy said as she laid her head down on her paws.

Askari watched Envy and pet between her ears, "Come now, if it makes you feel anybetter, you can sleep beside me and I'll stay up to comfort you?" she suggested with a small smile.

Denji rolled over again then opened his eyes. He yawned before shifting back into his human shape again. "I love being a cat. I only like half an hour of sleep and it feels like a days worth!"

Askari rolled her eyes at Denji, "You should probably go washy our clothes, unless you want me to?" she said, "I already washed mine, plus, it smells a lot better without the Dodongo blood," she smiled.

Envy had already placed her head on Askari's leg as she slept. Her tail drooped as she fell into a sleep.

Denji sighed. "Whatever." He mumbled and went down to the lake. He stripped down to his undergarments and tried hard to scrub the blood of the burrowed shirt and his original shirt that resembled the upper part of a robe. He scrubbed hard, but ti was harder than he though it would be.

Askari placed a hand on Envy's head, stroking her fur. She sighed, having the little girl on her leg was like having a little sister to her.

Envy slept peacefully as she let Askari pet her. Have I finally found my family...I don't know...But I'll keep trying...she thought as she slept.
