Shar nods at her as she goes to sit behind her desk. "I think I understand. When I was in training there was a gifted healer in my class. He could do wonders... but he rarely if ever had any empathy for those he took care of. I know not what he does now, but the head of the school refused to promote him past journeyman... saying no healer could turly master his talent until he felt what the patient was going through. Now... I'd like to see you on a regular basis... once a week should do it... for now. So I can monitor their growth. Do you wish for me to feel them out with my talent... to see what their sex might be... or do you wish to wait?"

Shar comes over and rest a light hand on her abdomen, extending her senses down into the body. Almost instantly she get the sense of virility she normally associates with males plus a second more neutral reading. The latter reading confuses her, but she decides not to mention it just yet. It could just be a manner of establishing dominance in the womb. She would wait and see, monitoring it with each visit, to watch for any abnormality that might be present. other than that the cubs are healthy, responding to her gentle probes with renewed activity, stretching and turning as though to follow her scans.

She laughs softly. "They are healthy and strong, m'lady. I see no problems as od now."

Shar smiles and helps her down. "Are ye still sleeping upstairs? Ye might want to move down... those steps are rather steep."

"Well, yer sense of balance is better than those of us on two legs at this point, but no need pushing it. Now.. how about we two share some tea and girl talk... Ye know... except for the cook and some of the servants, this place is heavily male... " pouts Shar with a wink, leading the way back out to her main room.

Shar smiles and brings forth her tea chest. Within it sits about twenty different kinds of tea from all over the world. "Take yer pick, m'lady. My family all knows my addiction to the stuff and sends me far more than I can drink on my own. Every Harvest Fest and Mid-Winter I get enough to refill it twice over. Some I've sent to Tam, as he prefers the stronger blends which I do not, but I keep the others for myself."

They are still going strong when Tam returns.

Tam holds up a bundle of papers and two new books. "He's still under house arrest. But he might like his new lessons... Mica found some primers on voidic magic."
