@Tsuji: I place him in the same category as Rod Stewart; I really like some of the stuff he does, but I sure wish (and/or am really glad when) someone else would do them.

Bob Dylan? I've never had an interest in his own actual singing of songs. But I've always assumed that the interest was less of an actual interest in the artist than what he sang about, combined with the times when he was singing. *shrugs*
