(( Btw, completely off-topic here, but Embergaze's apprentice, Oakpaw, went NP, so I'm thinking of changing her name to like Oaktail or something so Embergaze can have mentored a warrior. .-. Because he barely got to train with her before going NP and I don't want to RP with myself using a NP cat. |C
*cough* AAAANYWAY *cough* I'm going to edit oakpaw into a warrior, hotay? :/

"WIND!!" [He cried as Beam knocked her off. He didnt know what to do, disobey his beloved leader, or take the chance that his mate would be injured. As an assassin he swore his life to protect Talon, but as a lover he swore to protect Wind. He felt his rage boil as Beam's talons touched Wind. He let out a roaring sheik and ripped his talons into his neck in an attempt to kill.] "I will make you suffer for that!!! Fight me! not her!! She only wishes to protect me!! I am the assassin who fights for Talon!!" [He dug his hooked claws deep into Beam's chest in attempt to rip his hear out. He was blinded by rage. Wind looked up] "Dont listen to them Arrow! I can protect Talon!! Go help the others!!" [She got up to her feet. Talon turned.] "No one is to leave until I say so! This attack is not over!" [Wind froze, and nodded.] ".... yes Talon." [He let go of Saltpaw when Avalon approached, giving her up without a fight. He watched emotionless as the cats and eagles crowded around her lifeless body.]
[Suddenly, in the middle of battle a eagle soared right past Avalon's face and into the clan carrying a bloody eagle in his talons.] "FESTER!!! FESTER WHERE ARE YOU!!!?!?!" [Splint soared up into the trees infront of Fester and Sirin. His voice was fuilled in panic as he cried tears of fear to the half blinded doctor.] "Fester please!! You have to save Blade!! I.. he is dieing!!" Please Fester!!! PLEASE!!!" [The doctor looked upon the assassin who laid still. he shook his head.] "Splint. He is hardly alive, im not sure there is much i can do." [Splint began to shake like a leaf, crying uncontrollably.] "Please Fester! Dont say that!! There HAS to be a way!!! Anything!!!" [The doctor looked at Splint, sorrow and sympathy in his one good eye.] "I will see what i can do..."

Frostclaw
[Frostclaw burn with anger when she was prevented from attacking Talon. This was her fight too, what right did Avalon have to stop her?]
[Frostclaw, upon hearing Galestar's voice whipped around despite the danger lurking. The anger and passion in her eyes was clearly visible, and some of it leaked into her tone.]
"We can't let them fight alone! This is our home, our battle!"
[She said stubbornly. She wanted to feel the flesh of Talon being ripped under her paws. Though something in her mates voice and his eyes calmed her slightly, allowing her a moment of clear thinking.]
"We have to do something..."
(So, umm I may have to go in a few minutes...You see, I'm moving and I thought my mom and I were going to relax today, well turns out I was wrong and we're going to the new house to put blinds up...So I don't know when I'll be back...>.>)

[Blizzard screamed as Arrow attacked Titan.] "EY" she shrieked, ripping him off of Titan and throwing him on the ground. "I told you to GIT!"
[The eagles seperated. Titan huffed a Arrow, who had attacked him, a rip in his thigh. Blizzard glared at Wind, shaking her head.]
"If we keep going "OH DON'T HURT HER I PROTECT HER" and "NO DON'T HURT HIM AS HE TRIES TO SAVE ME I PROTECT HIM" and "DONT YOU TOUCH HER PROTECTING ME PROTECTING HER", this is going to be an endless battle!" Blizzard screamed angrily. "Get your priorities straight, chicken-hearts!"
Titan rolled his eyes and added, "She's right."
[Twigg coughed where she stood next to Avalon.]
"Uh...so, are we going to continue fighting or what?" she muttered, looking from Titan and Blizzard to Avalon.
[Avalon did not have a chance to reply as Splint returned with a bloody bird in his talons. Avalon shifted on her feet, narrowing her eyes at the bird.]
"Caw must have killed him," she muttered a bit absentmindedly. Twigg nudged her a bit and she sighed and said, "So, Talon. Do you plan to stay and fight or leave?"
Peak chirped in a frustrated and hasty tone, "All clan cats must remain behind me," to Galestar and Frostclaw.
[He shifted uneasily on his feet, eyeing the two cats angrily.]_______________________________________Don't test my wrath!  The Gales of the wind are my heart.

