@ Kyujutsu Competition:
After Seichiro would vacate, it would be the quiet Crane's turn. Taking up his position in the second lane, he would ready how bow for his third round of shots; like before, he would begin targeting the inner ring with his projectiles. {2 raises each, 15 vs TN 25, miss; 15 vs TN 25, miss}
Missing the first two shots, he was forced to aim for a bulls-eye to save himself. Using a void for a free raise, he would call the other two raises as normal. {17 vs TN 25, miss}
The final shot, like the first two, would sail over the target. Kenichi's possibility for victory was shattered, not scoring any points this time. Perhaps he had let the pressure get to him?
"I have failed..." he would say aloud to no one in particular, in a rather soft voice. He would turn and bow to Doji Kita before moving back to where the other samurai were participating, and would sit down and watch the rest of the match patiently.

Hisashi's next turn was up, and he would have to try extra hard to hit at this distance. He didn't know how much he could keep this up with his level of skill, but for the honor of the Mantis and for his own personal growth, he would do whatever he could to do it.

Hisashi would let out another "hoo..." noise as he managed to stay in the round yet again. He wasn't feeling quite as confident as when he had started, but he dared the others to question his efforts at staying alive.
