"Go with peace..." says Tam softly and he embraces Pyropian before he takes off. "Tell Honorian it's my fault... I've a terrible sense of time. I, too, have something I should do... I need to check up of Kero... to see how he and his lady friend are getting along. Don't want him wearing out his welcome... She's twice his size."

*Pyropian chuckles*

Doesn't matter...she couldn't overpower him if she tried....is body is flooded with adrenaline now...that's why he's so strong...get Hopian to explain it to you sometime...I must leave you now....*Bursts into flames, forming into a cub, and disappears...though he almost immediately reappears, clutched in the mouth of an adult lion. This one is obviously the leader of the fire children, as his mane itself is made of fire. His fur is brindled copper, and his paws and tail-tuft are, strangely, green flames. On his head gleams an emerald, as deep green as the ocean. Looking at it, Tam feels a call to duty, and to honor what must be done. There can be no doubt who this is. Honorian, child of the Emerald, and of Honor*

Tam bows formally. "I am honored, Honorian, to have you grace my humble home. Forgive me for detaining your young one pass his allotted time."

*Honorian gently sets Pyropian on the ground, and eyes Tam cooly (How he does it with a mane of fire is beyond me!)*

I am honored to be recieved in such a fine establishment. If I may inquire as to why you kept Pyropian past his curfew?

"We were discussing mutual points of discernment, sirrah. His and my areas of expertise are much the same and I fear my sense of time got away from me. He is quite mature for his age and I forgot how young he truly is." says Tam in a gentle voice. He smiles down at the cub and shakes his head. "Of course in this form, it is truly obvious. Forgive me, sir. It will not happen again. May I have your permission to entertain the child at a furture time, providing I keep a closer watch on the passage of time?" It is obvious that as a bard, Tam has rubbed shoulders with far more than the mere common folk he tends to embrace as his own.

*Honorian nods...then suddenly, the flames go out, and his eyes fade to a more normal feline green*

Of course you have permission...and now that the mutual BS is over with, what exactly happened?

Tam chuckles softly. "I needed help and Pyropian came... summoned I suspect by a mutual friend. I've learned that no matter how skilled I am in helping others in the realm of love, I am utterly and impossibly stubborn and pigheaded in my own. Kero entered warp and I messed things up a bit. All is well now, but while we were talking about the mess I made, we found out we've more in common I think than we first thought. He's a great kid.... and well easy to talk to... I suspect I talked his ear off though and he was a bit too polite to say so."

*Honorian ignites again, and picks up Pyropian, nodding...he disappears in a flash of flame....only to be replaced...by the strangest child Tam has ever seen...her eyes are clear...and her fur seems to sparkle...of all the gem children, she is the most beautiful...for she truly appears as a gemstone does*

Again Tam bows, holding it for a long moment, turning the graceful movement into a true greeting of respect and admiration. "Be welcomed." he murmurs standing up and smiling at her. "Are you here to scold me as well?"

*She shakes her head*

I am here to tell you this: If you keep my son out like this again, it won't just be his rump on the line. Is that clear?

"I understand... and as a parent... albeit one who is fostering another's... I fully agree to accept any and all responsibility. Forgive me, my Lady... but as I told your son. I must leave now to go check on my own. Still, before I do so... I wish to assure you... if it happens again... you have every right to kick my behind to the moon and back. We were having a lovely talk in his human form which completely disarmed me to the truth of his actual age. It won't happen again." Tam bowed once more and when he comes back up... he w inks... all formalities aside... I'm surprised you are being so nice about this, Fortani. My own mother would have had my head off at the knees already."

*Fortani smiles*

I could shock you to oblivion if I wanted to....and who said anything about kicking your rump...

I do understand about kids, however...go see him...

*With a bolt, she disappears*

Tam rolls his eyes and shakes his head. "Mothers..." he grumbles putting the mugs into his sink. Then he goes outside and takes to the air, heading over to the cave to check on Kero. He's tired, but no longer as drained feeling as he once was. A quiet evening had done a great deal towards helping him find his center, even if Honorian and Fortani seemed hell bound to knocked him right off it with their parental overload.

*It as if no time has passed...the sounds are still there....seems Kero's got some stamina*

**Let's hope a certain little lady doesn't object to this...**

Tam shakes his head and flies back home, watching the sunset as he flies, wishing there was someone to talk to when he gets there. But as he's so tired, it really doesn't matter. He lands on the roof and climbs in his window and undresses for bed, not bothering to light a lamp. Tomorrow he has a lot to do and shopping is high on the list. He tells his stomach to shut up and crawls between the sheets.
