"It's the truth! Honestly, Jos. Why is it that you never believe anything I say when I'm telling you the truth! I mean, how hard is it to trust somebody every once in a while?" Taka was starting to raise his voice.
(FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT! XD)
"Why, my dear, I am Hex. The Queen of the Shadows!" She said, acting noble. "I am a powerful sorceress around here. In fact, I am top notch. There are few who match my power. But enough about me, dear, tell me about yourself. I found you unconscious at the bottom of a cliff in Elonacia! I had my servants bring you here. We do hope you are alright." She said, sounding genuinely concerned. She played her role well.
"The cliff? Oh! I must have dozed off there! I was attending a wedding..." Kaya tried to explain.
"A wedding? Oh, how sweet! Yes, yes, Lisaya and- Oh what was his name? Heliam? No, no..." Hex said, looking for the right name.
"Helios." Kaya chimed in, sweetly.
"Helios! That's it! I would have attended myself, dearie, but I find those events dreadfully dull myself. It's no wonder you fell asleep! I mean, with all of those party guests it must have been a huge line just to get dinner!" She went on a rant, but still seemed innocent and non-threatening. Kaya even chuckled a bit. That was a good sign. "I see you aren't like the others. I don't believe I've seen your face before around the shadows..." Hex said, hinting for an introduction.
"Well... I'm new here. I recently got myself transformed into this when I crashed into the Dark Mirror... I tried going back to my home, but... they banished me..." Kaya said, looking down at her blanket. She had been tucked into bed, but she was now sitting up.

"Oh, that's just horrible, deary!" Hex raised her voice just a bit. "Why I know exactly how that is! I was banished too, you know. They found out about my powers and just kicked me right out of my own home. I nearly died, I did, but I warped myself here. Now I have servants and everything right at my fingertips! I showed them, I showed all of them! They had no right to do that to me, but oh, I showed them and showed them good!" She was yelling at this point, but then she broke into tears.
Kaya was thrown off guard. She barely knew this woman, but she felt sympathetic nonetheless. They had common ground and shared the same pain.
"Madame Hex?" Kaya asked, concerned about her.
"Oh, I'm sorry about that dear!" Hex said, as she attempted to regain her composure. "It's just that... Well, I was in love. I had to leave everything behind me, including him... If I could I would just give up my powers, become human again and we'd live together... forever..." Hex was hoping Kaya would take the bait.
"Why can't you?" Kaya was almost afraid to ask.
Hook, line, sinker.
"Oh, it was terrible!" Hex moaned. "He knew there was good in me. After I left, there was still quite the talk about how wicked I was to the very core! He tried to defend my name... But they thought I had put a curse on him... They destroyed him. Said it was for his own good! Imagine that... destroying someone for standing up for their loved one!" A few more tears came and a little heavy breathing. She was putting on quite the performance.
Kaya was horrified by this. Sora...! He ran after me! What if he tries to clear my name? What if the same thing hap- She didn't want to think about it, but she couldn't stop. After a few moments, she managed to get it out of her mind enough and walked over to Hex.
"... You're not wicked to the core, Madame Hex." Kaya said, putting her hand on Hex's shoulder.
"Thank you so much." She said as she regained her composure. "You know, I don't think I got your name..." She said as she smiled a little.
"My name is Kaya."

Vaati kept one eye but he couldn't shake off a feeling that soemthing was wrong. He rose from his ball formation and sniffed around Opal and the hat, but everything appeared fine. Vaati even decided to check up on the old fool, but he was out cold, snoring softly in his sleep. If it was anything in the inn, than what was it? Vaati jumped out the window and sniffed around the air, trying to find something that might help him.
((FOUR SWORDS! Shadow Link is so mean with those huge bombs. XD))

Opal - Wind's Child____________________Opal ears twitched, she heard movement and jolted from her sleep. Her heart racing as she looked around, she saw that Vaati had gone. She yawned, rubbing her eyes and looking around. Where did that Cat get to? She thought to herself, glancing at Ezlo. He was asleep. It was the first time she had really seen the Elder Minish. He looked so calm, and peaceful. It made Opal smile. She stood up looking around, where could he have gone? Not far... she hoped. Josline - Future Girl____________________"Now you know how it feels like when someone doesn't listen..." Josline muttered, her back turned to him and arms crossed.

"And now you know what it's like not to be trusted!" Taka said, crossing his arms and turning away from her as well.
"Kaya? What a lovely name!" Hex smiled. "I bet you have a suitor, don't you?" She asked.
"Yes... Well, in a way..." Kaya said, looking for the right words.
"Then there is no time to lose!" Hex said, power behind her voice. "Don't you see dear? I am skilled at potions and transformations. I could turn you back into a human, you could live out your life with your true love and live happily ever after!"
Kaya's face lit up. "You could do that? Really?" She hated her transformation. Down to the very last detail. She had yearned for a normal life ever since the option had been taken away from her.
"Of course! Now, you said you ran into the Dark Mirror. I've heard theories of that sort. Now, by the looks of you, your skin is similar to the Twili tribe. Judging by your aura it appears you've fused with your shadow twin. You've become one single person. Astonishing! Now, if you were to be drained of all of your magic- both light and shadow- it should render you human. Your skin should return to its previous color and you could live the rest of your life as a normal human being." Hex said all of this as if it were grand and marvelous. "Now, of course I would take your magic as payment. And once this is process is complete, it cannot be undone." She said. It was a lie of course, but she wanted Kaya to think this as an ultimatum.
Kaya knew she should probably think more about this decision, but she was too thrilled about the idea of a normal life that she could only say, "Deal"
"Then come with me! We have a potion to brew!" She said as she lead Kaya down into a kitchen area with a big cauldron in the middle of the room.

