"better they die then you eh? Nah, I can somewhat understand that. Most the fighting I've done is for the entertainment of others. It's not quite stage fighting, but its not super practical either. You on the other hand have an actual opponent to fight. One that could take your life because it wants to. There's no time limit when heartless invade. And medics never seem to be around to care for the casualties," leopold sighed. "to many treat this war like a game. War is not a game. And there is no respawns. Those who fight feel the effects of it," he said.

Leopold shrugged. "I have no idea. I guess they are working for some higher purpose. A cause worth dying for to them. Either that or they're just to stupid to realize that it's a fallacy to face us. They're attracted to the very weapon that can kill them. The keyblade,"

Leopold sighed and stroked his beard. "Unfortunately, I don't think such a place exists. These creatures are everywhere. Even the supposedly peaceful destiny islands. Albeit they pop up more sporadically there. None one day and then the island is taken over by then the next. Sometimes, I believe the only place with true peace is the other side. I'd help you, but I have never actually been off this world. All I know comes from books and my son," he said.

Patricia woke up to yuki's cries. She walked over to the crib and began slowly rocking the child.

Leopold scoffed. "There's a ship that goes to heaven? I thought you had to die to get there. Frankly, I'm not looking to die any time soon. If the normal world is this hellacious, I'd hate to see what hell is like," he smirked. "I want a vacation as much as the next guy, but I have to much to protect here. So many memories made in this house. Now our couch is near death and creatures of darkness want to rip people's hearts out. Welcome to life. Speaking off life," leopold said as yuki stopped crying. "It seems my wife has quelled your son," he said smiling. He added another log to the fire.
Patricia quietly snuck out of the room and returned to the master bedroom. She quickly fell asleep with a smile on her face.

Leopold stood up from the floor and put out the fire. "I ought to thank you for fighting for us back then," he said stretching. "Well, I better turn in. You rest up 'great hero'" he said laughing. "Hopefully I won't keep you two up with my wife," he said laughing. He walked upstairs to the master bedroom.
( wink you know what I mean by that.)

Leopold walked into the master bedroom and Lay beside his wife. He fell asleep quickly. Cordinia went to sleep in her home as well.

Patricia slowly woke up. She stretched some and walked downstairs. She started the coffee maker and pulled out some bowls and baking sheets. She opened the cabinets and pulled out cinnamon, flour, sugar, and eggs from the fridge. She began making cinnamon rolls. When she finally put them in the oven, she drowsily walked over to a chair and slumped on the table.
Leopold was still sleeping silently. He wasn't awakened by yuki crying.
