Elkand nodded and followed after Larkanna as fast as he could until they entered the portal. Once inside he listened to get suggestion and nodded flipping his hood up but decided not to test his magic so as not to give himself away. He did change his energy a bit to appear as a wraith as there was one advantage to posing as one and that was the fear you could instill into others. He sank into the shadow of the cave and followed her as she moved.

Larkanna walked forward after he had seemlessly become one with the shadows, sending a chill up her spine. Her steps were as silent as death, but the magic surrounding her began to hum slightly. Stopping, she frowned and tried to draw in the aura of power surrounding her, but there was something drawing it out again. Like a magnet. Smiling, she thought to herself, They are quite cunning. Instead of being warned when there are physical presences, they are warned when magic is near. Continuing forward, taking in enough of her power to make her appear to have less than average abilities when it came to magic. Just when they entered a small cavern, all of the torches alongside the walls lit and five dark hooded figures jumped down and surrounded her, not noticing Elkand at all.
"Who are you?" One asked in a harsh voice, pointing a spear at her.
"How did you get here?" Asked another, this one was smaller than the rest and had a lighter voice, suggesting that they were female.
Larkanna's eyes filled with fake tears, heartlessness consuming her like a wildfire. She didn't care whether they died or lived, or even what their motives were. Holding up her hands, she fell to her knees, giving the impressino that she had only stumbled upon this place. "I was just walking around and came across a portal! My teacher had once told me that those that are to come into great power should take every opportunity that they could! I saw it as an opportunity!" Selecting her words carefully now, she also gave the impression that she wasn't the brightest of people out there.
"Well, little witch, it takes some nerve to come into the last establishment of wizards!" Said the smallest of the sentries. "How can we trust that your story isn't a lie?"
"I can promise you anything!" She said, looking up at them with innocent eyes.
"Anything? You look like you don't have anything worth taking." Said the first sentry.
"I'll tell you everything about what the Witch Mother's plans are! I'll tell you the reason why you're here!"
The first sentry picked her up by the collar of her cloak. "We're here because she hated wizards! The plans, if they prove to be worth our while, might save your skinny hide, but don't expect anything of the sort."
Inwardly, she grinned. They hadn't the slightest idea as to who she was nor why she was here. This could work to my advantage. "I promised I'd tell you anything, and I keep my promises!" With a nod, the man placed her back down on the ground and tied her hands behind her back. Still surrounding her, they began to lead her through a glamour spell to hide away an entire city within a mountain. Glancing over her shoulder, she gave Elkand a nod to tell him to keep hidden, but to come along if he wished to see his people.

Elkand remained hidden in the shadows despite the temptation to pop out and surprise his fellow wizards. He listened to every word and had to admit that his little lark was a great actor though she must of had to put herself in that place and make it feel real. He followed after them keeping within the shadows wondering wondering what kind of wizards were left to hide an entire city within a mountain. Elkand was a little ashamed his people were brought down to this level but it was slightly his fault. He wanted to see how any were left..maybe just maybe they could rebuild.

Larkanna was led through a glamour spell and into a large city composed entirely of stone and wood, but it was a rather sad one. Many of the people within it looked like they had little to eat. Inwardly, she felt herself feel ashamed. She was one of the main causes of the wizards' downfall. And things were only going to get worse as the full truth of how they had come to get here were revealed. Especially to Elkand. Upon reaching the center of the city, in the center there being a dried fountain that appeared to have never once spouted water, people began to gather and see who the tresspasser was. Many were outraged when they realized that she was a witch and many tried to use spells against her, but everyone became silent when an old man made his way down the steps and towards the crowd. "What is your name, witch?" The man said in an ancient voice. "Why have you come here?"
Larkanna could feel a spell being placed on her. She wouldn't be able to lie and she could only assume that the man before her had placed it upon her, since none of the other wizards had enough magic to cast anything as powerful against her. "My name is Larkanna, sir." She replied. "I promised to tell you of the Witch Mother's plans." Then she felt herself being proded to continue. I'm sorry, Elkand. She thought before she added, "And her plans were to find this place and destroy it."
The wizards began to chatter and murmur, feeling disgust towards Larkanna. "Why? Why would she do this to us after driving us here in the first place? Was it not she that gave us this mountain to hide in?"
Memories clicked into place. Larkanna had placed a memory erase spell upon herself after hiding the wizarding race. "Yes, she did just that.... but she intends to finally finish the deed that she was originally created to do."

Elkand did not appear as he continued to listen. They were planning to utterly destroy the wizards...was it not enough to have them forced to live in a mountain? He didn't feel any anger towards Larkanna however as it was his fault she was involved. It was more his fault than anything else...he gave into the darkness and drove her to become what she was now. He moved into her shadow ready to act should one of the wizards try to harm her.

