Greenheart woke to a startle in the warriors den.
"How long have I been asleep" Greenheart thought to herself.
Well i better go check on Flowerpaw and see if she wants to go train.
Greenheart padded out of the warriors den and went to the apprentices den. Greenheart stuck her head inside of the apprentices den and saw Flowerpaw.
"Flowerpaw. Flowerpaw. Flowerpaw wake up" Greenheart mewed.
Flowerpaw twitched her head at Greenheart.
"Meet at the gorse tunnel for training." Greeheart ordered as she turned and headed for the fresh-kill pile. Greenheart looked and found a finch."Looks good enough!" Greenheart thought to herself.

 CloudFang saw that GreenHeart was awake. " Be careful of what you eat." She whispered to the warrior. Then turned away and returned to Willowpaw. Willowpaw's condition wasnt getting any better.. but it wasnt getting any worse either. "Its as though she is on the line between life and death." She said her thoughts aloud.

  ll ядveишiиg ll If it was any normal occasion, Ravenwing would have wasted no time in trying to court Cloudfang. Now, however, even his laid-back mind has registered that now was not the time. He padded over to Cloudfang and Willowpaw, and only one sniff was enough for him to smell the pungent smell of sickness in the air.
"If Starclan is powerless against this, would there be anything we could do?"
The sleek black tom muttered half to himself and half to Cloudfang as he gazed sadly at the ill apprentice.

"this is no time to lose hope." CloudFang said to the warrior. "I will do all that is in my power to help Willowpaw." CloudFang said.

 NightFlame padded over to CloudFang and Willowpaw. He gave Willowpaw a few comforting licks. "Stay Strong young one. You will not die, you will survive." He told the apprentice.

leafpool112 Mosstar looked up at the cats all talking at once."Yes Cloudfang, there is much to do here." She pointed her ear toward the medicine cats den. She twitched her ear at Skye and Sallcillia.First she spoke to Sallcillia,"Well I hope you find your family, but if your tired and in need of rest you can sleep here till you gained your strength."Then Mosstar turned to Skye," I see you have been through much and I see you have good fighting teniques, but could still use some more training, and Im asking if you want,that you can join our clan,I will give you time to make your decision." She nodded toward Skye and then turned to Caesar," Seaclan WILL help Breezeclan to get the remedy and stop the Madness."Mosstar felt like her skin was going to break open because of how puffed up she was. sallcillia dipped her head "th-th-thankyou" she mewed the words not coming out right

  [Caesar nodded happily.]
"I am happy Seaclan will retrieve the remedy," he said softly, then turned to Skye and added, "and congratulations to you."
[He stood and padded back over to Willowpaw. He shook his head slightly.]
"If you won't listen to reason," he sighed at Cloudfang, "there is nothing I can do from stopping you. But like I said...more cats could die if their medicine cat left them. The remedy is far away...and I'm certain no other clans would help any sick SeaClan cats."
[Caesar's eyes shined with worry. He wasn't good with herbs- if he was, he would take care of the Clan in Cloudfang's absence. If the medicine cat left, SeaClan would become vulnerable. It wasn't a good situation to be in.]

Troutail thought for a moment then said "I have an idea! What if I were trained to know herbs by Cloudfang, and then if in the end she decides to go along, I could be like a second medecine cat apprentice to help here". He had wondered what it would be like to learn all the herbs and things like that just like a medecine cat.

CloudFang listened to Casears words carefully. She lowered her eyes avoiding his gaze. "I know." she said softly. "I understand what your trying to say its just that... i feel useless. watching all of these cats get sick while the herbs i give them may not have any effect on them." she whispered so no one could hear. She sighed.

I will not Die... I will Survive!
Willowpaw ate the herbs slowly and carefully. It was not because she did not trust CloudFang. It was because she was having trouble eating the herbs. Once in a while her body would spit them out and blood would come along with it. She was on the line between life and death.

 Mintpaw As pungent and sharp as the leaf.[Mintpaw awoke in the medicine cat's den.
Her eyes slowly adjusted to the gloom but didn't take anything in.
The only thing she noticed was how absolutely starved she was..
She padded over to the fresh-kill pile, and prodded unhappily at the limp dead pieces of prey there were.
She wanted warm, freshly killed cat..
She looked around ravenously, looking for any cat.
They all looked plump and sleek, delicious...
The Madness shot through her pure and lustful.
It shook her, knocking away any control she'd just had.]
No.. This wasn't supposed to happen! she thought, panicked.
[At this moment, she found herself looking into a yellow and blue pair of eyes.]
"NO!!" she howled.
[She couldn't bear to see them, she just had to get away.
And so she dashed out of the clearing...]

CloudFang whipped her head around to see Mintpaw in the clearing. "Mintpaw!" she yowled. "Mintpaw are you hurt? what happened? are you feeling any better?" She asked. *First Comes Pain... Then comes Anger... Slowly it will eat your concious away...* A voice spoke inside her head.
