Wondering why the cub... no not a cub any longer but a cat. Kero was no longer a cub in anything and Tam missed his small charged terribly. Wondering why the cat was going out of his way to anger him... not merely annoy or tease, but out and out anger... Tam decides to go for a walk, to hopefully cool off. He climbs back into his window and goes to open the trapdoor to his room.

"Kero..." he calls worriedly, looking around. He goes to the door of Kerobian's room. "Taro, dulcha... are you in there?" he calls.

Snatching up his hat and slamming it on his head, he storms out the door, wishing he hadn't even tried. With no designation in mind, Tam starts walking towards the forest, paying no attention to his surroundings, becoming quite lost. Coming to his senses a few hours later he realizes he's in a location he's never been in before and that it is getting dark. Somehow this suits his dark mood perfectly. Knowing he could always take to wing if he wanted to and that he really couldn't be that far from town, he decides to enjoy the peace and quiet, finding a stump to sit on.

After about an hour of peace, Tam realizes he misses Kerobian and needs to go home, to face him, to find out why the cat is so angry at him. He takes to the air and finds he further out than he thought. By the time he reaches the cottage, it is full dark. Landing in the garden he goes inside, not bothering to morph back and goes to Kero's door. Steeling himself he opens it and walks inside.
"Kero, dulcha... we need to talk..." he says coming inside.

Tam comes in anyway and confronts him. "Kero... what is wrong? Have I don't something to hurt you or don't you feel well?" he asks in a quiet voice, carefully studying the cat.

Tam sighs. "Feels like your skin is on too tight, doesn't it... like you need to bust out and can't..."
He walks to the bed and sits down, but give Kero his space, just being close is enough. He hopes.

*Kero starts to nod...then suddenly...nothing...his eyes grow vacant...frighteningly so...and Tam notices...well...he notices a certain portion of Kero's anatomy has grown solid...*

Moving carefully, he goes to the window and bars it tight, then he goes and locks the door as well, but stays with the cat, fearing to leave him alone.

*Bad move...Kero knocks him to the floor as he moves back towards him, towering over him...his unthinking instinct all too clear*

Tam tries to get away, but his wings get in the way, so he morphs back into his humanoid shape, even though he's not as strong in that form. Catching Kero off guard he sampers to the bed and crawls underneath.
