"They make small dogs you know. I'm not talking about the ones that could be confused with rats, but the ones that are a decent size but not too big. People aren't that intimidated by them unless it looks rabid. Plus, it's not as a cute as a cat, so people wouldn't call you cute at every corner. You really didn't think this through, did you, Vaati?" Adult Sora laughed. Vaati was cute even when he hissed! What could possibly be threatening about a cat? A purple cat at that? Furthermore, he didn't see how he could take Vaati seriously in his new form. It was just so adorable!
"I don't see why she would want my magic. She seems pretty capable without it. And you should've seen her... She told me the story about how she lost her loved one... There was far too much emotion for it to have been an act. Thank you for your concern though, Opal." Kaya said. She was too thrilled to even consider the possibility that Hex had played her. Ignorance is bliss, and Kaya was bliss.

Vaati sighed. "I had a bad time with dogs when I was Minish, alright?" He hissed as both claws came down over Sora's face and stayed put. Vaati was determined not to let go. He would bite him if he could get a good angle of his face.

Opal - Wind's Child____________________Opal smiled thinking. "I think Vaati went back to Sora. Maybe we'll go back there. Surprise Sora you know?" She said smiling. She didn't really care about Sora and Kaya. But this gave her a excuse to go and see if Vaati was with Sora. She didn't let Kaya respond and warped them to the Library. "Uh! Vaati! Why you scratching Sor- wait... theres two?!" She asked, staring dumbfounded at Adult Sora and Younger Sora. "Two is too many!" Vaati hissed, jumping off Sora and wiggling out of Sora Mini's grip to circle around Opal's legs. He would rather be around Opal instead of scratching Sora. Vaati liked Opal better.

Opal - Wind's Child____________________"If you want I could wish one of them away." She said, of course it didn't happen even when Opal thought about it. She was getting better at controlling what the Minish Cap granted. She bent down and stroked Vaati's lavender fur. "Here, I brought you something." She said pulling out bottle of Milk and a bowl. She poured it into the bowl and placed it on the ground.

Opal - Wind's Child____________________"...I see... oh well, we'll just have to get use to them." She said watching at Vaati licked up his milk and smiled happily. Looked like Vaati did have Cat instincts, good sense of smell, and love towards Milk. She would have to carry it around for him. She wondered if he would like fish as well. Better learn how to fish... I wonder who can teach me. She thought to herself.

Vaati lapped up the last of the milk and liked his paw. He smeared it across his face and get rid of the milk on his chin. The first time he evered washed himself, and he couldn't do it without looking cute.

Opal - Wind's Child____________________Opal giggled to herself and watched Vaati clean himself. "So what are we going to do now? Silver and Lisaya's weddings are over, so theres not really much to do." She said lying down and rolling onto her stomach, her legs in the air, everyone could see her bare dirty feet but she didn't care, she swung them a bit before she put them down, putting her chin in the palms of her hands.

Vaati's ears drooped. "What's that look on your face for?" He asked with a little frown, or something like a frown. It was hard to turn his mouth into a frown or a smile. Maybe it was on thing he missed about being human.
