He didn't know what he could offer to the other compared to anyone else. Sure, he can design clothes. But that's it. Well, he could cook and clean too, but that's not the point. Sheesh, I sound like a housewife. He pondered to himself and bitterly smiled to himself. Hearing a compliment from Benjamin made him more happy than anything. It's not normal behavior for Yosuke and he began to wonder if this was going to happen more often. "Thanks Ben. But enough about me for a moment. I still don't know that much about you." The water mage sighed, knowing that he had to state much about himself so that Yosuke would know more about him. He stated the basics first. "I'm a half-demon, actually. I'm a water mage, so you may see me doing all those majestic water balls from time to time. Plus, aside from reading, I'm also into music and majestic scenery. Also, I like sweets, so I wouldn't mind in case someone would offer chocolate for me. It keeps my brain active when consumed in moderate doses."
But he hadn't entrusted the human with the fact that he has his signature grimoire, which was none other than Leabhar. He wouldn't let anyone else touch that book but himself.

Benjamin. It's just how a half demon even wanted him in the first place that got him questioning himself a bit. Was Benjamin desperate or...? He shook his head to prevent those thoughts from harassing him further. He would have to trust him for now. He smiled at his other likes.
"Hm music... Do you have a preference?" He took his gel pen from the table and put it back into his pocket. At the question about music, he paused, humming a bit. "I'm into classical music, mostly. Mozart, Beethoven and Strauss are my favorite composers. Also, I'm into jazz. Saxophone is my favorite instrument to listen. May I know yours?"
He would bet that Yosuke was into modern pop, or some other genre that was in the 21st century. He had to wait for his reply.

After the waiter had left, he returned his attention to Ynez. "Don't tell me... Were you worried about me?" he teased, resting his hands in his lap. At the sound of Zariel's voice in his mind, his cheeks turned pink. He didn't want to pry into their business, so he tried his best to tune their voices out. "Yeah, it's too bad my injuries don't heal faster... It would be better that way, so Jewel and Jerome wouldn't be worried so much." He commented, his features lighting up at the mention of his step-siblings. Jaquinne couldn't help but laugh at Ynez's sarcastic words. "I may not look it, but I'm actually really clumsy. Funny, isn't it?"

"Wow! So you listen to those genres too? I thought that I was the only one... I don't have a particular favorite since I like all genres." He replied. Perhaps this was why he was considered too much of an optimist. He liked a lot of things and didn't have many dislikes. This probably made everything seem less special.

 She took a sip out of her coffee drink and breathed a content sigh. How comforting this is. It wasn't long until the clock struck six that the woman's appearance had started to shift. Her long locks of silver tresses turned ink black, heterochromia irises turned crimson. It's been almost a whole day since they've sat around. Zariel clicked her tongue as she looked down on her clothes. White.
"Oh? So what if I were?" she asked as a mischievous smile crept across her face. Feeling slight discomfort, she peeled off the eye patch on her face.
'Oh come on, you were obviously worried.'
'Don't blame everything on me. You were, too. By the way, get rid of your eye patch.' countered the ravenette as she rolled her eyes.
'I can't.'
She took a bite out of her desserts and pushed the plates to the centre of the table, gesturing for him to have some. Zariel couldn't help but chuckle at the mention of his siblings. They were very much hostile but they were adorable. "Makes me feel like having siblings now." she murmured. One of her eyebrow raised at his statement and she laughed. "Well, you certainly don't seem like a clumsy fella. How cute." she teased in return, snickering in the process. "Oh, so you're definitely musically inclined as a huge fan. How interesting," the blond admitted. He should definitely let the azure-haired human borrow his CD collection, more so when they decide to hang out even more. It would depend on what would possibly happen in the future, so for now, he should just go with the flow.
When the aspiring fashion designer suggested about the chocolate, his smile was light and serene. "As long as it's sweet or dark, it's fine. I don't like the spicy variety, though. Not my type."

Yosuke thought the same thing about spicy chocolate. It was an odd combo. Shouldn't chocolate just be sweet and not spicy? He shook his head at the thought. He generally didn't like spicy things, so he may be a bit biased. Other than that, looks like he could make any type of chocolate. It was time to get creative. He sat there brainstorming ideas while watching clouds drift by out of a window. The smile Benjamin made earlier, he wanted to see that more often. He blushed at the thought of it and diverted his mind processes back to brainstorming. He didn't really know what else to say to keep the conversation going. It wasn't long before the waiter came in and he ordered the drinks as well as the cookies. By the time the worker left, his azure eyes took notice of the human's concentrating mood. It had reminded him of the times when he was busy reading and then deciphering the ancient languages printed on the pages. Before he could forget, he took his bag and opened it, picking up his wallet. He then fetched the paper that contained his phone number and passed it over to Yosuke.
"Here's my number. Feel free to call me."
He then winked at his target of affection, hoping to accentuate his intentions of courting him.

He silently watched as he took out his wallet. He wasn't going to be paying for all the beverages and food was he? That was what he considered until the other took out a piece of paper. He smiled when he heard about its content. Realizing that he should do the same, he wrote his phone number down in his sketchbook and carefully ripped around it.
"Sorry, didn't think I would need to bring my phone number around." He blushed when he saw the half demon winking. He really wants to court me doesn't he?

Benjamin smiled when Yosuke handed him his number also. Immediately, he picked up the paper, slipping it into his wallet before putting it back into his bag. Indeed, his first step was a success.
"After all, like I said, you were indeed an interesting guy. It wouldn't hurt to have some company since my first time here in Soleil. My house is at Ombre, actually."

The waiter arrived with the drinks as well as the cookies. "New Year's Eve, huh? I would prefer to watch the fireworks from a distance than to be together with the others during the festivities. Say, how about we spend some time alone at the park... or whatever floats your boat, on that night? While watching the explosive lights, of course."

He smiled towards the half demon. Yosuke was thinking about joining a city-wide event that was apparently happening soon, but he just moved into Soleil.
