"....Hm...." Vaati went through all the possible choices. A cat could cuddly and vicious a the same time. He wouldn't be a bunny, or anything so cute and fuzzy. Not to mention he hated bunnies after he found out Shadow had been the one bunny. Anything huge was always out of the question, he didn't want people to think he was attacking her. "I think I'll be a talking cat." Vaati decided a few minutes later.

Opal - Wind's Child____________________Opal blinked imagining what Vaati would look like as a talking cat. Suddenly there was a flash as the spirit of Vaati took form. Flesh and blood formed together, and fur. And sitting before Opal was a large adult cat. A little bit smaller than an normal adult cat. but still bigger than a kitten. He, unlike normal cats had lavender fur and deep purple stripes, his eyes were deep ruby red. "Can you talk?" She asked, bending down. She had wished that he could speak in his voice that he had before he died.

"Hm, this is interesting." Vaati murmured. His jaw moved exactly like a human jaw. He swished his tail around. It felt weird to have a body again, but he was enjoying the new perspective. "Is this a completely new body?"

Opal - Wind's Child____________________"I believe so... I think making a animal body is easier on the Minish Cap then making a human one." She said taking the Minish Cap off. Her hair was all messy, she quickly flattened it down with the palm of her hand. "Can you handle walking? I know you haven't been a ghost for very long. But maybe you would like me to carry you, just until you got use to your new body." She said.

"I should walk." Vaati replied. He stood up on all fours and began a slow walking pace. "Well, Ezlo should have a reason to complain. Where's the ancient now anyway?" Vaati asked as he picked up a faster stride.

Who know's they might be useful." She said shrugging. She put the Minish Cap back on her head. Glad to have Vaati back, as a cat... but still... back! She felt extreme happiness.

"That's... lovely. We're in the middle of Castle Town!" Vaati hissed at himself. He should have waited to tell Opal. He froze, trying to decided on what to do next. Should he just ditch Sora and the others to go show Ezlo his new form? Vaati wasn't sure.

Opal - Wind's Child____________________Opal looked down, she suddenly picked up the cat. Holding him and slipping into a abandoned alley way, she blinked her eyes and appeared behind the inn. She looked up seeing the old Oak tree and placed Vaati on the ground. "Sorry..." she muttered to him.

Vaati stared at with his large, ruby eyes, completely dazed. The comment took him by surprise. "Uh, thanks." He managed to say before he focused all the magic like he could before. He blinked and found them two of them back in Opal's room.

"Jos! I'm sorry about that! But this one here decided to fall asleep on me!" Taka explained gesturing towards Sora. "I had to warp him back to put him to bed, but then we ended up here and Vaati showed up and then he woke up and-" Taka said as fast as humanly possible. He did not want Jos angry with him.
"Huh? I fell asleep?" Sora asked, genuinely surprised. Come to think of it, it does make sense a bit... Then he tried to remember what happened earlier that night.
The figure's minions brought the unconscious Kaya to her.
"Perfect! Set her over there!" She cackled as she spoke.
The minions did as they were instructed. They looked as if they were created from black ink with no faces. Just a dark outline of a humanoid creature.
Now, time to drain her of her magic! She could barely contain her excitement. She began the process, but had no success. She tried again and again with different methods, but they all failed.
"What is this!" She screamed. She sought her crystal ball for answers. It showed her how Kaya merged with her light self.
"Blast! Her two halves must have merged together too far! Her magic is under the security of both light and dark! What a complex web, if only she were split apar-" She stopped herself in her rant. "Split apart...! Of course! But she needs to do that on her own..." The figure said lost in thought. "Perhaps, I need to go about this with a different approach..." She cooed. "Minions!" She shouted as several of them appeared. "Send her to the most hospitable room in the palace. Let her wake up to paradise..." She cackled again, this time so loudly it could have been heard throughout the land.
