Mage Raven walked into the cold dark night but soon found a place to stay a nice little inn he hid his normal cloths with magic and used copper coins to get his room for the night,once inside he let his magic fade and started to heal him self completely and even used some magic to bring him some sneaky food form the kitchen. After eating he got in bed and passed out,when he opened them next it was morning and he got up and cleaned up and dressed and once again used magic to hid his cloths and hair as both would make him stand out,after eating he left and headed to the castle and with a quick change he was once again in his normal cloths he didn't mind the stares of those in the castle it was those outside he wanted to hid form. He soon found his way to the throne room and the guards outside told him he was not acapting people right now and after a few words the guards sent some one in to ask the king for a visit."My lord a stranger is here to speak with you and I must say he looks rather odd to me."The servant says with a slightly shaky voice.

The king was sitting on his throne room he had one of his mistress whispering things in his ear as he chuckled at the joke his wife on his right was keeping a straight face trying not to let the notion of her cheating husband get to her as their two sons sat in the chairs looking rather bored one was flirting with the staff the other looked like he was about to fall asleep; There was mages in the room as well there was only a total of 5 but they were still the most opposing capital in the world because of them; The oldest mage a man well into his 70s looked up when the guard entered and told the king"Your highness i feel a very strong presences" the king stopped talking with his mistress and asked"What is it an enemy?" he asked as the mage answered"We hope not" before watching as Soris entered; In the corner was Evelyn as she was serving wine to the nobles a few of the men pinched her sore bum and she had to keep from crying as it still hurt from the kicking yesterday; She looked up to see what all the commotion was about as Soris was made to entered; She almost dropped the tray looking away as she caught the things and hurried to a corner; What was it with that man making her drop stuff?! She watched as he entered the 5 wizards stood up all of them looked in awe"His magic! Its so.." the man couldn't finish he began to tremble"Are you here to destroy the kingdom?" asked the older wizard as she gazed into Sori's eyes; The king stood up as well"You are most welcome!!!" he said"Please introduce yourself!" everyone in the room had eyes on him; All the women in the room where blushing even the queen who was mystified;

Mage Solace enters when asked to the metal and gems in his outfit glinted off the morning sun and the soft clank of the steel of his boots gave off a soft echo,he looked around the room at the people and noticed the five mages form yesterday one looked rather old but held him self well the others looked much yonger the him but older then Raven him self,he also cough the sight of evelyn and he cracked a grin for a moment before looking back to the king and queen and he kneels once at the steps to there throne and spoke his voice was crisp and clear and powerful but was still kind."Sorry for my intrusion my name is Raven Solace i am a traveling mage."He says looking up and he flashes a warm smile."I don't seek harm on any one lest they seek harm on me."He says giving the old man a smile before looking back to the king."I am a traviler as i said and would love to get to know you're kingdom so with your blessing I would like to stay for a time."He then lefts his hand and a small ball of magic forms and floats to the king and then pops dumping a load of gold into his lap."This is in good trust."He says and with out the king seeing two very bright gems softly set into the queens lap.

The room was astonished at his presence but when he displayed the gift of giving free gold and jewels in which the queen picked up and inspected with splendor the king could barely contain himself with joy"You are most welcome Raven!!" he said as the king bowed to him thus everyone in the room had to bow to the wizard even the 5 mages who could have nodded their heads bowed to him respectfully "You are very powerful in deed for one so young as well" commented the older mage as he watched him with pride and wonder; The king then began to exclaim"We shall get you a fine bed your own staff! Just let me know anything you need and it shall be granted!" he told the raven; the queen smiled as she told him"Any woman in the kingdom is at your disposal my lord" she gave him a sly expression as she commented"Even myself can entertain you if you need so be" her husband turned to glare at her as she scoffed with a soft laugh and took a sip of her wine; The lords and ladys in the room where chattering in immense excitment as Evelyn managed to get her head together and briskly walk towards the door she needed to get more wine;

Mage Raven turns to the older mage and smiles."I have been told that for as long as i can remember."He says before hearing the queens comment and he turns to her with a little laugh."My lady I couldn't dream of it."He says but they way he said and the rather seductive smile gave off a different aura but the king likely wouldn't pick up on it due to him being rather ignorant to flirting he then spoke to the king."If I am to have a staff then let me inspect them my self if you would."He says as he noticed that Evelyn heading to the door and he calls out to her with a smile."Excuse me lady....oh forgive me you are out of wine I shill wait for you to return."He says warmly letting he go on her way before looking at the nobles and walking towards them with a smile.

