Free of worries and warmed by Hopian's presence, Tam drifts off the sleep encircling the cat with his wings pulling and keeping him close, grateful for the chance to simply be himself.

*The next morning, Tam awakes to find...Hopian pinned down by a Lioness...who seems to be...nuzzling hum, for some reason...*

He rolls to one side and eyes them both with a grin. "Ummm... shall I take myself somewhere else you two?" he asks with a smile.

*Hopian gently shakes his head, moving out from underneath Fortuny, and embraces her...then points to Tam...she moves over to him....and stops, wringing her tail in her front paws*

Tam reaches up to give her a hug. "It's ok, I think I understand what you've been going through. It's hard to be separated from those we love... and when we see them with people we know they care deeply about, it is so easy to let the green eyed monster take hold. Ye know... nothing is tying you down to home 24/7. Who's watching Salunia right now? Maybe you can convince them to watch her for a longer period of time and stay here with us for a bit. I can sleep in Kero's room and you two can take the upstairs."

Tam smiles. "Can't be any worse than Kero and his lady friend... Feel free to do what ever you want. If it gets to me... I'll just go for a walk." He sits up and stretches, both arms and wings rising with the motion.

Tam cries foul. "Hey... no fair... " he laughs, trying to absorb his wings between fits of giggles. Then a sickening crack calls a stop to the shenanigans and he sits up with a pasty green look on his face. "Ow... now that's a first... forgot to warn ye guys... our bones... they're not...." and keels over in a dead faint.

*Hopian is there in a flash....and both of them summon her....and oddly enough....Safirea appears, and so does her mate....both of them placing their paws onto Tam's chest....seeking to heal him*

As Tam has tried to tell them, an angel's bones were much like a bird's, hollow and light, designed to handle the bone crushing forces of flight, but not a rough housing roll on the ground. The trouble is... bones heal best when splinted and left to heal on their own. Rapid healing of an injured bone distorts its density, something that is important to all flying creatures. Since no arteries were in danger, that is exactly what they do, though Hopian and Fortuny both argue that Tam would be just fine if they fix it right then and there. A glare soon quiets their arguments though. A touch of magic to keep him asleep, and then they are left alone to figure out on their own just how the heck they are supposed to get the angel back home, in one piece, and without being seen.