Larkanna lowered her head and looked down at her shadow, knowing full well that Elkand was there. Drawing every ounce of magic that she had, she closed her eyes, and said, "And I'm sorry... that I must be the one who brings your fate upon--" A spear made entirely of steel pierced her. Looking up at the old man, she couldn't help but smile, "So you haven't changed a bit have you... Loch?"
"Not even in the slightest." He said, taking on the form of a younger man, a mischieivous glint in his eyes. "I'm sorry, but you really must realize that we're quite intelligent, even for the likes of you. We owe you more than what you've received, and don't even think once that your little wraith is going to save you."
Standing back on her feet, she withdrew the spear and spat out blood. "It's a pity... because I was really looking forward to finally destroying all of you." She didn't heal herself as she tilted her head to the side, feeling all of the magic that she'd intended to use for the final blow leave her.
"Alright, now that there's no more magic in you, come on out... Ignis. Larkanna wouldn't just waltz in here without giving us fair warning. Let alone try and destroy us. She's not even outside of the Witch's City."
Larkanna's eyes turned entirely black as her body began to morph into a creature. "I congratulate your perception, Loch.... My, Elkand? Why don't you finally help your people? You abandoned them once and now look at you, you're not even going to try and help them from their prolonged fate?"

Elkand's shadow remained on the ground before a hand reached out of it "You know something...I really don't like being fooled.." he said "I'm obviously out of touch with her if I couldn't tell the difference." he said as a pure black figure appeared from the shadow before it began to form a skeleton like demon "I guess I could help my people by ripping the flesh from your bones." he said. He cracked his necks and arms opening his mouth revealing a pure darkness in it as dark serpents seemed to come out. Elkand was beyond furious but he was keeping a certain level of calm. He wondered who he was talking to back at the mansion and if he had ever made contact with his love. He hissed with anger and darkness started to spread from his feet and force the wizards back and actually started to form a black box around them to prevent any unneeded harm to the others.

Ignis chuckled as it lowered its head enough to look the wraith in the eyes. "Out of touch?" The creature began to laugh, whipping its tail out and around, trynig to throw Elkand into the nearest wall. "That's an understatement." The heads along the upper back of the creature all cried out or groaned with pain. Some even cried while otheres laughed. "If you live through this fight and I don't... she'll probably be less than happy to see you."

Elkand grabbed the creature tail as he held it for a moment thinking to himself "Then so be it.." he said and held out his hand as dark orbs started to come out from the ground before they turned into spears. He moved his finger sand sent the appear flying towards the creatures neck as Elkand held onto the tail with a very unnatural strength. The creature seemed to be giving of an aura of extreme evil and it was easy to see it was coming right from his soul.

Screeching as the spears pierced many of the faces on its body, The creature struggled to get its tail out of his grasp, but failed. Swinging itself around, it tried to headbutt the wraith-like creature. Breathing black flames that were both as hot as hellfire and as cold as the Arctic, it wanted nothing more than to take this creature down with it.

The flames did not touch Elkand's body as he let the creature come close to him. He put his hand on its head and it began to glow "I think its time for you to rest." he said and and tried using an eternal sleep spell on it by filtering his darkness into its mind.

The creature, whom had never slept a wink ever since its creation, began to turn into dust. Slowly, but surely, it breathed several final words before completely vanshing, "Look for the one you seek... where you least expect them."

The shadows around then began to fade away back into Elkand's feet. When the creature vanished the shadows around him sink into his skin leaving several cursed symbols on his flesh. He thought about the creatures words and his eyes narrowed "Great...I never got those statements." he said and flipped his hood up and looked at the wizards around though they would most likely shun him for his dark display.

The wizards began to murmur and many pointed at Elkand, wondering who on earth he was. The man that had been introduced earlier as Loch stepped forward, hands in his pockets. Once he was within speaking distance of Elkand, he began to applaud, a sarcastic tone escaping his lips as he said, "Congratulations, my lord!" Putting his hands back in his pockets, he said, "The lovely lady was right about your abilities. But the biggest riddle for you is, where on earth is she?" Turning to the wizards, he called, "Is she in the city?" Many responded that she had just been there a couple days prior to this event, but her current whereabouts were unknown. Turning back to Elkand, he said, "Your lovely bride... or is she even that anymore? I believe she was promised to another, but that's just a rumor heard down the vine. I'll help ya find her, if you'll enchant one of our amulets."

He stared at the man and crossed his arms trying to figure him out. Elkand eyes had gone completely dark now as he looked down at his mark which start to burn with a blue fire meaning it was being erased since it had been unfrozen for some time. He darkened his eyes and hair forcing the darkness into his soul. He looked "Whatever...shadow me what you want enchanted." he said "Though I don't know why you need me to do it...your a wizard aren't you?" he asked " Enchantment is basic level." he said but followed Loch anyway.