 F o r what is it to die, but to stand in the sun..._____________________________[Galestar nudged his mate again, eying the eagles precariously.]
"I know, love," he said a bit soothingly, "but there is no way in StarClan we could have faced off against all these eagles. We will have our chance, but right now we have to make sure no more apprentices end up like..."
[He trailed off, not willing to accept what had happened to Saltpaw. He swallowed, pain crossing his face.]
"Frostclaw, I don't think I could bear it if any more cats died," he said in a voice thick with pain. He added in a low whisper, "Especially you." _____________________________...and melt in the w i n d ?

"I do not think you could bare it if Avalon ended up like Saltpaw."
[Frostclaw was not afraid to say the apprentices name. She had died bravely. It only took one more comment from Galestar to sway Frostclaw. she didn't like the thought of waiting out a battle, but she didn't have a choice. As her mate and leader, Galestar could order her to do anything, but instead he seemed to be trying to convince her.]
"Alright. But the moment that the battle turns for the worse...I'm jumping in." she said, the last part almost a whisper.
[Peak was ushering them to retreat to behind him and she obeyed, nudging Galestar once with her head before padding behind the large bird. She turned to watch the fight, following each bird in turn. It seemed Talon was going to have to either die to retreat, but Frostclaw knew, things could always change.]

[Fester feverishly worked on the quickly dieing assassin as Splint watched with intense worry. He cursed under his breath.] "Dam you Blade!! Out of all the things you have done to me THIS is the worst!! Who will i have pointless arguments with!? Who will insult me when my ego grows the size of Talon's bloodlust? Who will i have to prove myself too?"
[Arrow and Wind glared at the enemy eagles. They knew Blizzard was right, but they couldn't leave without their leader's orders, and knowing how suborn he was he would never retreat from Avalon. Wind stepped back and lovingly cleaned Arrow's wounds.] "Its easy enough for you to tell us to just leave. But you obviously dont understand. Avalon exiled us. Some things cannot be forgiven. Now that we are trapped out her away from the glory lands you are privileged to live. where do you think we go to every day? We constantly have to worry about here we will raise our fledglings, weather the other will return home alive. We almost even lost our only doctor! You privileged birds have no right to speak!"
[Talon glared at Avalon.] "I refuse to leave! Not until you have suffered as I have suffered!!" [He prepared himself for attack when Fester swooped in next to him.] "Talon. Blade is dieing. He wont last another second. If i dont return him back to my den now he will die." [Talon turned his rage upon the doctor and shrieked at him.] "What!? Are you telling me what to do? Avalon and her pet are still alive!!!" [Fester narrowed his eyes distantfully.] "As you wish. I am only begging you to think of your minions. Please Talon, i beg you." [Talon glared at the blinded bird, as if he were ready to take his life any moment. Fester just stood there patiently for his orders.]
"FINE! you can retreat you cowardice birds! As for you Avalon and Galestar, I WILL return. You cant protect him forever Avalon. Now I know he has a precious mate. And Galestar, dont you find it alittle odd that your precious former apprentice has yet to return? I have had my spies watch you. I know how to pull your heart strings." [With that last threat he turned and flew off followed by his assassins. Siren carried Spadestripe along with her. ahead of the others for protection.]