Vaati continued with his search, but nothing was coming up. The wind felt horrible, it was picking up a new type of magic, one he wasn't familiar with. Vaati couldn't understand what it meant. He just knew it couldn't be good.
((Instant death. I was unable to get of the water... e.e))

Josline - Future Girl____________________Josline had anger boiling in her. "TAKA I LOVE YOU!" She shouted. Where the words had come from she didn't know. But she ran, she ran before she even saw him react. She didn't want him to turn her down. Tears ran down her face. I'm an idiot... I'm just an idiot... she thought. Opal - Wind's Child____________________Opal decided to walk outside, it was just becoming the hour of twilight. The sun against the horizon as darkness and light mixed. Opal's bare toes dug into the cool dirt. She was holding onto the Minish Cap while she looked around.

(O.o Was not expecting that... XD)
Taka was caught completely off guard. He turned to see her run and then pass a corner. He extended his arm in a reflex and said. "Wait! ... I... love you too..." He said, bummed out. He hated himself right now. What an idiot! What was it about him that made Jos run away and get angry all the time?
Kaya was overwhelmed. Hex had been adding all sorts of ingredients- things she had never heard of before- into the cauldron. It was boiling something fierce. The smell was horrible, but by the end, Hex handed her a bottle filled with a black potion.
"Drink this and it will make your magic flow out of your body and I will collect it in this jar." Hex said as she held a blue jar with a strange attachment on its mouth. "It won't taste very good, but the results will well be worth the drink." Hex assured her. "You will live the life you were destined to have."
Kaya looked at the bottle. This was really it! She was going to be a human again! She could go back to her village, find Sora and move on with her life! The life she wanted, nay, deserved. She drank the still warm potion. It tasted horrible. She had very much trouble swallowing it. It was as if she had a lump in her throat. Then, after she managed to swallow, she had trouble keeping it down. She started to get dizzy. Her head was in a fog. Her heart started burning and burning. She was gasping for air.
Sora coughed as if he were drowning. Gasping for air, he screamed as loud as he could. He sounded as if he were in pain, but there was no flesh wound. It was as if something were stabbing at him, in his very heart.

Josline - Future Girl____________________Josline was sitting in a alley way, sobbing to herself. Hiding her face in her arms, she didn't want to see or hear anything anymore. She just... didn't... care... anymore. She suddenly saw Taka's shining face appear in front of hers. She felt bad that she had yelled it at him that she loved him. She stood up and turned and walked off, suddenly bumping into Taka. She looked at him, her face still wet with tears. Had he followed her? Or had he just come outside to leave.

Vaati cringed in pain. The wind just brought him a scream. He couldn't tell where it was coming from, he was too busy cringing to think about which way the wind was coming from. For a moment, he swore he could recognize the voice.

Taka looked at Jos. The moment he saw her, everything that seemed complex just melted. "I love you too." He said as he moved close and dried her tears.
(Aww! Now, back to the suffering characters. >=D)
Kaya felt as if her soul was split in two. Her magic was gone now. She fell unconscious.
Hex made sure Kaya was out cold. She held the jar full of magic above her head. "At last! It's mine! She had quite the bit of magic too! Why, I dare say it was enough to rule Hyrule in a few weeks if used properly! But I have bigger plans than that..." She cackled. Then she looked at Kaya. "How sweetly pathetic! Still, there's no need to keep her prisoner, or even reveal my true nature to her. I'll let her live happily ever after... for now..." She cackled even more. She wrote a note, tied it to Kaya's wrist, and warped her someplace in the world of light.
Sora felt as if his soul were breaking apart. He too fell into unconsciousness, but not before he uttered a yell much louder than the previous ones. He didn't have time to see the effects of what had happened. That meant he didn't see the child that appeared next to him. It was the all too familiar Kokiri that was sleeping next to the adult Sora.
(This is just getting more interesting by the sentence! XD -grabs popcorn)

Vaati cringed even more, but suddenly, the screaming was gone. His ears twitched at the silence. The wind changed again suddenly, though it was such a small difference, he didn't noticed it very well. It was a new scent. Well, most scents were new scents to him. He knew what Ezlo and Opal smelled like, the rest were all mysteries, but there was a new scent that wasn't there when the screaming started. Vaati was baffled; it smelled close to another scent eh found, only it smelled... fresher?

Taka knew what she was thinking. She really was shy. He took her hand and placed it on his heart. It too, was racing.
(Notice how it always takes two characters forever to get to even this point in a relationship? XD)
Kaya woke up. She was at Zora's Domain. The waterfall was nearby, and the mist felt good on her skin. She rubbed her eyes. Then, when she took her hands away, she noticed. They were normal! She got up and ran to the water to see her reflection. Her skin was normal, her dress had turned to white this time, and she noticed it was a little more stylish. Her hair was still white and her eyes red. But she didn't care.
I... I'm beautiful! She thought to herself. She felt so happy! Then she noticed the note.
Kaya,
I hope you enjoy your new look! You're a natural beauty! Now go and get your man.
PS: I hope you don't mind, but I made a few changes to your dress. It looked as if it could use a little sprucing up.
