[Echosong turned her tired gaze and locked gaze with Freezeshadow's. She felt like a stupid she-cat, thinking that the travelling herbs shouldn't have been forgotten.] "We're...waiting for-" Echosong, stopped, as sudden rustles came from the bushes. [She stood on her paws with an alarmed look, gazing into the bushes.]

[Shadow appeared in the clearing, his muscles starting to feel stiff. He had a uninterested look on his face as he entered. Suddenly, he had a surprised and angry look, as he noticed two SeaClan members. One tom who was unfamiliar and the other who he despited the most. He had a furious glare in his eyes, as he gritted his sharp teeth. Their scent disgusted him, whatever brought harm to his sisters disgusted him. Their scent wasn't strong, which was good. He gave Echosong a hateful glare.] "I knew it...I should've known..." he growled. [Without thinking, He unshed his sharp claws and rushed over to her, pinning her down. He growled down at her.] "Why didn't you listen to me?! I should just kill you and your stupid sister..your sister did nothing but murder, so why should I let you guys wander this earth? I should do a favour for every innocent being.." Shadow hissed.

[Echosong had a horrified look in her eyes, as she tried to struggle under the tom's claws.] "Please Shadow! Just hear my words, for your sister's sake! I'm telling you that rumour is nothing but lies!" Echosong said in a frightening voice.

[Shadow's eyes were filled with a bewildered look, noticing the amount of strength in the tom's paws. He tried to get up but didn't want to get his flesh opened from his sharp, deadly claws. He glared and growled viciously at Freezeshadow, not fond of the tom. He shot an annoyed glare at Echosong.] "Hurry and ask then! Before I kill both of you!" Shadow growled.

..Echosong and Shadow..

[Shadow growled furiously at Freezeshadow, giving the tom an angry glare. He then stood on his paws and snapped at Freezeshadow, purposely missing his flesh. He sat down and tried to calm himself down, his tail lashing with anger. He glared up at the two with his cold, ice blue eyes.] "Fine...but this is what I mean.." Shadow said. "Your going to kill me if I hurt Echosong? This is proof that SeaClan is nothing but blood thirsty murderers.." Shadow growled. [He then looked at Echosong, with exhausted eyes.] "Hurry and speak." Shadow snapped.

[Echosong gave the tom no smile, only a simple nod. She sat in front of a tom, two tail lengths away. Her sapphire blue eyes focused only on Shadow, as she maintained her calm gaze.] "I'm sorry...i'll go straight to the matter." Echosong said. "However I'd like to tell you my side of the story first. My dear sister Spottedpaw did nothing that a blood thirsty murderer would do. She is innocent I tell you. She even told me herself, with a serious and innocent look, and there might've been a cat at that scene, that we're not unfamiliar with." Echosong continued. "I know that your not going to believe me and hate me with all your rage, but if my sister did kill that kit, I would've just killed you at the instant in order to keep my sister's innocence and keep her safe." Echosong admitted, hating to admit the fact that she would perform an act that she despite the most. "And you listen Shadow, we're not going to accuse anyone until we get full proof, and I mean it." Echosong warned, in a calm tone.

[Shadow nodded slowly, feeling that he was too harsh on Echosong...plus her point was correct.] "...I understand. However there are some ground rules of my own. You will get me updated on any information and we won't get my sister involved in this." Shadow said. "Now ask your questions.." Shadow demanded.

[Echosong nodded in agreement and didn't want to waste time.] "Yes very well, that will do. However you must answer my questions...even Freezeshadow's if he has any." Echosong said. [Her main objective in the present, was to get every bit of information.] "Now, my first question. Where did this all happen?" Echosong asked.
"Probably the forest outskirts..." Shadow answered.
"What is your sister's name?"
"Blossomkit."
"Do you know when Spottedpaw appeared at the scene?"
"I'm not exactly sure..a bit later."
"Does anyone else knows about any of this?"
"No..at least I don't think so. Only that deputy of yours...Trouttail was it?"
"Yes...I am aware of that...when did this happen?"
"At sunrise I think.."
"Who was there at the scene."
[Shadow thought for a minute before answering.] "There was Spottedpaw...of course. My sister's dead body. Me. And...one unfamiliar tom..." Shadow said.
[Echosong starred at the tom, her face in a curious and confused look.] "A tom?" Echosong asked.
[Shadow nodded.] "He had SeaClan scent with him, one thing was I didn't catch his name. Although I remember his appearance. He had those sharp hazel eyes, long fur that is a crimson, red color..." Shadow explained. "Sort of like a fox.."
[Echosong's eyes were wide. Her heart slowed down with shock. She glanced at Freezeshadow, wondering if he was thinking the same as her. Her heart started to thump faster, only starring at the tom like an idiot...frozen in shock and puzzlement.] A fox?

[Freezeshadow listened to every bit of information cautiously.] Could is be possible that Foxfire did this...no, he saw what Spottedpaw did, but if what this Shadow says is true, then... [Freezeshadow trailed off, tiredness starting to take over. He gazed warily at Echosong, but still kept his cold gaze to Shadow.] What is Foxfire hiding...I must tell him this at once. [Freezeshadow meowed.] "Shadow, how was the death of your sister caused, what did this cat do..."

Shadow and Echosong

[Echosong noticed Freezeshadow's drowsiness, she thought that they should be going soon. Echosong starred at Shadow with disbelief, wondering if the tom was really the killer.] "Yes...I agree with Freezeshadow...what was the purpose of that tom's presence at your sister's death...?" Echosong asked.]

[Shadow glanced at the two cats, feeling something wasn't right about this 'tom.' Even Trouttail seemed a bit shocked when Shadow explained the tom's appearance. But...he didn't know. He cleared his throat before talking.] "I-I don't know. Unfortunately, I couldn't see how my sister was killed...but that tom seemed to accuse Spottedpaw repeaditly. That tom was the one who convinced me. However..he seems a bit suspicious.." Shadow said, trailing off.

[Echosong nodded at Shadow's words, wondering Foxfire's purpose of being there.] "Shadow...there is a possible chance that tom could've been at fault for this situation...but it's quite vague." Echosong said. [She looked at Freezeshadow, noticing that they should leave.] "Freezeshadow...we should keep a close eye on the tom...however let's keep this quiet and not say a word about this. Even though the tom was at the scene, we don't have any proof that he was the one to shed that kit's blood. However..he is very suspicious. The fact that he accuses Spottedpaw instantly makes him feel as if he is blaming her..." Echosong said. [She stood on her paws and smiled gently at Shadow.] "We appreciate your time Shadow...I shall visit you very soon.." Echosong said, as she rushed towards SeaClan.]

[Shadow nodded to Echosong and gave a small grin to Freezeshadow, amused by how serious the tom is. He made his departure.] ((Shadow to BreezeClan))