[Avalon watched Talon with silent eyes.]
As he flapped way, she said, "You were never a good leader, Talon, and you never will be."
[She watched him retreat into the sky and let out another high-pitch shriek, signaling the end of the battle.
Suddenly, out of the shadows, a large black bird swooped forward and barreled into Siren. Both birds crashed back into the undergrowth.]
Letting out a furious shriek, Avalon cried, "Caw! You will obey my orders!"
[Caw ignored her leader, trying to force the other bird to drop the captured cat. Avalon swooped over to Caw, but Siren broke free and escaped. Before Caw could pursue, Avalon held her wing down with one of her sharp talons. Avalon, much bigger in size than Caw, leaned into the bird's face.]
"If you ever want your honorary name, you will obey me NOW Caw!"
Caw shrieked, "Obey, obey! If I obey you, that Clan cat will suffer!"
"Siren could have killed her in spite, you small-talon!" Avalon shrieked. "Besides, the she-cat is pregnant! If we try to wrench her free, we might kill her kits!"
[Caw tried to struggle out of Avalon's grip, but Avalon pressed down harder. Caw finally submitted, lowering her beak in shame. Avalon released her.]
"I would rip your feathers off if not for your victory," Avalon screeched.
[Caw blinked.]
"What?"
"You injured one of theirs," Avalon said impatiently.
Caw shrieked, "I did no such thing!"
Avalon glared and replied, "Then who injured him?"
Caw shrugged and shook her haid, saying, "Wish it was me, but it was not."
Avalon sighed and said, "That does not make your position any better, then. You keep complaining about your fledgeling title! If you ever want an honorary name, you should listen close to what I say."
Caw sighed and said in a quietly fuming voice, "Last time I did that, Avalon, my mate was killed."
[Before Avalon could reply, Galestar let out a scream of pain at what the eagle had said.]
"What did you do to Serpentfang?!" he shrieked angrily.
[The leader whipped his head around, his eyes wide.]
Soothing her son, Avalon said, "Shh, Galestar. It is alright. Caw, go scout out for Serpentfang."
[Caw tilted her head, a bit curious, then flapped into the sky. Avalon comforted her son, wrapping one of her massive wings around him. He tried to wiggle free, to go search himself, but she forced him to stay.]
"Your Clan needs you," she said simply.
[He sighed and submitted, hanging his head like Caw had done. Avalon peered at the other cats, her brilliant brown eyes inspecting them curiously.]_______________________________________Don't test my wrath! The Gales of the wind are my heart.

Pebbleheart “Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble."
_________________________________________________________ [Pebbleheart growled as the falcons left, glad BreezeClan was safe. However Pebbleheart's ears perked up with surprise as Spadestripe was still being carried by the sharp talons.] "S-Spadestripe!" Pebbleheart yowled. [Without hesitation, she ran after the falcons, knowing their still high up in the air. Her eyes glared with anger, feeling that her kits are being dangered...along with their mother.] "You heartless birds! Give back Spadestripe!!" Pebbleheart hissed loudly. [Knowing the birds are too high and faraway, Pebbleheart slowed down her pace.] "I'm too late..." she whispered. [Trees around her, not to far from camp. She unshed her claws and slashed the bark of the tree.] "I'm too late! Spadestripe!!" she cried, tears flowing from her eyes. [Pebbleheart stopped herself from crying, looking up at the sky, watching as the bird's faint silouette starting to disappear.] "I'll get you Spadestripe...I won't let Pepperpaw grief over your absence.." she growled furiously under her breath. [Pebbleheart's eyes grew wide, noticing she should be worrying over something else.] "My kits!" she said, as she sprinted back to camp. [She then stood at the front of the nursery, giving everyone a worried and upsetting look.] "All cats in this den are now free to leave...however our dear Saltpaw is now on her way to StarClan...please say your last words to the brave apprenctice..." Pebbleheart said. "Make sure all kits are being watched by queens or warriors, we aren't exactly sure if we're safe.." Pebbleheart warned. [She then went through the crowd slowly, trying to look for her kits. "Siegekit?!" she cried. [The nursery didn't have her kits. Pebbleheart went to the other dens.] "Swallowkit?!" she called out. [No response. Pebbleheart looked around the camp frantically, with worried and teary eyes.] "Shadekit?!?!" she cried, sobbing silently as she searched for her kits so desperately. [Tears started to drop from her eyes, as the poor mother looked around the camp frantically for her kits.] "Please come to me my kits!" Pebbleheart cried as she looked around the camp. "Those damn eagles..." Pebbleheart whispered, as she sat at the edge of the clearing. [Her face gazing down at the ground, her tears escaping the dark shade of her green eyes and staining the ground.] "My kits...my babies..." she cried silently. _________________________________________________________

