Anybody here watch Supernatural? I just watched yesterday's (Wednesday, February 6th) episode, and, my God, they've got a really good dramaturge! Speaking both German and Yiddish, and a freaking Golem! The writing on the scroll in the golem's mouth was real cursive Hebrew writing, and they had the lore down pat. I am totally fangirling.

biggrin 72 Yes, yes they are. And I swear they are real. There are accounts of a golem being summoned in Germany during the Holocaust. And the remains of the golem of the Prague ghetto are still in the attic of the synagogue.

I have heard of those accounts of a golem being summoned in Germany at the time of the Holocaust. o:
Ah yes, the famous Golem of Prague.
I first learned about the golems through the game Diablo II:Lord of Destruction. I then did research about the golems as time went on. 3nodding The golem is indeed awesome. biggrin

Lol, that's where I know golems from. I remember the clay golem, iron golem, and blood golem from Diablo II. xp
