Marquis Cooper (Raiders LB) is missing and so is Corey Smith (Lions Free Agent) as well as a South Florida football player William Bleakley. They were out at sea and a strong storm hit while they were at sea. Former South Florida player Nick Schuyler was rescued today off the Florida coast. Cooper was said to be an excellent swimmer so lets hope for the best and that these guys are found alive.

It's not looking good for those that are missing. I hope they are safe some where. Also the FA period is moving pretty fast in the NFL. Didn't expect that with the way the economy is.

Sad news. Things don't look so good for them. My prayers are with the people on board, their families, their friends, and their teams.

Sadly, the Coast Guard called off their search for the 3 missing football players (2 NFL players and 1 former college player). The boat departed on Saturday, off the western coast of Florida, and never returned. The boat was recovered yesterday with 1 survivor (Nick Schuyler). Marquis Cooper, Corey Smith, and William Bleakley were still out there.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to their families and friends.

It's saddening and sorry to bare the truth, but with over a week lost at sea, just about all hope is lost. They already held a memorial service for one of the missing men.

I think Emmit Smith? im not sure.

It was Jerry Rice who won in the shows first season. Smith lost in the finals to some ice skater.