Evelyn froze in her tracks hearing his voice she slowly turned to look over her shoulder when he told her to move on she gave a little cursey dip"My apologys my lord" she commented before bolting for the door once out she raced to the kitchen feeling cold sweat on the back of her neck she shivered as her friend came up"What up eve?" she said as evelyn started to get more wine for the pitcher"You remember that guy molly?" she said as the girl nodded"He was a dam wizard" her friend gasped and then squealed in delight"You just have all the good luck eve" embarrassed and nervous Evelyn managed a shaky laugh"Yea luck you call it.." she fixed the pitcher as she prepared to return to the throne room; The king looked towards him as he noted he would like to inspect his satff"Of course!! by all means summon the head mistress!!" said the king as the woman was brought in and not far behind was Evelyn with more wine; She produced a deep cursey before the king"Yes your highness" she said with her head lowered"Could you produce some lovely and hard working staff for our new extinguished guest?" the woman nodded virgoursly"Of course!" she told him turning she headed over to Raven and bowed"Pleased to meet you I am headmistress Callaway is there any particular taste that you see in staff?" she asked him directly with a solemn face; Evelyn went about filling up more goblets no one was pitching her bum or even noticing her they were all to excited about Raven"Imagine!!" said a noble woman"that such a handsome wizard would come here" she fanned herself as her and her friend agreed and began to chatter about how handsome and tall he was; Evelyn tried not to roll her eyes hearing the gossip she gave him a worried expression wondering if his ribs were feeling better from earlier;

Mage Raven watched as the headmistress and bows his head to her."Good to meet you lady Callaway."He says and this time he cough Evelyn and got some wine with a smile."Thank you young lady,he then looks at her as if it was the first time meeting and he looks over at Callaway."I would like ladies like this young woman here.I need ladies who are hard working."He says with a smile before looking at Evelyn."Sorry to keep you young lady please go on about your duties."He says never losing his smile,he then turns to the mages and waves them over."I am sorry to ask you gentlemen but could i ask you where you learned to control your magic?"He asks the oldest of them.

The head mistress looked up at Evelyn"Ah yes Evelyn has always been such a hard worker I am sure I can find a few a couple of maids a a few butlers to your choosing" said the woman briskly she then snapped her fingers as evelyn who averted her gaze from raven turned away and went about her business; The mages gathered together conversing as raven approached they all nodded their head respectfully to them the eldest told him"I'm Oliver Warro but we go by our last names here" said the wizard as the others named themselves"When a child is found in the kingdom with the ability of magic they are most treasured when i was found out years ago I was brought to the castle to learn under the teachings of the ancient books that was created by the most powerful wizard to have ever lived a man named merlin" concluded the wizard"We had to test things ourselves but we are under the kings protection and in turn we protect the kingdom from invaders with our own magic" he explained;Evelyn found herself sighing deeply after going through another goblet of wine she went back to the kitchen as the headmistress came into it "Evelyn you and molly will be serving as the kings new wizard Raven Solace you will attend to his food clothes and prepare his bath we will have 2 men attend to bathing dressing and helping him with his horse if necessary if he requires more staff allissa and mary will be joining you" he concluded "You and molly head to the seamstress room on order of me and tell her you are to have new clothes I wont you both scrubbed clean and back here in the next 2 hours understood?" Evelyn nodded as she bowed and rushed to her old room she gathered what precious little she had and headed to the seamstress she and her best friend would have new clothes better food and beds and she wouldn't have to scrub pots and only have porridge for breakfast; A new wing will be dedicated to the new mage he will receive the last of the wings available to wizards unless a new is built; She headed to the seamstress the woman scoffed as she began to measure her and molly for their new clothes "You lucky little harlots.. .got hand picked huh? I think its because ya have a pretty face" evelyn tried her best not to get angry and remained quiet most people just said that to p*ss her off and she had to learn to control her temper over the years; They were bathedd and placed in new uniforms as they returned to the headmistress who inspect bryan and John who were coming with them they tried not to blush as they seen evelyn and molly cleaned and pretty as they all 4 were marched back to the throne room;

