Tam tries to fight him off, then, not knowing why, he decides to try and pin him down instead, hoping to knock a little sense into him.

"Damn...." growls Tam, trying to come up with some form of solution. Then in his struggles he feels his head connect with the leg of the bed and that is the last he remembers until he comes to some time later.

Tam shudders at the thought. Then remembers a cave some distance from town and wonders if his lady friend lioness is still hanging around it. He morphs back into his angel form and carefully picks Kero up. He is far stronger in this form, but his wings make moving about in the room a bit cumbersome.

Going outside he takes to wing and flies Kero to the cave. Sure enough, she is sleeping inside. Hating himself for doing it, he checks to see if she has cubs or is pregnant. She isn't. Placing Kero carefully just inside the cave, he finds several large logs and a fair sized boulder he rolls across the entrance. Then he reaches out once again to the lioness and spells her into heat. Some breeds don't want to mate out of it and he wants Kero to be safe. Then having effectively found a solution to his problem he sinks down to the ground outside the cave to wait, drawing his knees up to his chest. Before long he is shivering uncontrollably... as it begins to dawn on him what could have happened.

Tam buries his head in his arms and waits its out. Wondering how long it was going to take. Wishing he was anywhere but there but knowing he shouldn't leave just incase kero needed him. Suddeny a strong arm slips around him and pulls him close. "It's ok, dulcha... I'm here..." says Bez quietly, doing nothing more than holding him close through the night.

Tam curls up against Bez and sighs.

"Something wrong..." asks Bez gently.

"I almost did a very foolish thing." says Tam hesitantly.

Bez reaches into Tam's shirt and pulls out a locket and flicks it open, looking at the two wolf children inside and smiles. "Wouldn't be a first... but it would only have been foolish if you did it without meaning to. Still you came up with a viable solution. So I'm grateful."

Tam gives him a gentle punch in the ribs and snuggles close. "Hold me.." he begs in a whisper and that is exactly what Bez does. But when he wakes up in the morning he is alone. The ground beside him is still warm, but there is no sign of his swedh. If not for the warmth beside him, it could have been a dream, then a small cat creeps out of the bushes and slips in next to him, curling up in the spot, making him wonder if perhaps it had been a dream after all.

He curls up around the tiny cat and tries to keep from shaking. The cat, grateful for the added warmth, purrs loudly, sending soothing vibrations through Tam's dy and he drifts off to sleep once more, an uneasy sleep, punctuated by the sounds of the mating cats in the cave.

Tam realizes this is going to be an extended event and goes hunting. Both Kero and the lioness will need to eat. He takes to the air and comes back a few hours later with a deer across his shoulders. He pushes one of the logs aside, shoves the deer in, then replaces the wood across the entrance way. Looking down at the tiny house cat which had kept him company he asks if it would like some cream. When it curls about his legs in a friendly manner, he takes it for a yess and picking it up flies to the temple, to see Shar.
