Finn opened one of his eyes as he heard someone speak. After searching around the room for a moment, he finally found the person sitting by the window at one of the other tables. He nodded slightly in acknowledgment as she introduced herslelf, but otherwise kept still in his chair, watching the fire in the fireplace slowly burn itself out.

"Name's Finn." he stated briefly, and then continued, "I haven't seen very many people in this town; in fact, you fellows here in this inn are about the only ones I've seen in quite a while. Where is everybody?"

Cyra grinned slightly as she settled back in the chair, folding her hands under her chin, "I have no idea. I don't think anyone really knows, or will say anything. I haven't been able to sniff out anyone beyond those who live here, and the other two who I don't really feel like meeting again."

"Other two...?" Finn asked, his voice layered with unhidden curiousity. "You mean that you actually have met others out there?" He folded his arms across his chest as he waited for an answer, gaze flickering quickly to the innkeepr who was still asleep at her desk. He wondered briefly what kind of dreams she might be having, and if he might be able to steal one of them before she woke up. Absently, he began to toy with the small dream-catcher that hung from his neck.

Cyra just shrugged before half closing her eyes, "Met them yes, had them try to kill us, yes. I wouldn't advise trying to find them." Her eyes flickered to the dream catcher before looking at his face, curious although her eyes were still half closed. It was somewhat tempting to go ahead and close them. She was somewhat tired, enough that she would probably have to wander to her room some time before the sun rose.

Finn looked back at Cyra as she spoke, pondering what she had said. "Tried to kill you, eh?" he questioned, though he seemed more amused than worried for anyone's safety. "You fellows didn't go and get yourselves in a bar-fight, did you?"

He dropped his hand away from the dream-catcher that hung from his neck and returned his gaze to the smoldering fireplace. Though he did not show it, he was particularly curious as to what had actually happened to the inhabitants of this seemingly once-thriving town

She laughed slightly, "As far as I know that's not what started it. Certainly I wasn't drunk at the time." As he looked back at the fireplace she turned, staring at the closed window as if she could see perfectly out of it, feeling the pull of the moon. Not too long and it would be full, and while she could chose which form she stayed in, she was usually more comfortable as a wolf on that night. "What about you? Had anything odd happen on your trip in? Beyond the whole incident with the keys that is."

Finn frowned, remembering the whole instant with the keys. "You saw that, did you? I was actually planning on being more, I don't know...stealthy about the whole thing, but apparently I'm just not as good at thievery as I once was. they probably wouldn't have sold for much anyway..." He paused to quickly rub at his tired eyes before continuing. "The only thing strange I witnissed on the way in was a couple of wanks chatting in the graveyard. Perhaps they were the folks who tried to kill ya? I dunno, I wasn't really paying attention, so I didn't stick around for very long."

suddenly a strange site happened as three frogs hopped down the stairs and into the kitchen they worked quietly as they filled a small canteen full of water and tried to carry it back but were having trouble as it seemed the canteen was now too heavy for the frogs to lift

Finn turned his head quickly and noticed the three frogs trying to make their way up the stairs. He pondered the situation quietly, but had soon stood up to take a better look. Wasn't that demi-godess supposed to have this kind of power? he wondered, And wasn't she supposed to be sick at the moment? He shrugged his shoulders and reached down to take the canteen from them and carry it up the stairs.

"Where'ya going?" he asked, feeling slightly foolish, seeing that these frogs most likely couldn't understand him.

the frogs seemed to continue struggling not noticing or pay attention to Finn as they tried to carry the canteen up the stairs, finally the larger green frog turned and looked a Finn and croaked as if trying to talk to him, it was obvious the frogs were fetching water for their mistress

So, the frogs had understood him after all. He reached down and took the canteen from them, grimacing at his good deed. Sometimes his human emotions were troublesome; if only there were a way to get rid of them. With an annoyed sigh, he stood up again, shaking his head briefly. "Lead the way," he mumbled, and motioned for them to ascend the stairs before him.

the frogs hopped ahead to Suwako's room where she was sitting sharpening one of her iron rings as Finn came in
"Oh, sorry I wasn't expecting Kero to come back with anyone" She stated a bit surprised looking around the room Finn noticed Suwako had a few things packed as if she was going somewhere

Finn blinked as he walked into the room, waiting for his eyes to adjust to the lighting. He set the canteen down on the floor next to her as she spoke, and realized that she had a few things out, and was preparing them for something.

Leaning lazily against the doorframe, he realized that this "Kero" she spoke of must have been one of the frogs. "You going somewhere?" he asked, though he was merely asking to fill the silence. Her answer didn't really matter to him. It wasn't his business, after all.

"I need to go see that girl, she must know something about what happened here and why it's hard to leave, ...also I can't use all my powers i can barely understand Kero and the others" Suwako frowned "I won't ask you to come alone as it will be dangerous but could you not tell the others I plan to be back before sunrise" Suwako requested she had full use of her arm now as she began gathering her items "I just hope she's not in the mood for frog legs" she joked but also showing how nervous she really was

"Wait," Finn said quickly, hating to have been overcome by his human instincts at such a moment. "Wouldn't you rather wait until you can fully function before you go out lookin' for a fight? I've heard only a little bit of what has happened to you folks, but it seems too dangerous for an injured girl like yourself to set out at such a moment; goddess or not."

Stepping aside so that the girl could get through the doorway if she wished, he shrugged his shoulders as he regained control once more. "But hey," he said, "It really is none of my business, so go ahead and leave if you'd like."
