 *What did Moonkit see? Mother what is happening.* she thought. IceStorm missed her mother dearly now. especially since she was alone. "Moonkit?" IceStorm forced herself to get up. IceStorm searched for moonkit and found her lieing down. "Moonkit? are you alright?"

 Moonkit
[Moonkit sat up dazed at finding herself outside of camp and with Icestorm looking anxiously at her.]
"Ooh, Icestorm. I --" her voice died out, she was unwilling to reveal what she had saw about her and Firestorm.
Her voice dropping to barely a whisper she mewed "Do you love Firestorm?" she tilted her head, curious to know her true answer.

"Moonkit I..." IceStorm sighed. She had to let her emotions out somehow. "Yes. Yes i love him."

[Moonkit looked at her paws..]
"B-but you love him more than anything right?" she squeaked, feeling intrusive.
"I'm so so sorry!" she cried out. "I somehow looked at your true desire. Or.. or maybe it was something else."
"B-but, I'm sure it was you and Firestorm. I felt deep longing. And.. and this!" she cried, bursting into tears.
[She held out her hind-paw for Icestorm to examine.]

"It's alright Moonkit." IceStorm mewed. "Can you describe to me exactly what you saw?" IceStorm asked. IceStorm saw the stripe on Moonkits paw and licked it comfortingly. She set her gaze on Moonkit as she waited patiently for an answer.

Moonkit
[Moonkit was soothed by Icestorm's voice. She had never really remembered her mother..]
"W-well, it was like I was in your memory.. I watched you and Firestorm as apprentices. You were laughing and running around.." she mewed uncertainly.
"A-and then I saw Firestorm as he matured, and felt the strongest sense of desire. And a pain.." she remembered suddenly.
"Right here." she mewed pawing at Icestorm's chest.
"And a voice, it mewed You will pay a price for the things that you see, this is an accursed fate that you cannot flee." she said ominously.
"Oh! Oh and a warm feeling on my hind paw, then poof! A stripe was there.. But I don't really understand it." she mewed unable to stop talking now.

IceStorm smiled. "Yeah. that was my memory. We used to play together when we were younger. WE had to go throught a lot. My mother and my sister died. our brother left us. and so we grew close." She felt tears rolling down her face. "Well, for what the voice said. you saw in my memories and so you paid the price with that stripe." She mewed. "I guess its something only you can do."

Moonkit
[Moonkit looked taken aback by the news about her having skills no other cat has had.]
"But how is that even possible?" she said becoming serious now.
"I'm not special! Nothings ever gone right for me! This shouldn't be happening!" she yelled, almost sounding sad.
"I never asked for this." she mewed quietly feeling tears identical to Icestorm's roll down her face.
[Without waiting for a reply she whipped around.]
Why? Why am I so sad? Shouldn't I be happy? I'm special now aren't I? she thought desperately.
[She heard Icestorm padding along after her.]
[Suddenly she felt an all too familiar feeling take her over.]
NO! she wanted to screech but it was too late, she was sent into another memory.
[Firestorm again? No... It was a beautiful she-cat. Identical to another she-cat, who could only be her sister..Icestorm.]
[The other she-cat was rasping out breaths, her sides heaving with effort..]
"NO!" she yelled out.
[ And she was sent spinning, her paws slamming the earth hard.]
She could her Icestorm's voice distantly and a warmth on her hind-paw.]
But why me? she begged silently to the stars as she blacked out.]

"Moonkit, I..." IceStorm sighed. "I wish i had the answers but all we can do is pray to starclan for these answers." IceStorm followed Moonkit. She heard Moonkit yowl and knew exactly what had happened. IceStorm quickly jumped forward. "I'm so sorry Moonkit. I'm so sorry." IceStorm caught Moonkit. Moonkit was leaning against her. IceStorm waited patiently.

[Moonkit's eyes opened, they were unseeing..
Then suddenly they flickered to life.
She looked around and realized she was leaning on Icestorm.
She felt her pelt burning with embarrassment.
She didn't like to think that any cat saw her as weak.]
"Icestorm.. thank you." she mewed, strangely subdued.
[Had a spirit from Starclan really taken over her dream state?
Shaking the thoughts from her head, she was sure that Icestorm could feel her curiosity coming off of her in waves.]
[She looked down, not wanting Icestorm to see the scared look in her eyes.
As she looked down she saw another stripe on her hind-foot.]
"Oh no.." she said quietly.
[Icestorm looked on patiently.]
"Icestorm would you come back to camp with me?" she asked hopefully.
[Moonkit was unwilling to let go of this moment with the graceful she-cat.]

"It's alright." She whispered to the kit. "Of course. Then let us return shall we?" IceStorm smiled. She got up and waited for Moonkit before she started walking towards camp.

[Moonkit padded along after Icestorm deep in thought about many things.]
(( Why are all the eggs hidden in my posts! >< Oh and Graaay!
Could you help me with kit names? My Nightclan character just had some kits and you can find their descriptions in Lavenderrain's post with bold letters. Here. Thanks! ))

[Moonkit, who now shared some of Icestorm's precious memories felt the need to submerge herself in some of her own.]
[She was surprised at how vague they were.
It was like trying to catch a butterfly, they flutter in close and just when you're about to get them the flutter away.]
She felt dizzy, memories fluttered in and out. Snowy landscapes, no. A reddish tabby tom. A beautiful cream she-cat.
"NO!" she screeched. "It's too much!" she gasped out.
[Quickly gulping down huge breaths of air, Moonkit tried to calm herself but she felt enclosed.]
I need to get away! she thought maddeningly.

IceStorm heard Moonkit screach. "Moonkit? Moonkit are you ok?" She asked the kit. *Maybe its my memories?* she thought. She closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath and completely cleared her head of all thoughts and focused only on what was happening right now.
