But... are we, really? I'm like a little boy! How big is the area we're dueling at anyways? I mean, the Crane kid is fighting that other minor clanner. Don't wanna bump against them.

The "Arena" is big enough for one fight. Our fight is merely being played out now. In proper game events it will be considered to have been after the Zanzen/Denbe fight.

It all depends on the situation. With your lost eye disadvantage, I'm at 15 (Reflexes x3)+4 (Defense x2) +5 (If I've won initiative over you) +5 your lost eye. So 24-29.
What's your TN to be hit?

5+Armor. You don't add your Defense skill to your full attack until you reach level 7 in Defense And btw, I found the L5R 3rd Revised Errata. The buggers will let you roll on the distinguished heritage table for two points....*cries* http://doushite.co.uk/scrapbox/L5R/3ER Errata (050509).pdf

I probably won't post tonight. Exam tomorrow, and not sure how to calculate how much that just whooped my a**.
Edit: Found it. And damn, raising your earth ring by 1 does a LOT to help you survive.

Yeah, I checked it out. I'm not sure if I'm down or out, but given the rules I figure he'd want to avoid a kill, and... he did exactly enough damage to fill up every section except the out one-
Which I assume means he did exactly enough to KO me?