[Frostclaw remained at Galestar's side. It was her turn to be responsible. She pressed up against him as he hang his head. She didn't think that Galestar should have acted that way. He was the leader of a clan and should have held his head high. Though his former apprentice was missing.]
"She'll turn up." she cooed, feeling her own anger disappear, "What that monster said was a lie, Serpentfang is strong, she knows how to take care of herself."
[Frostclaw licked Galestar, trying to comfort him. she looked to Avalon who was inspecting the clan. Slowly she stepped forward. She had never spoken with Avalon, and didn't know how to address her, but she tried anyway. She dipped her head low and spoke with gratitude.]
"Thank you for protecting this clan. I'm sure we all agree that we owe you our lives."
[Silently Frostclaw stepped back, resuming her previous position beside her mate.]

 "To live is to slowly be born."_____________________________Embergaze_____________________________[Embergaze limped into the clearing, his thigh bleeding from the deep scar the eagle had inflicted. He carried a dead rabbit in his jaws and dropped it off at the fresh-kill pile. The kittens came romping behind him (( I think it's Shadekit, Valorkit, Seigekit, and Swallowkit : 3 )). He looked up, meeting the gaze of the powerful eagles that stood in the clearing.
His jaw dropped.
He glanced around at the other cats, his eyes wide. The ground was torn-up, almost as if a battle had happened. Glancing around in a daze, his ears lay flat on his head. What will they think when they realize I wasn't able to protect camp?! he thought in fear. He completely forgot that he had left to rescue the kits.
He limped up to his other clanmates, glancing at the eagles nervously.]
"What happened?" he asked in his unnaturallly deep voice.

Suddenly she cried, "Galestar, my son, you did not tell me you had a mate!"
[She batted her son with her giant wing happily. He let out an "oomf!" as the big thing hit him.]
"Y-yes, of course," he replied hastily. "Avalon, meet Frostclaw, my mate."
Avalon puffed out her chest and said proudly, "Ah, I approve of your choice! I always knew you would pick a fighter, Galestar."
Suddenly she leaned in close to Frostclaw, inspecting her stomach, and said curiously, "Is she pregnant yet?"
[Galestar leaned back, his ears flat in horror, an embarrassed and flustered look crossing his face. Before he could protest, Caw returned, flapping with ease onto the ground.]
"The cat you speak of is fine; she is returning with a small black kitten," the black bird told Avalon.
[Galestar let out a sigh of relief, and avoided his mother's questioning stare.
The big bird, however, turned her attention to Embergaze, who approached them.]
"You have missed a big battle, my friend, " Avalon told him wisely, "but it seems you have taken care of another issue in your stead."_______________________________________Don't test my wrath! The Gales of the wind are my heart.

"To live is to slowly be born."_____________________________Embergaze_____________________________[Embergaze shifted on his feet embarrassedly as the bird lightly praised him.]
"W-well," was all he could say.
[He lowered his gaze from her powerful one, staring at his big, massive paws. A few tufts of eagle featherfur stuck out from between his paws, pieces of them still attached to his claws, but Avalon did not notice this and turned away from him.
Glad to be out of the spotlight, he sat and began to lick at his deep wound in his leg, wincing in pain.]
"Is Iceears around?" he asked curiously.
[That was when he spotted Saltpaw's body.
He let out a cry and hauled himself up, approaching her dead body. Burying his nose in her fur, he cursed himself.
Oh, if only I had prevented the kits from leaving, I might've stayed to keep her from being killed-!! he thought in pain. I have failed my clan...]