Mage Raven listened to the mage and nods as he spoke."I see so you don't have any teachers."He says putting a hand to his chin in thought then he spoke again."If I could I would like to see these books."He says before he turns as he sees the headmistress and the ladies and gentlemen walk in and he gives them a smile before heading over to them and looks them over."Will I have to say you clean up rather nicely."He says as he turns to Callaway."Thank you lady Callaway please take them to my room I will join them soon to give orders."He then turns and makes his way towards then king and queen and gives them a bow."Lord and lady I am going to head to my room if you need me please send for me and i will be happy to lend you a hand."He says with another bow.

Evelyn watched as the headmistress bowed her head and snapped her finger the 4 of them either bowed or curtsey to their new master and headed with callaway to his wing; The king and queen smiled at the wizard"You are welcome to join us in the throne room as much as you like Master Raven" said the king" as the queen winked at him and gave a sultry bite of her lower lip; The eldest wizard approached him"Have one of your servants bring you to our library there is a restricted section only for the wizards and royal members of the family" he told raven as he and the other split off him leaving for the library the others talking amongst themselves; Evelyn followed mistress callaway as they were escorted to the main chambers for the wizard raven once inside his master bedroom the head mistress turned to them"Do our staff proud be on your best behavior and alwasy be formal greeting him as Master Raven" she looked at all of them"Any miss conduct that I hear from Master Raven will be your termination is that understood?" the 4 of them nodded as she waited by the fireplace for the wizard to come in and dismiss her; Evelyn found her heart pounding early she was regretting letting that stranger in because she got in alot of trouble for it but knowing he was a wizard was saving her in the long run she took in a soft breathe of hair and closed her eyes trying to calm her nerves before she heard Raven approach and enter through the door;

Mage Raven nods and then smiles at the queen again before turning to the mage."I understand I may head over later today thank you."He says before leaving the throne room and heads to his room and after a few minutes he walks in and greets them all."Hello again sorry for the wait lady Callaway but you may leave now."He says and once she was gone he looked at the four of them and smiles."So you four how about you tell me you're names."He says as he pulls a chair out and sits down looking over at them.

Callaway left and the 4 stood there as Raven took a seat and told them to step forward and introduce themselves John was the first being the oldest at nearly 30 years"John Cypher sir" he told him bowing as Bryan who was around Evelyn and Molly's age bowed as well"I am Bryan McDonough sir" Evelyn implemented a curtsey down casting her eyes"Evelyn Soris my lord" molly mimicked her quickkly as well"Molly Elvin my lord"; The 4 looked up towards Raven to see what their first order of business would be; John spoke once more"My lord we are accustomed to helping you anyway you see fit if you find you wish not to instruct us we will carry on as is fit for your status and station" he informed raven as they would clean and go about take caring of him and his things when not inscructed;

Mage Raven nods as they all introduce them self's and then he stands up and the chair slides back to the table by its self and Raven turns to them all."With that out of the way now tell me you're skills so I know best where to put you."He says as he walks over to a corner of the room and a staff appears and he gently leans it against the wall and he turns to them waiting for answers.

they all looked at each other as they began to tell him a list of things they could do; John and bryan both could shoe horses care for them as well as any stable work they could lift and carry anything of course that his lordish would need and John was trained to work as a gentlemans butler so he also knew how to read and write if that was required out of him; Evelyn and molly told him about their kitchen and cleaning work as evelyn was trained to work as a ladys maid if nescarry but seeing as Master Raven didnt' have a wife there wouldn't be a need for those services; Evelyn however did not know how to read or write for women were the last to learn anything and in most places some noble women didnt even know how to read or write because of the status of women; Evelyn looked up at him she was itching to ask if his ribs were better but if she did that she would reveal they knew each other before hand seeing how he has acted thus far she assumed he wanted forget what happened the night before so her gaze drifted back down to her shoes;
