Prinniesdood wakusei Prinniesdood Will Muffin be doing a narration in the beginning of the story? ex. he introduces himself and explains his goals, obstcles, etc. Hehe, how very shoujo manga-y... whee Is that bad? I'm sorry I can't really think that well right now...sleepyness seeping in... No no, it's not bad. It just brought a funny little mental image to mind of Muffin as a schoolgirl preparing herself for the day and narrating... sweatdrop

Actually that was going to be the first thing I was going to address, and the first part of addressing that, would be to ask this: Do we want this to be a professional looking thing? Or are we just going to slop togeather some vanity comics?

MrJimmy When it comes to this weather to make it "manga" or "web" argument I think we should try to go half and half, I don't expect this thing to get published, so let's try to do it in a sort of traditional drama-web-comic sense. We can have awkwordly shaped panals, or seperators shaped around figures, or we can just to six panels per page format. depending on our goal at the time. One shot jokes are usually told better with a basic six-panel. But if you're tryign to do charactor interaction and things lie that, plot devises, ect. the more action ready the panels are, the better. The panal placement and design should be very altering, fancy and manga-ey, but we could have the funny-shaped pages.
I think it would be best to stick with the 'this is going to be hosted on the web only' outlook. We still want it to look 'wow, manga-ey' but only better cuz it's got teh internetz. You can click on the comic and little windows will pop up with explenations as to what the hell is going on! biggrin !

It'll look cool, but the subject matter, plot, dialouge... and not to mention hundreds of subtle ATG references, will be all ATG-ey, pretty much how they want it unless it's just TOO bad.....
I mean it's about a boy who's part squid. Obviously it's partially for our own enjoyment. (Nothing tooo cheesy in the script, though. Some cheese is good.)

I'm going to sleep in a minute. What are the final questions you guys have before I go?
(I might not be here at all tomorrow- I mean I've been here seriously ALL DAY -REALLY ALL DAY- helping organize this thing so tomorrow I'm taking a break, probably drawing Waku and TA from Jimmy's story....
but I might show up later just in spite of myself for some reason. Who knows.)

Ooookay, well that was probably the most precice vague answer I've ever heard... sweatdrop I think I understand what you mean. You want people who are reading it for the first time without knowing it's origins to be able to understnad the BIG plot things, but some of the jokes beyond the regular manga-esue situations will be predominatly vanity jokes. Am I warm?

OKAY! Great.
Here's the deal I'm going to make with you guys, I'm going to write up a script for the first few pages. These pages will mostly be quitessential into pages. Not a huge lot of jokes, just the most nessessary impliment to the begining of our little series. I'll post it up here, you all can read through it, tell me what might need changeing or if I get anything wrong. I'll rewrite those parts, and we can send them off to the next person.
Cool?
