Shar nods. "And would you say this, even know that I've only delivered larger mind dead beasts, such as ponies and mules, who could make no comment on my treatment of them or women who's minds have fogged their memories. It is a common thing amongst humans. The women forget their pain... in time. Our village mid-wife says she'd be proud to lend me a hand, but she's only delivered human babies and feels inadequate to deliver yours. It will be me, I'm afraid."

Shar nods with a sigh. "Very well then... there are a few things I will need to know. How long is the average gestation for your people, when do you suspect you conceived and do you have any idea as to when you might be due?"

Shar nods thoughtfully. "Then you have about a month to go. It will be very cold then, I fear... and we will be prone to storms. I know not how it is in your desert kingdom... but here, the change in weather pressure tends to trigger things... birthings, in particular, are very prone to occurring when it is at it's worse. So do you wish for me to come to you or do you wish to come here, when the time is nigh, providing you get advanced notice that is... all our planning may be for naught, ye do understand this? A first birth is usuall easier to plan for.. the second and subsequent ones tend to make their own patterns."

Shar nods, thoughtful... then brightens. "I have a suggestion. When it is close to your time, I will have one of my private rooms here readied for you and you and your mate can come here to stay if the weather seems threatening. IAm I right in supposing he'll be there for the birthing?"

Shar smiles and stands. "That's what I wanted to hear. I have always believed that the men shoudl not be shut out of that part of a woman's life. So How is he doing, anyway? Is his fur coming in or will he have scars now? That was my fear when I saw him. Still his burns, though painful, were not all that bad."

"Which is probably good... it could have been far worse. Anyway, that is pretty much all I wanted to talk to you about. Now I would like to examine you, if you do not mind... nothing invasive. Just want to see how you are doing." says Shar going to wash her hands.

Shar chuckles. "You can stay right there. I'm not doing anything other then checking your vitals and feeling for the cub... from the outside... nothing invasive or intrusive. And if you have any questions, please ask. I may not know the answers right away but I have an extensive library. I'm sure I can find it."

With a gentle touch Shar pokes and probes, carefully outlining the baby then looks up with a frown. "M/lady... unless yer cub has two back sides and one head... or the reverse... I suspect ye may have more than one in there... that's usually the answer to feeling more than two ends of a babe in the womb."

Shar gives her a playful rap on the rump and nods. "Well, such a thing changes from breed to breed, ye know. Anyway. Now that ye are forewarned, ye can plan for it. Anyway... that is it for the day, m'lady. Unless you have anything to ask of me, that is..." says Shar walking back to the sink and washing once again. She looks back over her shoulder and smiles. "I am honored that you trust me."
