I liked that movie. I grew up watching things like Are You Being Served, Keeping Up Appearances, and Waiting for God. And my mum is Australian, so... I'm not shying away from it, he just really doesn't want to hurt her despite how angry he gets with her. There is a reason for him suppressing his violent side, but I've never really had the opportunity to show it or really hint at it on Gaia since most people tend to drop him like he's poisonous as soon as there's even a hint of back story for him. It also doesn't help that he actually really doesn't like to talk about himself.
It would be interesting to force them to work together though, he tends to try and end conversations with Minty before he loses control of his temper and punches her or worse.
Alright.
On a side note, I don't understand how and/or why you like Prince so much... The writer seems nice enough, but the character seems like your typical a*****e trying to get into peoples pants to me.

He could try yelling. Lots of people like yelling? That is the thing with kink anons though, people like getting them, but want enough ambiguity that they can fit their own fantasies on to them. The key to playing a long-lasting kink is to have a few personality traits that stand out and then not too much detail. That's available to the average fan anyways.
And vice versa! Which is probably why they don't talk anymore. I think the last time Minty quoted Nef we were having an ooc conversation. I would suggest the new guild rp but I have no idea what situation would force them to work together.

I don't know that show. Most of the stuff I watched was because it came on PBS and we didn't have a wide range of channels. I can only think of a few times where he has yelled, and it's usually to be heard over something... He actually has a lot of control over himself because of what he is in his story. His powers might lash out when he's angry kind of like Raven from Teen Titans, except his powers target the focus of his anger and not a random object around him.
I try, but people seem to view him as a Prince or Lace clone when he's not and I hate it cause I hate Prince. Don't know Lace so I can't say if I hate him or not. I might try to turn him into a more story type anon than poetry anon soon, though... I seem to have run dry on poems in general, burnt out.
I also don't have much reason to get on him, so that helps with the not communicating. And he has zero reason to involve himself in the new guild rp... So unless you can think of a reason to even get him there, that's not an option for potential partnership.
But the public mask gives people zero reason to want to learn anything about him. Or at least me, cause I have little interest in the whole sex thing and I don't like a*****e characters like him.

Well, not sending out poems would probably help not being compared. You might have better luck now since they're not as well known as they were. But really, new players are gonna be compared to the superstars until they establish their own legacy. Which is probably harder now than it once was. Part of the reason Lace and later Prince got so big was the anon thing looked different when they started and neither were afraid to send out sort of 'cold anons' to people who weren't even in anon threads. They took a lot of risks and got a lot of reward for it. If people are comparing you to them it's an honor.
Giiiirl, I'm having a hard enough time getting my own characters into that rp.
Which is the way they like it. So it's working.
