She snorts through her nose and straps on her kit, looking at Mica for what to do next.

The elderly priest is thinking hard. "I can port myself and one other... I think, but I'm not sure I can port more than that. It's been years since I've done anything more than just hop from room to room. And I haven't done a blind jump in ages. You said it's near the river. Is it close to the falls or pass it? Any landmarks around that I might know of?"

Mica shakes his head. "No... sorry. I'm a visual jumper... never got into the technical stuff. didn't need to and now... at my age I've seen no reason to change it. Hmmmm... what to do?"

"How far from the falls do you think you were? Could you hear it?" asks Shar quietly. "You had to be down river from it. Surely Tam wouldn't have had you bathe above the falls, the current would have been too strong." Both Hopian's and Mica's head come up with a head smacking start.

"Old Grandad... why in the hell would anyone be living out there?" says Shar in confusion, but Mica merely smiles.

"OK, I can get ye there... I know exactly where he is. He took ye downriver from his and Kero's favorite fishing hole." laughs Mica. "Well... probably not exactly at the fishing hole... those two are so dang secretive about their favorite spots they don't tell a soul where they go. But I remember that one because Kero asked me about talking fish and took me to meet him. If I get close... think ye can guide us in?""

Mica nods and tells Shar to stand still and not to get frightened, "I'm going to place a hand on your shoulder and don't shrug it off whatever you do. If we break contact who knows where you'll wind up. Now I'll warn ye. Yer going to experience an empty darkness and a sensation of cold that is going to chill ye right to the bone, so put that cloak on now. Hopian, that reminds me, you better bring blankets, so we can wrap up Talesian for the return trip. No need giving him bone fever when all we are doing is moving him to a safer place. Anyway... Shar... it will less than a minute but feel like hours. Once you get used to it, you'll understand. For now, just take my word for it." He turns to Hopian and nods. Then looks back at Shar. "Ready?" he asks lifting his hand.

Mica nods and they too disappear....

Shar stumbled away from Mica, looking about for somewhere to sit. Her face as green as grass.

"Sorry," says Mica apologetically, looking about for Hopian. "Forgot to warn ye about the stomach thing." He sees a flash of white on the far side of the river and waves his arms to ge the lion's attention. "Talesian would take him to the far side wouldn't he? Wonder if that's where that big cat lives, the one John keeps complaining of... not that she's killed any of his stock."

Mica watches as Shar examines the unconscious bard and shakes his head. "Well, I expect you will be wanting me to do that, though where do you want me to take him. Not to the temple, surely. He's not told anyone but Shar and I of his identity is all the years he's lived in our tiny village."

Shar looks up and shakes her head. "No... don't take him there. Really... the temple is probably the last place he needs to be right now. He's maintained his secret for a reason and I would honor it if I can. But there's no doors on the clinic and people pass in and out of there all day long. And even though it pains my heart to say this, our temple has a thriving grape vine. No... I'd say take him home. Six weeks of being home bound may drive him stir crazy, but at least he'll be safer there. Is there anyone who can stay with him?"
